You walk into a bullet proof glass box and feel a strange sense of safety. Fred is a sweetheart and will let u in to choose wine if you don’t look too sketchy. Thanks fred!

70 degrees outside, about 101 degrees inside this little wine store. However, if you’re not picky and just picking up a quick bottle of wine or a few bottles of beer, this spot is decent. Not sure if that was Fred who helped me out, but he was very nice.

Small, and feels like I’m doing something illegal. Getting led past a bulletproof plexiglass door, into a cramped, dusty space with a little tube TV and a beat up office chair, just to look at different kinds of wine. $ 9 for a bottle of Italian white! $ 13 for a bottle of coconut rum. My only question was why the bottle of Johnny Walker Blue cost $ 400 when down in the UES it costs $ 200. Other than that, everything is a bargain. And the guy helping us was a sweetheart.

They are small, but I always call and get deliveries. They would have gotten 5 stars except the wine selection is a bit lacking. These guys deliver quick! And once I even asked if they can pick up a pack of cigarettes for me and they did! Great prices also, my wife usually orders magnums of white for $ 10/bottle. El Gaucho to be exact. Not exactly on wine spectator but tastes pretty good. I order Johnny Walker, they always have that. Great neighborhood gem!

Ok, this place is tiny, and kinda dodgy, but they’re right in my neighborhood, super helpful, and they deliver! There are never bums hanging around either which is nice since many liquor stores in the neighborhood are cursed with that problem. And they don’t make fun of you when you ask for five bottles of their cheapest champagne! All in all, they’re definitely one of the better liquor stores in the ‘hood.
