Delicious pizza and excellent customer service! I ordered 12 boxes of large pizzas to be delivered during snowy conditions and the manager, Scott, was very helpful, friendly, and patient. Highline pizza is the best!

Grandma pizza is the best pizza I’ve ever had in my entire life. I’ve let the owner know this and I mean it. I’m thankful to the point of tears that this location is so close to my apartment. I usually like to try out new menu items at places I visit regularly, but the Grandma pizza here is so good that I refuse to defer from it. Ingredients are obviously very fresh and service is so friendly.

Have a pizza craving? This place sure will hit the spot! I’ve been here several times with my girlfriend and have always had a pleasant experience. It’s a little bit out of the way, but perfectly located if you live on the far west side of Chelsea or are coincidentally walking on the high line around 28th. My particular favorite is their Grandma slice but you can’t go wrong with a plain ol’ cheese slice! I also love the meatball parm hero and chicken parm hero. Both of which they make fresh on the spot. It’s a tiny pizzeria with ~8−10 bar-like seating, so perfect for takeout or a quick bite. Super friendly staff and small perk. they take major credit cards for all of you plastic warriors(no minimum to my knowledge).

Excellent pizza. They care about what they make without being precious about it. It is artisanal in the true sense of the word.

Tiny place that’s a bit out of the way(unless you’re by the Highline) but the pizza is damn good and the price can’t be beat. The people who work there are ridiculously nice too. Try the grandma slice(like other reviewers say). It’s awesome. Great sauce, great crust, probably my favorite slice of pizza in the city.

Great pizza, great price, great location I thought that such a touristy spot would have sky high prices, but that was not the case at all. We paid $ 15 for a large cheese pizza. If I could eat the entire pie, I would have. But fortunately for me, I had a late night snack/lunch for the next day. My only comment is that they could have cooked it for a bit longer — but that is something that I as the customer should have suggested. Staff was very nice and catered quickly to their customers. The place is SOO small so don’t expect to sit down and eat there **Updated!** I tried their chicken and meatball parm hero — and they are both AMAZING. They made it fresh right when I ordered it. I have had 2 different types of chicken in the chicken parm(grilled slices and 1 big fried piece). I like the single fried piece, but both are amazing.

Lapin and I came here before the Javits Center. The restaurant wasn’t very noticeable from across the street, so we had searched for it on our GPS. The small pizzeria is located right under the HighLine which makes it convenient. When we entered, there wasn’t anyone in there. They had a couple of seats line against the walls and the counter but it could feel packed if more than five people are in there at a time. Lapin and I got two plain slices, a Grandma slice, and a Margherita slice with two sodas to guzzle it all down. The pizza was tasty, a bit tastier than the average tasting pizzeria slices but not as great as brick oven pizza. We had to wait around 10 to 15 minutes for them to heat up the slices before we could pick it up from the counter. The guys who gave us our pizza was friendly but the cashier was annoyed that we didn’t leave a tip. Given this is a small local pizzeria and we got our order to go, picked up and ordered our slices, and paid in a separate location, I have never normally left a tip in a situation like this. Perhaps, this is the norm and I am at fault but I still didn’t think I deserved attitude for that.

This is my favorite pizza in the city. I am from Miami and make frequent visits to NYC, during one of these visits I came across this Pizzeria as I was visiting the Highline park and it has since been a must every time I am in town. This past weekend I even made my wife bring a pie back to Miami for me since she was in NYC. There is no questions they use high quality ingredients as is evidence by the perfect taste and texture of the the cheese on every slice. I have made it a point to try various NYC pizzerias and this one is the best I have had no question. They have a nice variety of specialty slices but the plain cheese is my go to. This place is a must if you are close by or visiting the Highline, grab a pie with some friends and take it to one of the benches on the Highline and enjoy the wonderful view.

I think Highline Pizza’s saving grace is their location. It’s conveniently located right below the High Line, so it was easy for us to grab a slice and then head up to walk the line. However, I was very underwhelmed by their pizza. It had a lot of toppings, which I am always a fan of, but it was just mediocre all around. It also was quite a wait for a slice of pizza, which usually means it would be fresh and delicious… again, pretty underwhelmed. What was also disappointing was that there was no AC. In the New York summer heat, and with such a tiny pizzeria, having sufficient air flow and cooling is a must have. I would have preferred going to the Hudson Farmers Market across the street for a snack and an escape from the heat.

Incredibly disappointed. Needed a quick but good dinner near the High Line with my family. Read good things about the pizza here on Unilocal(which I always trust). Service was quick(although the girl taking our order couldn’t seem to remember/understand what drinks we wanted) but the quality was very poor. Pizza looked like it had been sitting for a while and didn’t have much flavor at all. Chicken sandwich featured a very crispy, heavily breaded chicken with pesto that I saw came from a squirt bottle. Won’t be back and won’t be recommending.

Efficient use of tight quarters. This joint clearly caters to the surrounding apartments and the high line strollers. Slices, Dr. Brown, just what you’d expect. Decent pizza.

Ordered a large pepperoni for $ 20 flat. The tomato sauce was good but the dough was too soft and thick. Could’ve been crisper. I personally enjoy my pizza with a very thin layer of dough. Otherwise the staff was very nice and polite. They made sure we had plates and napkins since it was to-go.

This pizza was excellent. Crustier and more complex of flavors than what I think of as traditional NY pizza, and with more of an olive oil flavor. Seemed more rustic, perhaps? Super satisfying, though, and I’m glad I tried it. I’ll be back!

Really good pizza at an awesome location too! I wanted to get individual slices and they had a good selection of pizzas out. I got a slice of white pizza and BBQ chicken to go. Both did not disappoint. They probably would’ve tasted even better if I had eaten them inside, but the store is pretty small and there was only enough seats for only a few people.

Excellent classic NY pizza with a nice and crisp crust, great sauce, and good quality mozzarella. Garlic knots were excellent too. Based on the food alone 5⁄5 rating. We had a rough delivery experience that threw off our work schedule but the owner was helpful and kept us updated. I would definitely order from here again.

I just moved into the neighborhood and am happy to have found this place. The pizza(we ordered a margherita pizza) was very good. Good quality mozzarella, perfect amount of basil, and a very good chunky tomato sauce. My only complaint at this time was that I ordered through to pick up in store and never received a confirmation as to how long until it would be ready. After 30 minutes I called to find out if my order had been received and they told me that it was ready. I wonder how long it would have sat there, though, if I hadn’t called.

Really great slice of plain pizza from a small and unassuming pizza joint. The location has very limited counter seating so I would not bank on eating with a large crowd, or a fancy dinner. However, perk is that they are very close to the High Line. Buy a pie, and bring it up to the High Line for a nice view and al aire dining.

Not gonna lie, I have pretty high standards when it comes to a good ol’ NYC style pizza and this particular pizzeria doesn’t disappoint. I recently moved into the neighborhood and I have been at Highline Pizza far more times than I’d care to admit. It’s a small small space with a few bar stools to sit on if you want to enjoy your slice inside the pizzeria, but you can tell that it’s very clean. You won’t feel like you’re eating in a broken down corner pizza joint. One downside though, it can be a bit hot inside, especially during peak summer, since the ovens emanate a lot of heat. Their pizza crust is thin and crunchy. And their sicilians are bomb! I also really like their chicken rolls, which is only $ 5. No joke, it’s a foot long. And I don’t know why, but their red pepper flakes are spicier than usual. Beware. Also, I would not venture out all the way to 10th Avenue just to try their pizza. It is a quick solution for tourists who are on the way to the Highline or for construction workers slaving away on the Hudson Yards or for people who live in the area.
