Real great quality ice cream — ask the Italians you know… they are straight out of Italy they likely haven’t forgotten what this stuff tastes like out there! Nice décor too, I wish they sold the little cow design cushions

Gelato and capuccino are like in Italy and made by Italians!!! We just came from Sullivan bakery where everything tasted great but the cappuccino was terrible!!! So we came here to make up for it!

Randomly stumbled upon this cute establishment while walking around one day… So glad that I did! I have to admit I’m a gelato snob — yet I LOVE their earl grey gelato(which they don’t have daily but there are several flavor options to choose from)… Friendly Italian woman working behind the counter… Chef is kind as well

The gelato is solid but not mindblowing – however, the incredibly friendly service and cozy décor might be a reason for a repeat visit. We tried the Ginger Lime, Stracciatella and Nocciola. I loved the flavor of the Ginger Lime, but as others have noted, its texture was closer to sorbet than creamy gelato. The other two weren’t bad, but not my cup of tea – or gelato in this case. As mentioned, the service is really awesome, and the entire place has that neighborhood feel that is so missing in Manhattan shops.

Their small-batch artesenal gelato is as good as(or dare I say even better than) in Italy. They also have lots of rich sorbets(hazelnut, chocolate, etc.), Italian sandwiches, a great atmosphere and service, and real Italian breakfast, complete with imported cornetti and an honest espresso/cappuccino. Best I’ve tasted in NYC so far, and most reasonable prices to boot!

I don’t usually write reviews but the chocolate and coffee gelato here was so amazing I had to. If you’ve ever been to Italy you know what real gelato is supposed to taste like and this place does not disappoint. I hope it stays around for years to come!

Stop by this place yesterday right before they closed and it was a great idea to go in. I had the chocolate and my bf had the pistachio gelato. They were both were really good. The location is nicely decorated and has places to sit.

What a cute little gelato place! I was drawn in by the decals on the windows and the white interior was so clean and inviting. There are comfy windowsill seats with cushions and bar stools too. We tried the ricotta honey walnut, pistachio with real pistachio chunks, strawberry with tiny seeds, and my favorite-peach and amaretto-the perfect refreshing summer flavor. I would highly recommend a stop here if you want to cool down and escape the summer heat!

I stopped by here on my way to penn station on a hot night and I am so glad I did. The gelato was fantastic the people working here were kind. I highly recommend the chocolate hazelnut flavor. They also game me some complementary biscotti and that was great as well. I have decided to make this my go to place to love and to hold, in good times and bad to respect and to cherish as long as I shall live :)

I stopped in after having lunch at the Meatball Shop and wanted a little dessert. This was the ideal thing! Ice cream as it is made in italy! I got a small cup with the chocolate chip ice cream and coffee ice cream-you can get two flavors in the same cup. It is reasonably priced, the space is comfortable and the work staff was very pleasant. I would recommend and return. E stato un davvero piacere.

Skipped the ice cream on brioche and tried 2 flavors but was impressed by neither, so fought the urge to just walk out and forked over the average crazy price for a CUP(SMALL) $ 4.20+tax = $ 4.57 — standard nocciola, but at least the pistachio truly tasted like it, nuttier than your average. Sadly the best part of my visit was the quick tips infographic over the display that described the difference between gelato and ice cream, which I’m surprised you don’t see more often. PS what an awkward address

In terms of gelato, I’m not crazy about it. Having been to many cities in Italy and having multiple cups and cones of gelato there, it’s a high standard to compare to, so there is that to consider. It was a quaint, cute shop, with a great location being so close to the high line. They had the typical flavors that I had seen in many gelaterias: chocolate, stracciatela, hazelnut, pistachio, etc. I had their matcha and their pistachio. While they were decent, I was wanting a more luscious, dense and creamy gelato, whereas theirs resembled more of a sorbet in some respects. Overall, a friendly neighborhood eatery if you’re walking about the high line and want something refreshing and sweet.

Really cute place! Came here with a group of friends and we all enjoyed eating our gelato and chit chatting in the little sitting area. I got sorbet, which was delicious. The serving was a good size, but I wish it wasn’t as expensive. I was also eyeing a canoli that looked pretty good. Try it if you’re around!

A cute little gelato shop near by the High Line was a great way to finish up dinner! They had all the standard flavors(chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, hazelnut) and even one unique one(green tea!). I was disappointed to see they didn’t have any particularly inventive ones though. The consistency of the gelato was not as thick as I prefer; I’d say it was okay but not great. However, I have only tried one, maybe two, gelato places before this and my very first gelato place(in Austin) was AMAZING. Perhaps I have been completely spoiled by that experience. At $ 5.60 for a large, prices here are fair and there’s adequate seating inside!

I liked the modern décor here as well as the authenticity of the gelato and workers, but I paid $ 5 for a 2 inch wide, 1 inch deep cup of gelato. I know. Gelato is expensive wherever you go, and this is New York City, but I need more than 5 sample-spoon sized bites for $ 5.

This place is great! Was walking home and just had to try this new gem in the neighborhood. I ended up meeting the owner Amp and was a cool dude. Their gelato is creamy and taste like they made it a couple hours. I would recommend the hazelnut and there coffee. I def recommend this place to everybody craving an amazing experience.

Delicious and very authentic Italian coffee and gelato. My friend introduced me to Giusto; he’s lived in Italy, so I took his word when he told me it was the real deal. The store’s interior is small but gorgeous: bright and classy, yet also cozy. The walls are lined with big jars filled with various candies(I wanted all of them), and the cases are filled with various pastries and biscotti(also wanted all of those). Try a «cornetto»: an Italian pastry similar to a croissant. According to my friend, they’re made with much less butter, but more sugar, than croissants. The texture is a bit more bread-y, and not greasy, which I like. They come plain and also filled with chocolate. Yum! For coffee, I went with an americano, and was quite impressed. Delicious! But also quite strong — you’ve been warned. What really says a lot is that I returned THEVERYNEXTDAY to try the gelato. And it was absolutely the right choice. I think the best was the banana walnut chocolate. You can definitely tell it’s made with real bananas. I also love the couch seating under the window. Perfect way to spend an sunny afternoon!

Wow, I have serendipitously discovered the best gelato I have ever eaten!!! The Italian artisinal chef comes from Milan where he has a gelateria there and makes the most delicious gelato I have ever eaten. This is not trivial as the source ingredients are different fat content etc between the US and Italy. We got the pistachio(pistachios from Sicily), chocolate(perfect), and my favorite(honey walnut and yogurt). Go, you will not be disappointed.
