This show was hilarious. I was crying with laughter by the end, which rarely happens to me. Each of the four actors are stupendous in their roles. The unraveling of their personalities is priceless. I highly recommend checking out this show.

I have lived in this city for 10+ years and for the first time I actually feel like I am living and experiencing New York for all it is worth. A unique opportunity to showcase a small ability of mine got me lined up with GOC as I supply a specific prop to the production. Honestly, when I sat down with my friend in the theatre for our viewing(which was around opening with the original NYC cast: Gandolfini, Harden, Davis & Daniels) I was not sure if it would be my thing. I had only just been to my first Broadway play a couple months prior(Young Frankenstein! wow!!) and was not sure if the dark-comedy drama was my thing. Why was I being so cynical? 20 minutes in the sour taste in my mouth was abated and it settled in as a very snarky and honest tale. After leaving the the theatre, it really sunk in that that was a fantastic performance and story that I would recommend to anyone that doesn’t mind sitting in the dark cramped next to strangers for about an hour and a half(as there is no intermission) and likes to laugh out loud at intelligent and scathing humor. Oh and the stark RED stage is simply stunning as well as the lighting design.

It’s like a ticking time bomb. Everything starts off with a sense of almost tedious civility, but the beauty of the show is watching everyone disintegrate into their base natures, and then revelling in the carnage that ensues. All courtesy of a shared bottle of rum, inflamed tempers, and a healthy helping of vomit(thank you Lucy Liu).
