This lounge is really cute and chic. I got the chance to experience my first time there last night to celebrate New Years Eve… But unfortunately got a bad taste in my mouth when I encountered some fishy movements behind the bar. I ordered a drink… $ 13. Okay that was fine. A friend of mine ordered a drink, $ 13 as well. Second round the bartender charged $ 15. We were a bit puzzled and when we asked why the price changed, the bartender said«oh that’s because I included my tip, the other bartender who served you before didn’t do that» excuse me?!? As a bartender myself, you earn your tip. You don’t cheat and add your tip to the bill, and then get a tip on top of that. Sure you will bump into those who would tip poorly or not tip at all… But seriously? Totally unacceptable.

INC is a great spot for several reasons. The décor and cleanliness are up there. The wait to get in is pretty good. It’s clean and a nice layout for an evening out. Recently they’ve been letting people in with jeans(jeans!) and I’m not talking about the clubbing kind… I’m not sure why that is, but they’re losing a star for it. I go to their halloween costume party every year, and the summer masquerade.

Worst lounge I’ve ever been to! Drinks are expensive and if you look next day on your cc statement, they had overcharged you. No dance floor. Manager sucks. Save your time and money, go somewhere else

Did not honor my 40 for 20 deal. Apparently their«system doesn’t support it» also the sound system setup was as distorted as it gets. Would not go back or recommend this place.

Cool place, nice staff, good music and a good voucher. Go with the girls or a date. Good place to make a stop on your way somewhere or to stay.

Horrible. I am a young Hispanic woman and I walked into this place quietly… because it was really quiet. We sat at the bar and tell the bartender about my Unilocal deal. She took my phone so I thought everything was taken care of so I thought. On my way out they stopped me as if I was a criminal on the run and told me I needed to pay my bill. I was naturally confused. The manager came and started talking loudly and asking me to explain my coupon. I don’t give a damn what people think about me but it was so embarrassing. EITHERWAY. I only got 3 shots of tequila for $ 40. Yeah. Oh by the way it’s a fucking hotel bar not a regular lounge.

My friend had a birthday party here and I found the staff to be extremely helpful. I’m pretty nervous about attending hotel bars since I never quite know how the bouncer and waitstaff will be like but overall, they were attentive. The space is tiny but my friend had a deal where there were drink specials up until 8pm. I started out with a merlot wine and then discovered the pink martini that rounded out my night. The pink martini can be dangerous since it was on the sweet side and met some nice people who helped«pace» myself. I think I had about 4 pink martinis that night and ran into some other friends who had pizza with me later that night to tide over the drunkenness. Overall, the space was cute and clean and would come back here for drinks. However, it tends to be more on the romantic side unless someone decides to have an afterwork party there then it gets crowded.

I hosted my birthday drinks here. The waitress and staff were very nice and accommodating. It wasn’t very busy for some reason. It’s a great spot for the over 25 crowd. Top 40 hits, alcohol and great layout for large groups. I felt like I was hosting a chic party at my apartment but better because I didn’t have to clean up afterwards.

Worst service EVER anywhere. Sat for 30 minutes — was asked to move while they set up for a party — obliged — waited 20 more minute — no one at bar to order drink — no waiter ever appeared — this was at 6pm on a week night. I had even called ahead for a reservation with Addison — not that it mattered. I left… will try again. One more thing. I even contacted the reservation to tell them how bad an experience I had — and no one ever replied to reschedule…

I was there for an event and was told that beer was $ 6, wine and mixed drinks $ 7 or $ 8. I didn’t feel like drinking so I ordered a seltzer water, and the bartender nonchalantly charged me SIXDOLLARS. For carbonated WATER? That’s not normal, not even for a «fancy» hotel lounge.

Now I have organized and produced many events both for after work and night life. Chris &AC know the hospitality business. They have everything down to the perfect science. Highly recommended!

Early evening: four stars. Lovely lounge. It is a little off the beaten track, being on the second floor, but worth seeking out. LATE at night: zero stars. The music is WAYTOOLOUD. Great DJ, painful volume. Caveat Emptor. Bring ear plugs.

Been here twice — once for a private event, and one on a random weeknight with a few friends. I left pretty happy both times; the service was consistently quick and attentive, even though the 1st time the place was pretty mobbed with people. The environment is pretty trendy /neat without being too over the top. Cocktails are priced about what you’d expect for a midtown hotel bar(not cheap, but not 230 fifth rooftop pricing either). They do have music playing, but luckily it’s not overpowering and you can sit at a table and chat it up with your party. A true«lounge» atmosphere. The last time I went, they messed up my tab and accidentally overcharged me by 1 drink. I expected them to simply take the extra drink off and run the card. Nope — in addition to removing the charge, they actually threw in an extra drink on the house as a way of apologizing. Kudos, Inc Lounge. Customer service done right. The place doesn’t seem to get overly crowded after happy hour, so it’s worth stopping by if you’re in the area

Pretty cool hotel bar. Came here on St. Patrick’s since it was part of the pub crawl. Originally we planned to stay here for a few drinks but we ended up staying here for 2+ hours. We were able to get a couch in the corner as most of the people were at the bar. It was too busy for the bartenders to come to us for orders but once we placed our orders, our bartender would bring the drinks over. She was definitely running all over the place as she was the only bartender but props to her for getting everything done! The bouncers were also very friendly and even though there were a lot of drunk idiots with all the Jameson flowing everywhere, they kept their cool and patience with everyone! Music’s not bad, good mix of top 40. Can’t say much about the price since there was a special for Jameson so that’s all we had that day but a chill and relaxing lounge in the Theater District!

