One Sunday afternoon, a couple of friends and I visited Grand Glass Gallery. The owner approached us and provided insight to the glass pieces – materials used, methods behind its craft, and where it came from. Often she referred the glass blowers by their name. It’s also great to see real works of art.
We were in the market for a water piece. She presented us options based on our budget, aesthetic, and ideal case use. While we decided against purchasing the most expensive, the HVY Glass that the owner recommended, has provided endless amount of joy. The size, weight, and balance of this piece is amazing. We will certainly come again and will probably purchase gifts… we know the pieces here are unique and aren’t easy to mass produce or replicate.
She knows her stuff too beyond glass. We also appreciate that local businesses like these add to the neighborhood’s friendly and vibrant attitude. Thank you Grand Glass Gallery, we will certainly come again… and again.
