Great work, modestly priced. Very happy all round. And they are opening up an ice cream area within the store soon too — what a win!

These guys are amazing. Brought in 7 prints. Three days later everything was matted/framed and ready to go. The best part is that Mohammed calls you and leaves the most incredibly thorough message about when /where and how you can pick up your artwork. It’s delightful. He also gave me a substantial discount because I framed a number of items. One star off because it was a tad bit shoddy in terms of finding the right stuff and we were there for well over an hour. Sweet guy. Great service. Everyone is friendly. The vibe is Harlem. So, don’t be in a rush. But, most of all be kind. Mom and pop places like this with incredible customer service are a rarity.

Took a piece of art in for framing on Friday the 3rd, paid in advance and we were told the art would be ready on Friday the 10th at 2.30pm. I called at 3pm and was told they would call me back. They did not. We called again today, the 11th and again we were told they would call back in 15 minutes. 30 minutes later they did call(late, but at least this time they did what they promised) Turned out they did not have the art ready, the glass had not come in… so I guess the need to tell us this is beyond their abilities… so we cancelled the charge and got out art back. I worry about ANY company that cannot keep it’s promises. I understand that people/companies make mistakes, but this, coupled with the fact they are opening a yogurt bar in the shop(because yea, I want sticky yogurt on my art) makes me worry that they’ll be out of business any time now. The owner even said how worried he was… I guess that there is good reason to worry. EDIT: 8÷5÷2014 Just received a call from the owner wondering why he had received a charge back. I hung up on him as the call, like the company, is a waste of time. It’s been 3+ weeks since we got our art back from them and he just now realized? Our credit card company closed the case a few weeks ago. Do yourself a favor, don’t use this place as I strongly believe that they will be out of business soon and you don’t want to lose your art when they close.

Really nice work & cheap prices too! Honest business! I requested a frame that would take 2mos to order, they framed it wonderfully and were honest & trustworthy. Great framing job!

I really like this place, but they need to be more transparent in their pricing. After making my selections, I have to hope that they hit the right buttons on the calculator. Once I took a picture to be matted, and another time I took two. They charged $ 20 both times. When I tried to use a coupon, they said that they had already given me 20 percent off, so that was a better deal.(I was like, 20 percent off what? You just wrote down a number!) They do a beautiful job with matting and framing, but I always wonder whether I’m paying a fair price.

I love this local frame shop! I work with George there and he is so sweet and helpful and offers great selection of frames and advice. I was framing a gift and he suggested a double matte box which just brought the photos and frame alive. And I picked the most excellent one of a kind frame for a poster which i dont think i would have found anywhere else. Plus George is very considerate and fair regarding pricing — if anything I think his prices are too good to be true and like to give a little extra. He even did a little work on a frame for me for free. Please check it out and give this great local company some business!!!

The gentlemen that work here have always been great at helping me to pick out nice frame designs for all of my unframed art. I had some prints by Aaron Potts that were gorgeous by themselves but really came to life after the TLC received at H&M. Its important to me to introduce my kids to the whole wide world, including but not limited to culture, art and our community. The two men dont seem to mind their presence and are actually tickled by my children pulling my hand in different directions from painting to painting saying«I love THISONE, mommy!» The art displayed in H&M gives me an opportunity to explain soooo many things about life, people and love to them and also to myself. We always have a cool experience in their store and I was overjoyed when they reopened the store for me at closing time on Christmas Eve. I promised to have«Puppy Love» by Kadir Nelson under the Xmas tree and thanks to H&M, it was! The price range varies. There are some items for less than $ 100 and then there are items as ornate as chandeliers for a few thousand. Sometimes we buy and sometimes we just enjoy the view. Theyre always really inviting either way.
