JJ Eyelashes – Madison

Just came back from my appt with Sonja who took my barely there lashes to beautiful, long and full. The procedure took about an hour and was very relaxing, plus the free foot massage was an added bonus! The appt was easy to make and they also offer a ton of other services. Love this place and will now be a steady customer.

I’ve been to JJ lashes in herald sq and midtown before, but so far I like this one the best. It’s a little out of the way for me, but making an appointment was super easy since there’s more open appointments than the other locations. What’s great is you get your own room, so it’s more peaceful and quiet.
My technician was Mimi and I told her prior I wanted cat eyes and C-​curl and she did just that. She was friendly and took her time putting each lash on. Also got a nice little foot massage. It was so relaxing that I almost dozed off! Definitely would come back again for my lash extensions. Check out Groupon for great deals at this location!

The eyebrow is not cool at allll. She said it will last 1 – 2 years, but after 2 month the color is all gone. My friends did them in China and it last 1 year till now still looking new. I think the color May use sucks so it doesn’t last long. What’s more, she refuses to do a touch up on me cuz it’s over 46 weeks after I finally decide to pay 179 $more. I was already furious that she has to charge more for touch ups, it’s HER problem and HER fault the color stayed for like 2 months…
Also, May is a very stubborn women, I recommended my friend to do eyebrows, my friend was furious cuz May doesn’t let my friend pick her eyebrow style.

I scheduled an appointment for an eyebrow tattoo with May, the owner/​cosmetic tattoo artist. I’m very vain as a lot of women are, & really just wanted to fill in parts of my natural brows as they’ve been overplucked in some areas, but they’re pretty full already. It’s been about a month & OMG it’s a complete disaster!!! Maybe the fact that I had hair on my brows threw her off? Maybe she’s used to working with hairless brows? Who knows??? One eyebrow is beautiful & round & soft & the other one is way too dark & looks like I’m angry!!! (I specified I wanted ROUND BROWS in the consult)… I was under the impression that a COSMETIC TATTOO ARTIST was supposed to make the eyebrows as similar looking as possible, bkuz again, I was under the impression that they’re ARTISTS. Now, as aforementioned, one eyebrow looks great & the other one looks like it belongs to the evil witch in the movie Malicious!!! I’m still having to fill them in so they look even & so I don’t look angry. My last option is to go back & have her TRY to fix them & make the other one pointy so they look even, but I don’t want to look angry all the time :(.
Bottom line, I’m gonna have to pay MORE money for tattoo REMOVAL. Thanks JJ Eyelashes
Just a little advice, pease do not tattoo ur eyebrows, unless your brows are like, absolutely hairless!!! Penciling them in is ABSOLUTELY the way to go. Also, if u like changing ur hair color & like keeping your brows a similar color to your hair, don’t tattoo!!!

The technician was so gentle, I could hardly feel her doing anything at all! Another plus is that you’re in a private room instead of a big room with rows of beds like a factory so it was nice and comfortable.
I couldn’t make my first appointment and the reception was kind enough to reschedule me for another time slot without any trouble or a fee… and she let me use her phone charger while I waited for my technician!

I love my lashes! Jane was great with me and knew exactly what I wanted without exhausting me with complicated questions. I’m so happy that I got my first pair of lashes at JJ because they look and feel great!

I’ve started my brow tattoo marathon about 10 years ago. Switching salons, technicians, colors, brow shapes and eyebrow pencils left me hopeless and unhappy with my looks for many years. My decade long struggle ended instantly, when I found JJ Eyelashes. The staff is very courteous and professional. The facility is spotless. May, the owner, is a true artist with a vision. Valerie at the front desk is very patient, pleasant and knowledgeable. I did eyebrows permanent makeup which made me look younger and beautiful and a full face threading, which made my face glowing. And now I am going to try eyelash extensions. So excited!!!
I recommend this place to all the ladies wholeheartedly! It worth every penny you spend, I promise you!

I made an appointment for permanent eyebrows. When I arrived, Valerie greeted my girlfriends and I. She was lovely, kind and answered all our questions. Then I met with May. May is an artist! She created eyebrows that look like hair! Think 3D tattoo. I would recommend this salon to anyone!

I have been going to this location for the past few months and they are amazing. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful. I got the ruby set originally and then I upgraded to the diamond and I loved both. My first appt was with jade and I loved her work so much I only book with her. I like a more natural look so she gave me a consultation before she started to know exactly what I wanted. Jade is the best! If it’s your first appt I would definitely try and book it with b/​c she does a beautiful job. Love my results :).

I am pleased to write this review for JJ Lash upper east side location. The staff could not be any nicer and more accommodating. I had recently moved back to New York from Los Angeles where I originally fell in love with eye lash extensions. I went to a couple of «cheaper» places and could barely tell I had even gotten a new look for my time and money.
Fortunately, I found JJ Lash and 2 amazing technicians Mei and Jade. Both ladies are so professional and magicians at what they do!
You begin with a consultation where you choose between curvatures of the lash. Then you select length. I go with a 13 now but they have all lengths between 8 – 16. They are excellent at recommending the healthiest lash choice for you.
Once you start your transformation you receive a complimentary foot massage which is heavenly. The décor and vibe of the salon is completely serene but also fabulous.
I could not be happier with them and would recommend JJ Lash to any of my girl/​guy friends.

It was so easy to make an appointment and the location is beautiful! The woman at the front desk was so helpful and nice and Jade, who did my lashes, was wonderful!

It was my first visit to JJ eyelash. Although there are tons of beauty spas in nyc, It is always hesitating and hard for me to pick one and go because of many reasons to consider such as products that they use, the skills of the therapists, and most of all the environment of the place (clean, calm, etc). A friend of mine recommended to me to go there since they use the same products for skincare that I use. Also, they provide many different types of services — and one of them is the scalp treatment. I’m in 20’s but I have experienced severe hairloss (alopecia) since I moved to nyc, which I tried many different products and treatments with no good results. When I heard that JJ uses finest products for skin and scalp treatment, I decided to go to. Yesterday was my first day of treatment. Believe or not, I already see the improvement! I had less hairloss this morning during shower– I was so amazed and very happy!
Also, as soon as I walked into the building I felt very unique — because the place was so quiet, calm, very clean, and nice music to listen throughout the procedure. And Sarah, the therapist who did the treatment for me was so caring and thorough. She is also the facial aesthetician with years of experience in Korea !! I would definitely go back for facial massage, too. I am so happy that I found such a nice place — I am very much satistifed with JJ. I just can’t wait until my next appointment and to see the results after all the scalp treatment is done :)
