Fantastic, flavorful and fast. What a great cart. 5 of us ate for 27 $(without drinks). The falafel gyro was great– one of the best I’ve had. They also have Philly cheese steak sandwiches. Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a quick bite on the way to MOMA.

Ended up eating here twice in the week I was in town. Partially because it was a couple blocks from where I was taking a class for work, but mostly because the food was super yummy, filling, and only $ 5! What a bargain in a city(and a part of the city specifically) not known for many bargains.

5 ***** restaurant? Well, this is a 5***** cart. If you are a hungerman, this is the cart to go to. I have been going here for years, maybe over a decade This place gives you a LOT of meat. so much meat that it’s falling off. The meat is not dry or burned, plus it has just the right amount of lettuce & tomatoes. None of that beets or relish like some other carts. Didn’t know about the ribeye. Will definitely try that next week.

THEYSERVERIBEYESTEAKFROM A CART? OH, IT’S TRUE! I know this place all too well. This cart is right outside the Sony Wonder Atrium. Their spicy rice is quite good, if I do say so myself. $ 4.50 gets you a sammich, $ 6 for a platter. The food is made to order, griddle style. What I usually order: –Kofta($ 4.50/$ 6) — 2 mini burger patties full of zesty spices, I was told the key here is nutmeg, go figure –Rib Eye($ 7.50) — i know, right? I couldn’t believe my eyes either until he whipped it out and slapped it over the griddle, then chopped it up into cubes w/his spatula after it was cooked, this actually tasted like gourmet street meat, never had white and hot sauce over a steak before, sinfully luxurious! –Fish($ 4.50/$ 6) — 2 huge pcs of battered fish, deep fried to order, wonderfully crispy texture on the outside, choice of pita/hero for sammich

No Egyptian sausage, but they use dark meat chicken and they use more oil, so the chicken is a little more crispy. Additionally, they have lamb, which the NW corner Halal truck does not have. The guys aren’t as friendly as the NW corner guys, but crispy dark meat chicken and lamb goes a long way in this town.
