A highly spirited kitchen staff argued with each other while cooking and chopping veggies at an alarming rate. The counter girl giggles and tries to pull customers into the conversation. Yea, the place is very ‘home-​y.’
And cozy. There are no tables. Just a standing breakfast bar area around the windows.
For breakfast, I had an extraordinary plate of collard greens and saltfish with boiled green bananas. An expansive flavor profile. The Pineapple/​Ginger Juice added a sweet complementing heat.
I would definitely return.
And try their takeout.
