Ivan T Lee, DDS

I’ve had two root canals before and 5 other fillings. I’m super scared of the dentist and never want to go get my cleanings.
He is by far the best dentist I’ve ever been to. My health insurance doesn’t fully cover him, but he’s worth the money.

Full disclosure: I know Dr Ivan Lee outside of his dental practice. He and I workout at the same place and is such a funny and generous guy that I switched my dentist to hang out with him. He’s been my dentist for two years now and as long as he keeps me laughing without resorting to nitrous oxide, I’ll keep going.
So, Ivan is ridiculously funny. He’s always cracking jokes and is the life of the party. This works well because it makes the usual drudgery of a dental visit a much more entertaining and pleasant experience.
His staff also has evening hours so I can schedule my cleanings to be after work. If you see him, I recommend you ask him to tell you some jokes or ask him for some self-​deprecating humor.

This dentist claimed that I had 5 cavities. I was so shocked given my regular attendance to get cleanings. I went to get a second opinion and so it turns out that I actually had zero cavities. He even went on to fill the right side of my mouth and had schedule a date to come back. Ivan was completely unethical. He is lucky that I didn’t press charges. I would never see him again.

He’s the only dentist who has never made me feel painful when I took the xray. He keeps his appointments very well, I rarelly need to wait for more than 15 mins. His staffs are all very polite and courteous.
One last thing, I always wonder why he always talked so much while he’s working on my teeth and when I can’t talk at all…

OMG! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Dr. Ivan Lee! He is so awesome and I have never met dentist who makes me feel so comfortable; he is friendly and so informative through every step of the process. He has decades of experience and it really shows… he removed my wisdom tooth in 7 minutes!!! On top of all of that, he has given me the best prices after calling around many, many dentists in the NYC area (including Brooklyn!).
Never have I been so happy about going to the dentist. Finally, he has a good sense of humor and his assistants are sweet too. :)
