Gap

Would give zero if I could. Nothing against gap products.
I had terrible experience with the workers at the register.

Eh! That’s how I feel about this store. There are three floors, but I feel like there is a lot of lost space. The employees could definitely be friendlier. I was not a fan of any one working the check-​out. Prices seem to be higher than usual and there isn’t anything to WOW you. It’s okay, not my favorite location.

Large selection but felt pressured to buy every step I took in the store. Was constantly told over and over about gap credit card and just not a pleasant experienced.

I’m sad this Gap has a not so good review because I like this store.
This location has a pretty good selection, although they don’t have a body section (underwear, bras, etc.). The staff is really good… which is one of the reasons I really like this store.
The staff… ahh, the staff. One of my favorite people in this store is a girl named A*. A is hilarious! One day I came in and asked her about one of their dresses possibly going on sale. After lightly yelling across the upstairs area to another salesperson is came by with the fact that the dress had been there for a while and very possibly going to go on sale. She (they) didn’t know when but it would. She also mentioned although she works there, some of their items are too expensive and she couldn’t endorse a product that wasn’t worth the asking price. After paying for the items I did have, she gave me a customer survey and shad it would be good for a 20% discount which I could use on that «overpriced dress» on my next visit. I LOVE IT!!! Thank you for not being a salesperson and just trying to get my money. I liked her so much I almost wanted to send her a thank you card and only visit this Gap just so all my sales could go to her, but I wasn’t sure if they even worked on commission. Plus she wasn’t there the last two times I was in the store.
This store also occasionally has discounts/​sales other Gap’s don’t for some reason.

Be aware!!! When you use your Gap Card, there is a 99 percent chance you will get charged twice!!! It happened to me twice and the customer service and managers gave me a hard time when it came to getting my money back. Many people have been charged for things that they didnt pay for. Be aware!

As a tourist picking the shelf clean, I was able to find a few good deals here. There seemed to be a variety of merchandise, but if you’re looking for something specific, it’s probably not stocked. Fortunately for me, it was.
I visited Gap in May during their 40% off sale. I found two soft v-​neck tee shirts that were only $ 8.00 after discount, originally $ 20. I was pleased with my find and the price, however service was subpar. There was a massive queue in the women’s section to check out, and only one clerk on a weekend. No one was around to let me in the fitting room either. I ended up going downstairs and paid in the children’s section.

I was in need of some socks and khakis.
Service sucked — not a single person was around to help when I couldn’t find my size. Then at checkout, I asked the cashier if the socks rang up 3 for $ 15 because it didn’t appear to me that they did. «Yes,» she swarmily said, «it does it automatically.» When she handed me the receipt, I pointed out that it «didn’t do it automatically» and that she owed me a refund.
Ten minutes later I finally left with my purchase.

I hate the Gap. Nothing is made in America, it always has depressing looking customers and employees, and it always looks the same. I wouldnt have come into this store if I didnt need to use the gift card I was given, and I kept getting confused with whats on sale and whats not. They have sale signs everywhere, and then they have the same merch (not on sale) in all different places too. Make something in America Gap.
