Food is great & the service is excellent! Every time I go I try something new & the staff always makes great suggestions. Thanks Fiona, Carl, Joe & Shane for being such kickass bartenders who are always on their game no matter how busy the place gets! Last time I was in I ordered the jerk shrimp tacos with plantain chips & a Magners. It was the perfect summer combo both refreshing and light…

I stopped by for a cocktail and I was glad a got a bottle of beer. Playing safe due to the bartenders lack of hygiene. Sloppy and filthy performance. Unsafe sanitary conditions. Same ice used for cocktails contaminated by bottles on ice in the ice bin. Just disgusting!

As a visitor to New York, we were uncertain of where to eat, and get a beer. We walked into a pub nearby, and walked out and into Feile. The service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and attentive. It’s very good food, surprisingly. We weren’t expecting it to be that good, but wanted a drink, and would have settled for typical bar food. It definitely exceeded our expectations.

Excellent Irish pub. Good beer selection and the food was great. Was down the street earlier at another pub and the food looked college cafeteria, at best. Someone there tipped us off to try Feile, and it didn’t disappoint. Had the chicken pot pie and my friend had fish and chips. Will go back.

I have been sick for days since eating here!!! Had to have been the ahi tuna salad. So much for the 5 star rating. Food was average for our party of 10 at best. Would never go back. Plenty of other good choices in NYC. Have since read an earlier review that there have been many cases of people getting sick to the extent that NYC health department is trying to close this place. Hope they succeed!!! our review helps others learn about great local businesses. Great ambiance for a mid town bar! It is hard to find a good place that is not always jammed up. I work in jersey and have friends scattered throughout the city. We enjoyed a happy hour here just off the path! Large opened Windows on a spring day and plenty of tvs to see the game. The bartenders had a great pour for midtown! I enjoyed my small time here

The perfect bar to visit if you are attending an event at MSG or shopping at any of the nearby stores. The bartenders are absolutely fantastic. They are extremely attentive, charming and will make your experience very enjoyable. I stop in here weekly for that reason alone. However, the food is delicious as well! The Mexican flatbread and any of the flatbread pizzas are an absolute must try!

Great place to grab some late night drinks and food after an evening at Madison Square Garden! Just a stone’s throw from the venue, my group and I were delighted to come in from the cold and snuggle into the cozy, darkly wooded interior of this establishment. (We actually went to another Irish bar first only to find out the kitchen had closed… they directed us to Feile, which has got to tell you something!) We ordered Loaded Chips, Bacon Mac & Cheese Bites, Bourbon BBQ Pig Wings, and a Caesar Salad for the table. SODELICIOUS!!! Everything was absolutely fabulous. The Loaded Chips(aka Fries) were smothered in bacon, cheddar, scallions, and ranch dressing which was a mouthwatering combination. The velvety insides of the crisply covered Bacon Mac & Cheese Bites satiated my belly while the spicy sour cream dip warmed me up from the inside out. The lettuce in the Caesar Salad was cool and crisp with large chunks of cheese well-complementing the dish. I was so full from the other items that I did not have the opportunity to partake in the Bourbon BBQ Pig Wings but based on the empty plate at the end of our meal, its safe to say they were well-received. I enjoyed perusing the beer list and got to try something I have never had before… an ACE Pineapple Hard Cider. I love pineapple. and I love cider, so this was a match made in heaven. I am happy that the bar carried this beverage and that I had the pleasure of testing it out. Our waitress was on-point throughout the visit. We had drinks and food in no time despite the large amount of patrons visiting the bar at that time. I would absolutely drop into this place again the next time I am attending an event at MSG. If the appetizers were as good as they were, I can only imagine what their full entrees are like!

Stopped in with three friends after a long trek through Manhattan for the holiday season. This was our third and last bar stop in Mid town before catching our train at Penn Station. The location is great. The bartender was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was relaxed, casual, better than dive-y. The type of place I could easily become a regular at. What really made me happy here was the calamari. I love calamari and have had it in many a place. Feile got it just right. Perfectly crispy outside, tender inside, well seasoned and over flowing on the plate. The price was good too. Great ending to my day. Thanks Feile!

Nothing special here. Came here for company lunch and got a burger. Nothing crazy or amazing… if anything it was a bit pricey for a burger and fries

Came in here with my friend who had not been here before. Our server Tali gave us a pumpkin flight… she was exceptional. I loved the sectional of fall brews they have. That’s why I love this place it’s always so welcoming. Will definitely be back

This is my spot to watch the Seahawks games. They have a large establishment with lots of TVs to watch the game. They are LARGE and they are a UW bar too, so its nice to come here and MAYBE run into a few Seattleites. Washingtonians. The menu has Seattle dogs and imitation dick burgers. Delicious. I really love the service and they took care of us the last super bowl. They had news people, everything going on in this bar, and it was very accommodating and they had even a table for us when we got there, which was HUGE. we didn’t have to pay to get in and we defiantly ate a lot of food, drinks, and shots… It was a little depressed after the game, because we didn’t win, but you know what we are an amazing team and I can’t wait to see what this season is about. I love you Pete Carroll. Other Seahawk bars… Eastlo is cool, but they always had issues when I went with the TV. They also don’t have any food and the selection of adult beverages weren’t a large selection. Central. never been, but I will defintly check it out this season.

