I’ve been coming here for several years and have generally enjoyed it. The service is fine, especially if you like strong massage. Sophia is excellent!

Best massage I’ve ever had and it’s super cheap. My only complains are that it is ugly inside and sometimes the head pads are a little uncomfortable.

i used to stop by here for after Bloomingdale-​ing on weekends. There used to a nice man at the counter and a nice young girl who did a great job un-​knotting and massaging my tensions away for very small fee.
Today, I stopped by and was unfortunate to have encountered a nasty a bee there. Se was rude and had a nasty attitude like we were inconveniencing her. If you are curious, she had a reddish hair, mid 40’s and rude! Not liking her face and attitude I asked for the nice you girl that works there which set her off big time because she thought i wanted a young girl! I explained that no, i wanted THAT one particular girl who happens to be young but was good and nice. Still she thought i wanted some young girl and kept saying she was busy after she agreed to give a massage to my Mother. As busy as she claimed she was major pissed i didn’t want a massage too and kept on her nasty way of talking. I told her since you are soon busy, we will just leave. She slammed the door on our back presumably while she had customers in the room being massaged and trying to relax!
I don’t know if this is new ownership but that was the last time i go up to that house of mean and bitchiness.

The Ji Li Tui-​Na Center is hit or miss. Unfortunately, it’s more often a miss than a hit. It is a small cheap massage parlor so I don’t expect a lot when I go in there, but I do expect to come out feeling better than when I came in. However, my past three visits (my girlfriend was treating me so I can’t say no) I have come out feeling like I was beaten by a Mac Truck. The small women working there have a surprising amount of strength and when they find something that feels like it could be a knot (but usually isn’t) they will dig into it as hard as they can regardless of what kind of complaint you may make.
However, to justify giving them two stars instead of zero I have to talk about the hits. There are several women who work there who seem to have magic hands. If you are lucky enough to show up when one of them is working you will receive a massage worth far more than the $ 55.00 you paid. However, it’s becoming more and more rare to see one of those women when you walk in the door. If you see a woman who’s about 5’10″ with a somewhat masculine jaw heading to greet you I would save yourself the intense pain and find another place to get rubbed down!

I was introduced to this place by a friend, and have been here many times since. I’ve even brought family, friends and one work colleague here. It’s a world unto itself, inside Ji Li, and at first I wasn’t sure what might be going on in this massage place with its red curtains…
However, every time I have been here, I’ve had a consistent and totally above-​board experience. The massages are very good, mostly performed by fairly strong Chinese women. Their technique and sequence of massaging is similar, no matter who does the massaging. Their level of courtesy is high, although at times the mood can feel too efficient and brusque.
The massage «rooms» are separated only by curtains so this isn’t for the super-​modest. But the place seems reliably clean, and the low lighting gives you another level of privacy.
Only a couple times have I heard what sounds like an inappropriate «special request» coming from another customer. In those cases, the woman giving the massage audibly rebuffed the person, and said something like «we’re not that kind of place!»
Finally, the massages themselves are great! A couple of women are outstanding but I’ve not gotten their names unfortunately. Overall: strong, thorough and consistent «walk-​in» massages at a great price.