Price: N/A Highlight: Cozy, Intimate setting There is white wine, red wine and nooo blush wine which was slight sadness for me… Time Lounge is a nice cozy lounge, not much of a dance floor but enough couches for around 5 or 6 separate ‘parties’ of people. I went once on a Saturday where they had a great dj and dancing tourists and another night when it was quieter, no dj — a great chance to enjoy your company undisturbed.

A standard NYC hotel bar with a swanky vibe. The ambiance was dark and intimate and the martinis were $ 15. No complaints here because they let us use our travelzoo voucher. The dirty dirty martini was made just right and came with blue cheese stuffed olives, my fav! I was expecting a dirtier martini by the name but it was served just dirty in my opinion. The pomegranate margherita was good as well… not too sweet, the way I like it. Happy hour is from 5 to 8 and cocktails are 2 for 1. Not too shabby for the theatre district!

I found myself at The Time Hotel’s lounge for a happy hour event recently. First of all, keep an eye out for the entrance. It is not big and it certainly is not as magnificent and grandiose as I expected it to be; I walked from 8th to Broadway only to realize that I missed the hotel in its entirety. I walked in and I was pleasantly surprised by the chandeliers, black and white speakeasy décor, and glass-vault like elevator. It was quite the contrast from its not-so-impressive entrance. I made my way to the 2nd floor and everything just hit rock bottom from there on out. The absolute first thing I noticed were the waitresses/bartenders in their tiny black skirts and see-thru camisoles. They were a complete downgrade from the hotel’s reputation, which led my colleagues and I to think that The Time Hotel wasn’t as glamorous as the rest of the Theater District. We could tell that they were attempting to toy with the classy-esque vibe but the presentation and delivery were poorly executed. None of the bartenders looked a day over 21 and all of them wore a red rouge that was shades too dark for their complexion. I am a firm believer that the overall image of any venue, whether it be a restaurant, bar, or lounge, is set by its servers. The bartenders at the hotel’s lounge were a bit scantily dressed for my liking and crossed over to the cheap and the tacky. Secondly and more importantly, the event hosted approximately 20 – 25 people but it was overwhelmingly uncomfortable and overcrowded. There certainly weren’t enough seats and it was virtually impossible to go from one end of the lounge to the other without spilling my drink on a higher-up’s nicely hemmed suit. I don’t mind being in a crowded, tightly enclosed bar but to be that up close and personal with execs and directors was not appealing in any way. I do not think I’ll be going back to The Time Hotel’s 2nd floor lounge.

I was here last night to use my Gilt City voucher for Margarita tastings. They had a few different flavors(regular, strawberry, raspberry, and watermelon). However, I’d have to say that overall, the margaritas were just OKAY. Nothing spectacular. I couldn’t tell if they were just using premade margarita stuff or if it was actually freshly made. The drinks had a good amount of alcohol in them. The lounge was really empty. It was a tuesday night, but it was the last day of the voucher. When i had called in, the guy said to come early because it might get crowded and we might not be able to sit down to drink because everyone would be coming in to redeem their vouchers. It was far from that as there were only 3 couples in the whole establishment. The waitress/bartender was really on top of it and came around several times to ensure we could order or get us another round. We ordered a shrimp cocktail for $ 16. I guess i expected a palate of shrimp at that rate. But, we had 6 med sized pieces of shrimp hanging off a martini glass. A bit overpriced in my position, but I guess by my quick perusal of the menu, everything was a solid $ 2 – 4 more than it should be.(i.e., appetizer pizzas=$ 16, Corona=$ 9). It was a cool place to come on a tuesday night. Maybe it’s a good place for a quick drink before waiting for Book of Mormon(next door) to start. However, I don’t think it was anything spectacular to go to.

I went for the launch party of Trovis.Net. First of all, the elevator is a beautiful touch. I gotta say they earned points just for that. As for the venue itself, the main room is VERY good looking. I really liked it a lot. However, wasn’t so crazy about the back room. The artwork was about the only good shit back there(well, and the mirrors). I didnt try any drinks, because it was a week night and I try not to drink if I dont have to(and especially in a midtown spot to get banged out). Overall, I’d like to try it again for a special event, but not sure if I would go on a regular night.

OhhHhhh 200! I went here for a friend’s birthday and it’s pricey, but really nice — I like it! It’s on the 2nd floor of the Time Hotel and you go up in a glass elevator(oohh– FANCY!) Once you reach the lounge there’s ample couches and tables to sit and chill. It’s a bit dark and it was nice since it wasn’t too crowded. There’s also a room in back for private parties — it can hold about 30 or so people. The drinks are bit pricey — $ 14 for a martini. I had the pear martini with grey goose and it was really good. It was one of those drinks that you can’t really taste the alcohol, but it’ll get you messed up(which is what happened to me). The service was attentive — our server came to us on a regular basis, but then again it wasn’t too crowded. There was dj spinning some good music and it was different variety too. So, we made our own little dance floor. Haha. This would be a cool place to chill with a small group of friends(which was the case when I went) or even to go on a date. But, I wouldn’t come here on a regular basis it’s too pricey and as I’ve mentioned before I’m still a poor grad student.
