Service was great, food delicious and the atmosphere was unique, layered and classic old New York. Well done!

Such a little hidden gem, we loved it here. We were a group from work and got a table for dinner. It was a pretty nice happy hour scene. Our dinner was the pre fix, most of us got the Osso bucco it’s was very good. The atmosphere was unique and the server very attentive. I thought it was a very nice night.

My company has had two events in this location, both in the indoor space and outdoor space. Sri’m s and appetizers. I was not impressed. In the outdoor space the bar itself was sticky and gross, the indoor space was a little better. Much better spaces for events in the area.

Came here for dinner on Friday night. the vibe was cool. the food was good too. service not so much. we had to flag down our waiter several times. I ordered a prosecco with St. Germaine — never got the St. Germaine after sending it back once. oh well, maybe they don’t know what it is.

Stopped in at this restaurant because a coworker mentioned how good the food was. I decided to take her there for lunch for what was her last week with our company. The young lady at the front is so very pleasant and inviting. We sat inside as there was a bit of a chill in the fall air. The inside is pretty stuffy, felt like a cigar room in a way. Unfortunately we sat at a booth where there was a continuous obnoxious racket. And after inquiring, and a little investigation by the staff, we were told it was something with the water pipes. To my surprise we were not offered to move our seats although there were other available seats, we sat there for the duration of our lunch. It was very noisy and distracting. The food was very good and the waitstaff prompt and courteous. Suggestion: perhaps when something like this occurs the manager should make an offering to move seats or something complimentary.

Haven’t really had the food here, but I really enjoy happy hours out here. The bar itself is very spacious and is located right outside of St Bart’s church. Happy hour deals are pretty good here. We usually end up getting a bucket of beers or sipping on a pitcher of Sangria. The white sangria is pretty delicious, I highly recommend it. What I really dislike is the service. It takes forever to get a drink when you’re sitting down at a table or on the couches. If you’re not at the bar waving your arm at the bartenders, they won’t acknowledge you at all. The service is really why we don’t come here more often. Might be back again, not sure. Summer is pretty much done by now. Maybe if it’s a nice day and we’re craving a drink, but otherwise, we’re going to look for another place.

The food is pretty good at Inside Park, but the atmosphere reigns supreme. I arrived on a recent weekday at noon to the sound of the church bells ringing. I made my way up the steps to the patio area next to the beautiful church. It feels like you’ve escaped the hustle and bustle of New York on the patio. I’d imagine at nighttime the atmosphere is even better, with twinkle lights surrounding the area. I highly recommend the fried calamari appetizer. Don’t be fooled by the menu descriptions of «Thai basil» and«sriracha mayo» — it’s not too spicy. The flavors are balanced by the delicious coconut topping and the dish was perfectly crispy as well. Generous portion — it could easily be shared by 3 or 4 people. For my main course I went with the burger and it didn’t disappoint. Classic NY burger fare with a nice cheddar cheese on top. Again, generous portion. It’s a bit pricy here and the food isn’t top-notch, but the atmosphere more than makes this worth a trip.

Want to have a drink on Park ave? Want to watch the world go by? Drink next to a church? Be near to grand central? Then this is your place. Bartenders are awesome. My go to place for an after work drink. Outside next to a church. #churchdrinking

Some friends and I came here for a drink after having dinner and we enjoyed ourselves. Décor: It’s an outside patio right in front of a beautiful church. There are tons of tables and plenty of room to just stand and hang out. It is wildly popular, as you might imagine, with the after work crowd on nice(summer) days/evenings. There are also, at least what appeared to be, several bars to choose from so there wasn’t a bottleneck for getting a fresh beer. Bathroom: I don’t think there is one Staff: Our bartender was kind of a jag when we inquired about the cost of three shots we ordered, but other than that things were fine. Drinks: It’s a(almost) full bar so you can be sure they’ll have what you’re looking for. Additionally, they have a small selection of different beers. Value: It’s a cool spot, so prices are a bit higher. But nothing that will break your wallet. We had a good time and would stop over again if we’re in the area.

The restaurant is located inside a church and they have an outdoor terrace that is very charming. The food is not very exceptional though. I had lunch there a couple of times but was not highly satisfied with my meals(tuna and avocado tartare, black truffle burger, capellini pomodoro). The experience was pleasant because of the service and the décor rather than because of the food. They also have a nice bar at their terrace, which makes it a cool place to get a drink.

Wandered here on a Friday night, now while Midtown East gets pretty dead after work hours, this place was okay. The host informed us upon arrival that they did not have their kitchen open that night, not sure what’s up with that? So it was a drinks only type of night for them I guess, not cool to take away that option from guests. Anyhow it was not packed but it wasn’t empty either, they had good music going and the bartender was really sweet. Drinks are about $ 14 each, non-happy hour(if any) prices. The drinks were good, one was whiskey which was definitely not my type so I won’t rate that, I was told it’s decent. The other was a misty grapefruit drink, a bit on the sour side as the menu states. The women’s bathroom was very small, literally two doors in a hallway and maybe 4×4 area to wash hands. I wouldn’t mind stopping by here to grab a drink after-work, however I’m sure there are other bars in the area with better prices. It’s located right off of park avenue, a bit more tucked in from the wide avenue. It’s a fantastic location for a networking scene. Try making it to the happy hour if they have one!

Inside the Park at St. Bart’s has an amazing location, especially during the summertime if you can get one of the outdoor tables with an umbrella. The servers were very friendly and patient with our requests, which is always appreciated. And the food was definitely decent… I loved the calamari(it was a surprisingly large portion) and the lemon sorbet for dessert, but the truffle burger could use a smaller, softer bun.

