Nice coffee house with plenty of seating and wifi. It reminds me of the days of yore when coffee houses were young. Now they are either small, have no wifi or are Starbucks. I will be coming here more in the hopes that it will continue in this vein. Did I mention the coffee is great? And I drink it black!

Really delicious food! I’ve been there 10+ times and haven’t ever ordered something I didn’t like. I initially ranked it with 4 stars only because a few items seem overpriced, but I’m definitely decided on 5 stars to(hopefully) give them a small bump on the overall average! I was shocked to see so many poor reviews. In particular, I think if anyone’s had bad experience with the service, it must be a total issue of language barrier or just a packed house, with employees trying to serve everyone asap. Pros: –the food is great(both pre-prepared and cooked in the kitchen) –nice big seating area to eat(with waiter service) and relax/work(without the grossness of Starbucks) –cute little benches outside! Cons: –some items overpriced –seating area is often filled with people, so it could be hard to find a spot, especially if you’re in a group

This place used to be a great option for a quick breakfast when I lived in the neighborhood. I just stopped in for breakfast on a visit and it was not a pleasant experience. The staff was rude and seemed confused at everything we asked(«A large black coffee please,» «What size???»). We asked for a Mediterranean omelet with no olives. The woman asked more than once to repeat the order, then wrote down«no oils.» We repeated, «no olives,» which she wrote down. We looked for a table but none of the empty ones had been bused so we took our food to go. We got home and of course, the omelet was full of olives. Our mistake for not checking first. Oh well, last time eating here for sure.

Spacious coffee shop with lots of food options. Not a lot of outlets nor comfy furniture holding it back from 5 stars

These people are so rude and nasty. I have just move into the neighbor and wanted to try the local coffee place. My first experience was mediocre at best, with nothing but lack luster service, I must say that alot of the workers don’t speak english. My second experience was worst, they did not ask me what type of milk I wanted in my latte which when asked there was a surcharge, which i had no problem with but they were not willing to take my credit card for extra 75 cent. Clearly i did not have cash on me and the cashier expected me to go back home to get 75 cent for her. They place is horrible!

Very nice lunch spot. Food was priced well and service was good. Nice place to go get a latte and read a book or get a quick bite. I had a turkey panini that was really good. They make healthy smoothies and salads. Recommend this place.

Today I came in and ordered what I usually ordered. I’m really sick of this place because for any little thing they are trying to over charge. I asked for a bagel and iced chai tea with low ice because what they love to do is fill up the cup with ice and barley give you any of the actual drink. The lady at the cash register than tells me it’s an additional charge if I request no ice. Which is absolutely ridiculous, anyway she tells me the total is 8 something and then goes never mind it’s 9 something. There should be no reason why an ice chai should cost 6.25 when at the end of the day all she did was put some milk and all the chai was sitting at the bottom. Also on their menu it says the ice chai is 4.48, I understand of additional tax but I’ve bought this ice chai before and it did not cost more that 5.50. I told her how it didn’t make sense and all she tells me is she’s going to give me the receipt. The receipt didn’t explain to me anything. All it said was my total was 9.50. Not even at Starbucks is a large chai more than 5 dollars. I was even more annoyed that she was giving me an attitude. I go there every morning and I never get not even a smile from any of the employees, they always have an annoyed expression and it makes me really not ever want to go back. The only reason I gave just an additional star is because their bagels are decent but other than that

Great place! The atmosphere was very nice, the healthy food selection was awesome and the food was delicious as well! I was a little in happy when 2 out of the 3 things I ordered weren’t available to me. The juice machine was out of order and they weren’t offering waffles for some reason on that day. Everything else was great!

I’ve been here a few times and really enjoyed it. I like their thin style bagels and their paninis are great. Last time had the Chipotle Chicken Panini. It was delicious! I had half immediately and reheated the other half 2 days later and it still tasted great! I would not recommend coming here if your in a hurry. Everything is prepared after you order it so it takes a little while to get your food.

Great coffee, large variety of good food(bagels, eggs, salads, pastries), and AFFORDABLE. The atmosphere is also great bc they put on some good music. The café is a bit hidden because of the Q train construction, but still it’s easy to find. I’ve been going to this place for 4 – 5 months, and I’m going to miss it.

