THISPLACEISHORRIBLE!!! No one that works here has any kind of professionalism! Definitely a bad first impression! We order on grubhub for delivery and the food never showed up and we literally live 4 blocks away. After and hour and a half went by we called to check the order and they said it already left and it would be here in 10minute. After 20mins passed we called again and the same person pick up gave a big sigh and said«all I can tell you is to cancel your order». What kind of customer service is this?! I will never order from here again! The person on the phone was really rude and not helpful at all. After 2 hours the another person picked up and was equally as rude as the first. I should have paid attention to all the negative reviews before I ordered. At this point I feel that any positive reviews are made from friends or people the store knows. You really should have friendly people with good customer service skills answering the phone if you are going to run a successful business. DONOTORDERFROMHERE!!!

Great pizza in the Heights! Lot’s of interesting combinations available, but we ordered the plain cheese pizza and had it delivered. The large had 8 big slices and it fed three of us lunch comfortably. Good quality, especially given the location!

I dream of their Nonna pizza. This place is in my New York Top 3 pizza places. So good! Never change!

Nice local pizza spot. They have a good selection of pizza, paninis and salads. The pizza taste great, tried prosciutto and arugula Pizza. Great crust, but way too much arugula and little prosciutto. They don’t say if the ingredients are organic, but the prices are, most pizzas are around $ 18, too high in my opinion.

So, I used to say this was the best pizza in the Heights that’s if you can get it. This showed up an hour late… kinda. This pizza was a wreck by the time it showed up. Guys get it together.

I checked the reviews before I ordered here and was really excited to try the margherita pizza. Nothing special… they ingredients were fresh but it wasn’t very tasty. It was very heavy on the sauce and it felt like I was eating bread with pasta sauce. I probably wouldn’t order again.
Their prosciutto and arugula pizza is TODIEFOR. Literally that’s all I order. The prices at on point with what you’d expect in NYC and the delivery is surprisingly fast. I always get warm/hot pizza even when I order all the way down to 162nd street. In the restaurant, the service is always fast and they’re all super nice!

Every pizza we’ve tried has been amazing, we were blown away by the vegetariana, one of the best vegetarian pizzas we’ve ever tried, later we tried the the calabrese(with sopressata and kalamata olives) and it might be our new favorite, even the fig and kale salad is mouth wateringly delicious. Everyone we have interacted with there has been very nice as well. It’s our favorite eatery in the hood.

As a neighborhood resident of many years, Fresco’s is a welcome addition. The quality of the ingredients makes for delicious and fresh pizza which is the best(by far) of any other pizza joint in the Heights. The block definitely needed a place like this to push the envelope and raise the bar. Clean establishment, prompt service, and quality food. Seems likes a no-brainer but this essential trifecta has eluded all other operators on the 187th street stretch. Glad to see someone is trying to turn it around. Keep it up, Fresco’s!

I live in the neighborhood so I get pizza from here almost every day. No, the pizza isn’t that great — I just can’t cook and it’s literally a 3 minute walk from my apt. Honestly it’s like everything in this neighborhood, just … ok. With a lack of options, I don’t think people care much about the quality of their services and products. I will order from here again though, probably today actually. The pizza is far better than anything I could whip up in the kitchen. So…enjoy! … if you have to :-/

We are fans! I’m not sure when Fresco’s took over from the old pizzeria, but one day, we decided to go in. We were so used to the old place(which we never visited) that I think we had to overcome our initial reluctance to enter. Once we did, we were surprised to see the changes, and how wonderfully tasty the pizza is! AND, two slices and two drinks is $ 10! We’ve made it our part of our weekend lunch routine. Hope to see you there soon!

I love this pizza place. They’ve been open for about a year now; it took them a few months to really get on their feet, but since they got going I love this place. They are always really friendly, and really fast with getting your order. The place is always slammed full of families with little kids. The thing I like the most about this place has to be the garlic knots. I’ve lived in different parts of New York for my whole life and I’ve never had garlic knots like this. I’m not sure what their secret is but the balance of everything on those knots is perfect. Other knots are either over-cooked/too hard all the way through, undercooked/no crunchy crust at all, or they are so thick that it doesn’t matter. But not these knots. The dough is always a perfect level of brown and crispy, with the inside a perfect level of gooey and spongey that seems to almost melt in your mouth. And the GARLICKNOTSHAVECHEESEONTHEM. I’m not talking about somebody sprinkling parmesan cheese after they come out of the oven. I’m talking about a thin layer of mozzarella cheese cooked right up to a crisp without burning it. The garlic knots are not on their online/delivery menu, presumably because they are too good for this world to handle. You have to call and ask for the knots or go into the store; they’ll take your card over the phone. The crust is very much on point, and the sauce and the toppings are always tasty. The ingredients are definitely a step above your everyday greasy pizza joint too, the level of fancy you would expect to see in a sit down restaurant rather than a pizzeria. When you start talking about figs and arugula on your pizza, you know this isn’t your parents pizza joint. That said, the toppings are also my biggest pain point here. While the toppings are definitely a step up in quality, the options are more limited than some of my favorite pizza places. I frequently end up ordering pizza from somewhere else to get what I want, like some better chicken on pizza options. Pro-tip: Their dough is amazing(I mean, it’s an NYC pizzeria so it better be), and they’ll sell you an uncooked dough for pretty cheap. Get a dough to make your own pizza at home and you will blow your friends away with your pizza making skills.

I really enjoyed the food from here. But I got very, very bad food poisoning from an order of their penne ala vodka with chicken. My guess is that the cream in the sauce was old or spoiled. Will never order from here again.

Ive had everything here! Including the kale salad and pastas. The best is the sauce covered Sicilian pizza and the margarita! The kale salad is quite good and reasonably priced. We are so thrilled this place is so close to our apartment! We get the large margarita often when friends visit. Everyone always raves!

Hurray for Fresco’s in Hudson Heights/Ft. Washington! This little pizza joint on this restaurant row of uptown doesn’t disappoint. I really love the Mixed Fresh Mushrooms Pizza(fresh mozzarella, rosemary and talleggio topped with Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese and truffle oil). This«white pie» has no sauce on it… but I enjoy it with a side of marinara for dipping. And I also add sausage for an additional $ 3(bringing the whole pizza cost to $ 25). Friendly service and a very clean dining room make this place a notch above good. I think it’s great. Only thing that would make it better is having the option of getting a beer with my pizza while dining in.
