I have walked past this shop several times, but finally went in.
Quite busy as it was Saturday, but still the sales lady was very helpful.
I liked several of their loafers, but one of their styles felt like it was made around my foot! Irresistible. Super comfortable. Stylish.

I have always had great luck finding wonderful classic stylish comfortable shoes at the FR Chicago store. I had a pair of FR loafers that I resisted wearing every day because they fit like a glove. FR shoes are pricey but they are beautifully hand-​crafted and worth every penny.

I love to hate expensive shoe stores… but I really like the shoes. I’ve never been able to do high heels but trying on some of them, these really do fee more comfortable than others. I wouldn’t know about walking around Europe in them… but they’re stylish.

If you have not discovered the Fratelli Rossetti Flexa shoes you are missing out on incredible comfort and style! These are the best shoes for walking throughout Europe — not to mention the fact they are water repellent!
All of the Flexa brand shoes (the more sporty, comfortable line) are stylish — usually in brown and black — with lots of different options including boots.
I have several pair and after walking over 20 blocks in 3 inch heels had to duck and rescue my feet from further damage by purchasing a new pair of Flexas.
They only have 2 stores in the US — Chicago and NYC, so perhaps you should just splurge and go to Italy and get them at lower cost and your feet will be so happy!
