Hoffman Management

I have lived in a Hoffman building for the past 8 months. My experience has been great thus far. They are responsible, professional and courteous. Any time I have a request the super shows up quickly, and the management rep Luis has always been incredibly responsive and helpful. I think they may have a reputation for managing more inexpensive apartments, but the quality of service & attentiveness has been just as good as I’ve had anywhere else. The people I’ve spoken with in my building have been living here for several years and even say rent increases (if any) have been reasonable.
I hate to see a good company have a single bad review on Unilocal.In my experience, they work hard to provide good service. So far I don’t have a single complaint about them. The building itself could use a slight facelift in the hallways and the exterior, but I think that is for the owner to do.

baaaaad landlords!!! Yes, they have cheaper larger apartments. however John the management rep is an AWFUL person to deal with. They have one super for like 10 buildings, and have paint peeling off the walls in the hallways. The shaftway is filled with garbage that they refuse to clean. Stay away. it may be tempting but it’s just not worth the aggravation and its just bad. bad. bad. bad. Any complaint you may have. tey will threaten to raise the «legal» rent.
