I took my Canadian passport photo just now! The man was super friendly and really knowledgeable about those fine prints in the photo requirements. When I was concerned about how many photos should have his studio stamp. He reminded me only one. It appears that those officers would write something on one of those photos and if you stamped both, your application would be sent back. Thank god!

Great place for passport photos! They knew my Canadian passport photo requirements by heart(I was surprised, Canadian passport photos are annoying) and from sitting down to getting my photos took 20 minutes. Quick, easy, friendly, and knowledgable. Oh, and they have student discount for NYU students!

Came here to get photos for a visa application. The man working was super friendly and really knowledgeable. He even took the time to double check the photo requirements so I wouldn’t have to come back. Would definitely come back for framing and photo supplies

I definitely definitely like this place! I bring my film here and they always do a great job developing it at a really good price! I’ve also had large photographs duplicated, but that were an odd size and several places couldn’t print them clearly and accurately. But this place managed to do it! This is my go to place now. Recently I walked in to get passport photos, I walked out 5 minutes later. Super fast and efficiently. The person taking my photo also took several photos and gave me options to choice which one I prefer! I thought that was really nice! And for the first time, I am actually not ashamed to show my passport photo! lol Thanks guys!

Got my Canadian passport photos done here — seemingly one of the few businesses in NYC that can abide by the anal-retentiveness of the Canadian passport office’s requirements. The owner was really nice and the photos were done within a half hour.

I liked this place, is it gone? I wanted to give it 5 stars for customer service. When I had a very particular request for a discontinued camera style, the gentleman behind the counter went out of his way to find me several options of the style I wanted.

If you’re in the Village and want travel document photos that won’t make you cringe with embarrassment or disgust, come here. This guy must have a magical camera and expert photography skills because he consistently takes the best passport photos I’ve ever seen. A few cents cheaper than Walgreens and 100 times better in quality.

If you like to make multiple trips because of mistakes, you should definitely get your film developed here. I have always had problems getting my filmed developed here, either I am told that it will be ready at a given date and time and it’s not, or I am given a hipster’s film with gratuitous swimsuit shots and the mandatory«posing with my bicycle» shots. On three occasions I have been disappointed with the service, as it seems that the two employees lack organizational skill s and just have all there film in a poorly marked bin. I’m pretty sure strangers don’t appreciate me looking at their pictures and I’m pretty sure my pictures have been inspected by some stranger as a result of the owners’ lack of organization. I got my film scanned once, but I will never get it done here again. Instead of receiving my pictures on CD’s I was given two blank CD’s. My negatives were also scratched. The cost is also pretty high. Unfortunately, and I am not being harsh, but I think that Duane Reade has done a better job with my film than this place.

Passport photos in three easy steps: 1. Bring yourself and your printed-out passport photo requirements to Forum. 2. Get photos taken. 3. Pick up your photos 20 minutes later, crafted to –exactly– the above specifications. No fuss, no muss, and no worrying about whether or not your pics will pass muster. And that’s a relief when dealing with finicky foreign government bureaucracies.

I’m giving them three stars for speed and overall quality, but I’d knock off half a star for the price if I could. Unlike the previous poster, my negatives were never scratched(and I’ve gotten at least 50 – 60 rolls of film developed here) but I usually only went here for processing, with very few exceptions, and did my own color printing in the darkroom. They’re pretty good about listening to your instructions about your film and prints, and I liked how I could drop the film off before class and pick it up after, but you can definitely find cheaper developing elsewhere.

I brought these very nice folks black & white, color negative, and color slide film in both 35 and 120 mm. They were able to do all of it(including cross-processing), but the quality was pretty inconsistent. Sometimes my negatives were scratched or cut in a hurry. I won’t whine about how much it cost because it’s in New York, but I’m sure if I hadn’t been so lazy to go to the place right next to where I worked I could have found better quality for the same price(about $ 6 — $ 8 per roll). I never brought any digital work to them. They also sell film, paper, and various other photography-related stuff.
