First time here with my husband eating dinner. Drinks are on point!!! They are quick with the food. I need to say I’m a very picky eater. I like my meat certain way and I have been in different restaurants in my life and very few get to make my meat exactly the way I desire. This place did make my meat exactly how I asked for and for that I will come back again.

Thought this place was great — clean, welcoming, and delicious. They have this very tasty green tomatillo sauce that they serve along with chips as an appetizer(they also serve a red sauce but I prefer the green one). I asked the waiter for drink recommendations and he suggested the house margarita which imo was rather strong but still tasty. For my dinner entrée I asked for the Chipotle Camarones(shrimp) and I thought that it was very delicious! The service was great — prompt, respectful, and helpful. 5 stars :-)

I’ve been here twice, once for brunch and once for dinner. The place is pretty big and is great if you have kids, but not great if you want Mexican food that tastes like Mexican food. It’s not upscale and it really isn’t a place you want to get«interesting» Mexican food — it’s more of a quick boring food kind of place. They have lots of flavors of margaritas, which I feel like is the big draw here. The black beans/refried beans tasted like they came out of a can or at the very least, were not salted or flavored in anyway. The rice was also bland. Maybe that’s what they’re going for. The mole, which is usually my test of a good Mexican joint, was OK, nothing special. It definitely didn’t taste like it had 20+ ingredients and cooked for a long period of time(snob alert!!). I don’t think I would come here unless someone twisted my arm or said they’re buying the margaritas.

The food is consistently great. The service is not, especially at the bar. The team there was so busy chatting with themselves that I had to keep interrupting their riotous conversation. I asked for water. Then I asked for a napkin. I had to ask for the chips and salsa, and I had to ask for someone to take my food order. It’s great when a staff like each other and want to talk, but not at the expense of paying patrons. Good food or not, pay attention to your customers — we pay your salary.

Gabriella’s is my family’s «go-to» place on weekends. The food is consistently terrific. Menu items are reliable, specials are inventive and often truly unique. Cocktails are generous, the tequila choices extensive and well thought out. The staff could not be warmer or more friendly. As we are regulars, we get treated like family. Most of the wait staff knows our kids’ interests, and the manager invariably visits our table for hellos and handshakes. We couldn’t feel more at home.

I should have turned and walked away from the beginning when the hostess rolled her eyes at me after I asked to be seated outside. I must have been disturbing her as she was busy brushing her hair instead of doing her job. After we were seated it took at least 10 minutes for them to come and take our order, and this way only after my boyfriend went in to ask the hostess(at which another eye roll was incurred) to send our waitress over. Waitress was nice enough, took our order and finally gave us our waters as well. The food was edible but didn’t look nor taste good seriously anyone could make the equivalent food in their own kitchen. We were there for brunch. The food served at dinner tastes a bit better but it’s way overpriced for the quality of ingredients and the taste.

Haven’t been here in several years. Decided to try again. Pleasantly surprised! Food is good quality, however kind of expensive. Drinks were good too but small. Overall fun place for a group of friends, but again a little pricey.

At a loss for where to start. Let’s see, my cocktail came in an incredibly small glass, mostly ice, well liquor and $ 10.00. Next my «dinner special» was anything but special. Question? Are tamales served cold? The cubes of cheese were never melted. Not worth a second chance…

Went here for a friend’s bday dinner. Food was meh. Service so-so. Drinks are nice and strong. Waiters are easy on the eyes. No rush to go back.

Great place for lunch and even hangout with friends. Their drinks are made to perfection and their fajitas are phenomenal! The staff is friendly and the service is quick! And I love efficiency! I love this place. I also appreciate the music playing in the background. Keeps it very authentic. Did I mention the margaritas are $ 8 and delicious? And during the warm weather feel free to sit outside and enjoy the view of NewYorkers passing by! I say come visit. It is good.

Who: Party of four What: Saturday Brunch Food: Portions were large, especially for the price. Food was good. Omelet was cooked perfectly, sauces were great, but the home fries were mushy. Drinks: Skip the mimosas. Coffee was perfect. Service:Waiter was inattentive and slow. We had to ask multiple times for the same item before we got it.

Went for brunch. The restaurant is large with ample indoor and outdoor seating. Felt comfortable to stay and chat with friends as long as I wanted. Service: our waiter was very slow with both taking orders and bringing drinks. However, other servers seemed speedier and more attentive. Food: many options and most are gluten free. Chilaquiles were absolutely delicious. I’m always in search of a good mole, and this was one of the best that I’ve had. I do wish the portion of eggs and tortillas were switched, way too much carb and not enough protein. The Mexican omelet was huge, fluffy, and meaty. Both came with a side of flavorful decried beans and mush«home fries» that were more like mashed potatoes. Price: amazing deal and hard to compete with– $ 15 for a meal and 1 free breakfast beverage(alcoholic or non). I will certainly be back.

This is a good spot for brunch, especially for the specials. Love the mango margaritas. The food is «meh». Not bad but not particularly good either. The free nachos and sauce are better than the meal. Beef always arrives overcooked to the point it is just barely edible. We go here because it is across from my mothers apartment and it is convenient. Some of the brunch options are OK but stay clear of beef dishes without looking to see what it looks like first!

Gabriela’s is an awesome Mexican restaurant on the Upper West. They do a happy hour Monday through Thursday, but it only goes from 3pm until 6pm, which makes it a little difficult to take full advantage in my case. Regardless, it’s a great spot with an energetic crowd. Their outdoor seating area is somewhat tropical, with a lot of plants and flowers. The drinks can get pretty expensive if you’re not there during happy hour, but they’re also pretty strong. Haven’t had the food yet except for the chips and salsa(delicious) but hope to go back soon to try some of the real stuff!

I love day drinking so this place definitely fit that bill with their outdoor seating and incredibly strong drinks. We kept ordered guacamole to go along with our stiff margaritas, and it was decent albeit under-salted. That’s fine as we can easily fix that rather than get something with too much salt. If you’re in the area and craving Mexican, this is a solid spot.

Classic, run of the mill Mexican restaurant. The food was average, but it was a little pricey. $ 20+ for chicken fajitas. The fish tacos were also lacking substance as they came with some raw onions and an avocado sauce. That’s it. Very unusual. It’s a large place with a large space outside. I’m sure it gets pretty lively in the summer.
