I love this store. It’s claustrophobic with all things Chinese red and gold couplings, lanterns, stationary, calendars and decorative decals. This can be your one-stop shop place for paper goods for Chinese New Year sans the crisp moolah — that you still need the bank. Wink. Great prices. Shop local and mom & pop. Preserve old traditions. Make this place a must-visit!

A narrow Chinese stationery store yet crammed with greeting cards, New Year’s decorations of Fung Shui door banners; Fung Shui charms to red envelopes to lanterns, to pens to Hello Kitty stationery of diary’s, notebooks, pens plus more! There are even old fashion air mail envelopes, whereas sadly email and FB make writing letters obsolete. Traditional Chinese Cantonese that continues to exist today in a Western metropolitan, New York 2010 era, which is one of Chinatown’s little jewels. This little stationery store is one I’ve often patronized as a young child(and now as adult) strengthening my beloved fond memories of Hong Kong. Patrons will be taken to Hong Kong without leaving the country or requiring a U.S. Passport for a traditional culture exploration. Price can range from moderate to pricey, depending on the item. I recommend Good Field Trading Company for all your Lunar New Year’s needs: red envelopes, lanterns, door banners, greeting cards, etc.

This is one of those old fashioned chinatown places that’s still around even till today. Situated right across from Chinatown’s Ten Ren, this little stationary offers lots of chinese style souvenirs. Everytime I pass this place, I have the feel of chinatown with its decorate of red and gold chinese firecrackers. Great place for tourist to just get a sense of the culture. This place has lots of stuff that you cant find elsewhere, such as fax machine paper. Really reliable. Great place to shop, to tour and to savor chinatown.
