Really mixed selection. What they have in the window doesn’t normally reflect what they actually have in the story, which is frustrating and they normally only have one of each size, so once it sells out that’s it. Don’t bother coming here if you’re petite like me, because their stuff tends to be on the bigger side. They regularly have sales, but they’re generally for a small amount and only on a very select number of items. Their jewelry is pretty cute! Will definitely give them that.

All about the sale; zero follow up. I bought a pair of True Religion pants here 8 days ago and left them to have the pockets removed. I was told someone would follow up the next day to give me a timeline. A week and a day later, still nothing. I’m sure they’ve lost my number. I couldn’t remember the name of the store so I had to track it down through my credit card bill. Selection is mixed in terms of quality.

I’m right on with Cara on this one; I love stopping in to see what is on sale, and my big ticket sale item were a pair of James Jeans for $ 45 that fit me perfectly. I, too, could do without ¾ of the sales staff. The alterations were well done, but they take them to NJ, and on one particular event, I came to pick up said jeans, but they hadn’t made it in from NJ. No thanks. But alas, I will continue to go in, stick my headphones in my ears and mind my own business.

How does Item stay open, I ask you? The clothes are 2-star. Not particularly exciting. Generally overpriced. Of limited selection. Once in a while, you’ll find a keeper. But I quickly grew tired of looking, to be honest. The accessories are… not what I’d want to spend that much money on. The sales help have been alternately lovely and pushy as all hell, depending on when I’ve been in. Big point of redemption for Item(it’s the 3rd star, in fact): jeans. When shopping for jeans, I believe in a less-to-choose-from-is-more approach. I bought a favorite pair of Paige jeans here a couple years ago, Item hemmed them for me at no extra fee(not that the jeans were a bargain), and I still love them. Bottom line(s): If Item weren’t around the corner from where I live, I’d probably never go in again. But it is around the corner. So sometimes I stop in on the way home from work to take a peek, for better or for worse.