Had a meal here for the first time and was a bit apprehensive at first but I must say the, the view is amazing and the service was excellent. Our server, Patrick was super friendly and the food arrived in good time. They did however mess up my meal and bring me the wrong dish but Patrick was so nice about it and they brought me the correct dish in under 10 minutes. The only reason I gave this place 4 stars rather than 5 was because my roasted chicken was a bit on the dry side. However, the calamari is to die for as is the steak frites that my brother ordered. On a nice night I would definitely recommend stopping here.

The food and setting make this place worth the 5 stars. Our party really enjoyed sitting outside and watching the city pass by. Make it a point to stop here.

Situation: 3.5 Stars. To celebrate my last day at the job, two of my colleagues treated me to lunch. I ordered the chopped Asian chicken salad($ 16), while my two co-workers both ordered the truffle burger. Total bill came out to about $ 90-ish. PROS –Good quality: Admittedly the bill was a bit of a splurge for a lunch during the workweek, but it was overall a good experience. My salad was very tasty and dense, and I wasn’t able to even finish the whole thing and walked away feeling very full. The guys said their burgers were superb(one even said it might be the best he’s had in New York!) –Attentive server: Our server – who incidentally looked like Milo Ventimiglia, but I digress – was very enthusiastic and attentive towards our questions and needs. –Nice outdoor space: It was the perfect weather, and they put us in a spot with a decent mix of sun/shade. The patio space looks deceptively small from the street level, but once you go up the stairs you can see the ample seating. CONS –Nothing, besides my usual complaint on priceyness. In a nutshell… I’d probably go again if I happened to be in the area with a co-worker/client or something.

The fact that you can sit outside, enjoy the life passing you by on Park Ave is one reason to come. The service and the food make 2 more: The portions are big, so be hungry when you go. The service was attentive despite being full. If you want to sit outside, be prepared to wait a little, but it is worth it! The Asian chicken with sesame was an amazing and they found chopsticks for me so I was very happy. The tuna tartar was just melt in your mouth, the crab cake was pure crab and the scallops were thick & meaty(a good thing). I heard the happy hour drinks are quite the bankers showcase but not tried it myself. Great venue, so take a chance on it!

Went here for happy hour with a few work colleagues a few days ago. If you’re looking for after-work drinks, something close to this area that’s outside it’s a good spot. Not really a lot of deals though for Happy Hour and the tent makes it very loud to talk. Better spots in this area… No boom.

This is where Jesus goes to party after a long week of smiting unbelievers and sitting in really long prayer meetings. There’s nothing I like more in a church than the ability to have some tasty drinks and a cheese plate while I contemplate the state of my soul.(That contemplation usually leads to more drinks) Inside Park @ St Bart’s lets me do exactly that — there is a restaurant in the old church community building but what you really want is the terrace on a warm sunny afternoon. You can certainly have a meal but the Mister and I were here for a snack and a refreshment. The space itself is really inviting — there are some small couch/lounge areas as well as a full bar plus tables for dining. There’s music(sometimes live) and once you’re here you really don’t feel like you’re smack in the center of Midtown anymore. The wine list is pretty«meh» but the cocktails($ 14) are great. I had a Josephine which was blackberries, St Germaine and champagne — strong, pretty and delicious — just like me. We also had a cheese tray which was fairly small but good quality. The crowd seems to be a lot of UES finance-bros and their Ann Taylor Loft clad companions so don’t show up in shorts, a tweety bird tshirt and a fanny pack. Service was efficient but not particularly friendly. I understand as the typical order went a lot like this: «She’ll have a Pomegranitini and I’ll have a Bullit Rye with 2 ice cubes»(because the horrors of watering down a middling-quality whiskey are real, my friends). St Bart’s does a lot of community outreach, including a food bank located on the other side of the church. I hope the overpriced drinks I consumed help them keep on with their mission of serving needy NY’ers and getting chatches lit up during happy hour.

Stumbled upon this place while in between meetings in midtown and looking for a quick sit down lunch. Must have walked by this restaurant a million times and didn’t even know it was there. Sat for lunch and had a portobello mushroom burger with fries. Great part is they were able to place the order and get it out in less than 10 minutes. In terms of taste, it wasn’t very enjoyable. Mushroom tasted like it was barely cooked and lacked overall flavor. I was hoping for the mushroom to be heavily grilled and have some crisp to it. Unfortunately this wasn’t the case at all. The restaurant itself is nice and has a unique look to it. It looks like a giant hall as it has an open set up. The outside of the restaurant is extremely nice with seating on the outside deck and a bar set up. Makes for a great place to come for a drink or grab lunch in the warmer months. Given how nice the outside is, I’d definitely come back and try another dish while dining outside.

An outdoor bar at a church is an unusual juxtaposition, as is hearing Ke$ha and Pitbull’s opus«Timber» with church bells chiming in, or seeing a group of somewhat tipsy friends say Grace over their dinner. However, all of those quirky combinations work. Is the food at St. Bart’s inspired? Not particularly but it’s good enough and the formidable cocktail menu makes it difficult to make a selection. The crowd is on the preppy side(meaning my sister, my best friend, and I hardly stood out), and stands huddled around the bar all summer, mixing and mingling, or in conversation at the tables. Just make sure that you have a reservation if you would like to sit at a table, especially after work – the happy hour scene is bustling!

Nicht mal ansatzweise hat mein Gaumen sowas leckres in good old Germany erleben dürfen.
