Glenn Ngan, DDS

Dr Ngan is extremely gentle, polite and quite knowledgeable. He teaches graduate dentists at NYU. That speaks for itself about his background and expertise. His office is caring and efficient. i have never had to wait more than a day for an appointment. It is always a pleasure to see them. Dr. Ngan is very friendly and most helpful. He and his patient carefully discuss his suggestions before he proceeds. The office takes insurance plans. And his price for those of us without insurance is very reasonable. I highly recommend Dr. Ngan’s services to my friends and family.

I’m not quite sure what the other reviewer was referring to, but Dr. Ngan has been my Dentist for more than 7 years. Each time I have gone there, he has been prompt and polite. The staff is very caring and thoughtful. The quality of service is superb. I cannot say enough good things about he and his staff

Dr Ngan’s office is a fee for service clinic. The name really speaks for itself, it is a «SUPER fee for little service».
He put up false advertisement everywhere, just looked at this Unilocal one, which he claims: «In 2003, Dr. Ngan merged his practice with Drs. Penelope and Henry Chang». The truth is since I was a patient of Dr. Henry Chang, he passed away suddenly from a heart attack, and his daughter Dr. Penelope, who could not speak Chinese, just could not survive in China town. So, Dr. Ngan brought the office from them, there is no merging. It is just plain false advertisement to claim there is history in Dr. Ngan’s practice. Most patients like me had discontinued the treatment after receiving bad service with a jacked up price from Dr. Ngan.
I had tried a crown with Dr. Ngan 2 years ago since it is near my apartment and I was hoping I could have gotten good service since he advertised everywhere in China town and on the radio.
Oh! What a mistake!!! I was in so much pain afterward. The most nightmares I had with dental service for over 30 years. I called him the next day about my pain and swollen gum, he said to me everyone have pain after the procedure. Gosh! He called himself «painless dentist», I think he should be called «HEARTLESS dentist»
Afterward I learned that Dr. Ngan has build up a reputation for money sucker in the industry, and he spend thousands of dollars to put himself on radio interview to put up false advertisement.
I hope you would not be suffering from his service like me. Beware!
