a one and done visit many many years ago. Goldberg was a boorish revolting pig of a human being, he was appalling. my teeth were in pretty bad shape, and this miscreant made me feel like a lesser human being because of that. Holistic practice, does not of necessity equate to holistic human being. he’s vile, and i also, would give him a negative integer rating if that were possible. find a human being and go elsewhere, folks…

or How I Learned To Choose My Healthcare Practitioner With Greater Care… Call me a weirdo but I was excited to go to the dentist. I needed a checkup bad, had a broken amalgam filling and some really old composite fillings, and just really needed a cleaning. Now I didn’t know too much but had been hearing that amalgam fillings leach mercury vapor, and a broken one is worse. I also have a health problem that’s now being linked to mercury exposure and is seriously affecting my quality of life, sooo… How excited was I to find this dude. Most dentists will tell you«mercury is fine and there are no studies showing otherwise…» but this guy has those scary studies on his website! And I was able to get in the next day without an appointment… hmm… Well, my experience in the office started out great. I told Doc G all of the above and he didn’t say too much, but he advised a special(out of my budget) vitamin c treatment post-op, and seemed to ask intelligent questions. Then without warning someone else showed up to do the work, and I had to ask him who he was. He seemed nice enough and told me my gums needed work(darn, but good to know.) His touch seemed rough at times, and when I told him the new filling was too big for my bite, he drilled off the excess leaving what I later found out was an exposed nerve… No problem. The part that didn’t sit well was learning afterward they didn’t use simple measures to reduce exposure to mercury dust and vapor while drilling out my old filling. Apparently these can be as simple as paper gowns and disposable plastic face shields for all involved, or a damp paper towel over the patient’s nose and eyes. There wasn’t even a paper cover on the exam chair. Save a tree? This guy gave the impression that he was knowledgeable in this area, and I trusted him. The more I read about exposure to mercury, the less I want to have been breathing it and having it all over my eyes, nose, hair, and clothing, especially because of my existing health problem. Thanks for having my back, not so much.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. It was such a bad experience that it’s taken me almost a year to try another dentist. The dental hygenist was extremely rough and flossed my teeth like she was trying to saw through my gums. I’m one of those weird people who typically loves going to the dentist because I love the feeling of clean teeth. After this experience, I finally realized why some people are terrified of the dentist. I’m shocked that this place even has clients. To make matters worse, when the hygenist finished cleaning my teeth, Dr. Goldberg didn’t even come in to look at them.
