Andrew’s is OK — lots of ties you that seem appropriate for the middle-aged set but not too great of a selection for young professionals or preppy patterns. Many patterns /combinations are in less traditional and off-beat colors. Worth checking out but wasn’t as great as it’s reputation and location implied, in my opinion. Also beware — they offer no refunds, only exchanges and store credit.

Andrew’s Ties for the win again! I have this black scarf that I wear with my overcoat in really cold weather. My scarf is looking a little long in the tooth. I see these dudes in Chelsea walking around with these long colorful scarfs along with some cool looking knots and I got some regular old crackers around my neck. I walk by Andrews ties and I see on a dummy: A long scarf, Tied in a cool mutha f’in knot, With some Billy Salts blue colors I walk in and scream: Fashion emergency! I need that scarf! Sorry, we are out of that color. Really? I had the salesperson rip the scarf off the dummy and put it on another dummy, me! I also bought a matching suede belt that looks very cool. That’s my Andy!