Contrary to their hours on Google, they close at 5:30 on Sundays, not at 7. Would be frustrating but acceptable if they posted hours on their door and I had just failed to notice, but they don’t do that either(the Sunday hours are peeled off), so when the barista rudely told all the patrons(and I was not the only one sitting there expecting to be able to work until 7) that we needed to leave RIGHTNOW, I was a little annoyed. Their management should really work on making sure that their hours are clearly noted online, especially if they’re not going to post them anywhere else. I was so excited to find a café with lots of seating, but I’d rather go somewhere that will stay open when they say they will. The tea I got was unremarkable, and I’m not going to go back to support a place that can’t be bothered to tell their customers when they’re going to kick them out, or even be polite about it when they do so.

The coffee here is amazing! Came here on a Friday afternoon hoping to get some work done on my iPad and have a cup of java and to my amazement it isn’t your typical coffee shop. They offer an amazing assortment of baked goods and food. The coffee is strong and they have quite the variety of flavors. The place is clean, cozy and quiet. The server/barista was very nice. I will definitely keep coming back.

Disappointed. Somewhat cute inside, window seating with pillows & cute tables. Food wasn’t good. The strawberry yogurt is VERY sweet and they served turkey bacon when the menu only described it as «bacon» — deceiving.

I am going to give this place 4 ½ stars. I got a Pumpkin Cold Brew which was awesome(You can taste the pumpkin!) and one of the specials of the day. The special was a California omelette on a English Muffin. The food is spot on. The only thing that kinda bugs me is the staff. When I went up to the counter they were not that friendly and I felt almost like I was a nuisance for even ordering! Which is a weird feeling to have. Granted. it’s a Friday morning. it can get busy. but a little kindness goes a long way. Other than that MINOR detail this place is cool and it will become my new favorite coffee spot.

I’ve been coming here for awhile now and seem to get the same experience every time. The individuals at the counter who take the order always seem to be miserable or just look annoyed. The staff who prepare the food/coffee are friendly. The coffee is great and there’s a lot of different choices. The food is quite delicious as well. always find myself getting some type of egg sandwich. However, their yogurt parfait lacks granola and fruits. Too much yogurt and not enough granola or fruits. Good spot to come in for some basic meals

I ordered a soy latte here one cold New York morning. It was super hot, which I didn’t mind so much, but the worst part was that it was probably 90% milk, 10% espresso. The ratio was terrible. And I know I am not exaggerating, because my sister ordered a chai latte, and she had the same problem(see Christine V.‘s review below). It was WAY too much milk and barely any tea.

I came here on a whim because my sister needed some coffee to start off her day. I went ahead and ordered a chai tea latte since I’m not really a coffee person. The chai came out in a timely manner and was piping hot. I took a sip when it cooled down a bit and was really taken aback by just how sweet it was. They definitely went overboard with the milk because I didn’t get too much of a chai taste. It was still good but more chai and less milk next time, please! It almost felt like I was drinking just cinnamon milk for a while haha.

This is a local place and they come in and settle in. Go for it. The bagels are stacked, so don’t be surprised if your plain bagel tastes something like an everything bagel. It is small, but I heard it is much larger than the original which was really more of just a coffee shop. Service was okay, water was only room temperature in a miniscule cup. It really was just okay, nothing special.

I like this place. it’s not terrible and it’s pretty cheap! it’s not exactly deserving of 4 stars just because I think the food can still improve. the frontega chicken panini was pretty flavorful but lacked a bit of moisture. the chicken was a little on the drier side but it was still tasty and it was a big portion. they cut it in 4 pieces so it looks like it’s piled on the plate. it had it’s high moments with the pesto spread and the mozzarella cheese though. my brother had the special of the day which was a philly cheesesteak which didn’t look like a cheesesteak by any means. it really just looked like meat in between bread but it smelled good and my brother liked it. this is definitely a meeting spot for new moms though because at lunch time the strollers PACK the restaurant. which is a little annoying but that’s the upper east side for you. entitled new moms who think their double strollers deserve a place in the middle of the café where it’s most inconvenient. the actual café was cute and just a good meeting spot in general to grab lunch and chill. I’d probably come back here again to try the rest of their sandwiches.