The Irish is in New York. Féile, is Gaelic for festival. Three Irish pubs back to back on West 33rd Street in Midtown West in direct competition… eeny, meeny, miny, moe, which one shall my party of two go? Féile. On a stifling hot Sunday with a party of two for Sunday dinner cool down and to indulge one Caesar salad and one chicken pot pie. My Caesar salad was sufficient to mellow my stomach and customer service is average. Féile is a Irish pub with the traditional Irish staples of Shepherd’s Pie, but disappointingly no Boxty, Bacon and cabbage. They embed the Celtic knot imagine. No alcohol intake for either of us. Ironically in a Irish pub their TVs are plastered throughout the pub playing the renowned Irish band U2’s 2008 full concert film«U23D» performance during their Vertigo Tour in 2006. I LOVE, LOVEU2! Staff was kind to allow us to sit after paying the bill while absorbing the cool air conditioning environment to calm both our respective lungs from asthma and watch U2. We were not rushed out due to high volume table turnover. I am surprised no Van Morrison or Enya music were being played as they are both renowned Irish musicians. I prefer Féile better than Stout.

Decent bar/pub food near Penn Station/Madison Sq Garden. Slow service but not that bad compared to most others in the same area. The beef short ribs sandwich was not bad. They seem to run out of a lot of things on the menu. Good for a quick bite before the show I guess.

I first came here in November of 2014, when my mom was visiting and we wanted a quick bite to eat before we got our drink on. The interior is dim and cozy. The seating is set up in a way that still offers some privacy for conversation. The noise level is usually not an issue; being hard of hearing, I’m still able to have a conversation here. Their drink list is extensive. No matter what your preference — beer, wine, cocktails — it is a safe bet that you’ll be able to get something that suits your tastes. I’ve been here several times, and I only felt bothered by the service once, on January 18th(we got waitress service that day). Other than the occasional fluke, the service is consistently prompt and courteous at both the bars and tables! My mom and I ended up spending the better part of our night here, and we had a great time. Everything I’ve ever tried from the food menu — the roast beef sandwich, loaded chips, and the angry burger — were all delicious, generous in portion, and highly satisfying. Much better quality than almost any other pub fare in the area(their neighbor, Stout, which has the same owners, has a bigger menu selection and is equally as delicious).

Went in for late night snacks and drinks. Seated quickly, good service, great snacks. We had the pistachio encrusted goat cheese over arugula-more of a salad than a snack. We also had the chicken littles which were very tasty. Very large portion, too. We rounded our snacks off with a blue cheese fondue that was quite nice. It was served with potato chips. We had one good dipping chip; the rest were bits and pieces from the bottom of the bag, it seemed. Our server brought us a new batch of dippable(new word) chips when we requested them. The draft and bottle beer selection is extensive, which makes us very happy :) Took a while to get our bill at the end of the night, but overall it was a positive experience.

My husband’s cousin use to work here, so we headed here on Sunday night after dinner. Couldn’t figure out why traffic was so bad and then it hit us, NBA all star game at MSG and this bar is right by there. Doh! We headed on in and were able to get a seat right away at the bar to watch the game. Not only is there a huge projection at bar, but there’s smaller tv’s too. Watching the halftime show, made you feel like you were there. Bartender was cute and friendly and they had a great selection of beers on tap. They had Allagash White on Tap, so I started with a couple of beers. Beer is too filling for me, so I switched to cranberry vodkas. We ended up watching the rest of the game and then some. We fully expected it to get crazy busy after the game, but it didn’t, so we stayed longer chit chatting and meeting people. It was nothing like Stout(which my husband and I had gone a few years ago and had a good time, but we weren’t looking for that type of crowd on this night). On a side note, ordered the Loaded Chips with bacon, cheddar, scallions and ranch. Husband acted like he didn’t want any, while his cuz and I downed it. He totally regretted it.

Headed to an event at MSG and looking for food before or after? Try Feile, my friends, try Feile. It’s a Irish bar/restaurant down the street from the Garden that has all of the sophisticated qualities of a good happy hour or post-game dinner/drink spot without the craziness [ie. it’s next door neighbor Stout]. Our group of six visited after a game and were given a table by the fireplace in their dining room. The main room and bar was pumping some loud music but the dining room offered a little relief… Menu offers up a nice variety of beers and ciders, and also a couple pages worth of delicious sounding comfort foods. Roast beef sandwiches, fish and chips, bleu cheese fondue w/house made chips. Tell me those don’t sound good?! I ordered up a turkey burger(with apple and honey mustard) but swapped out the brie for their maytag bleu cheese. and I’m so glad I made that switch — the bleu cheese was sooo good on the burger. Combination of cheese, zesty mustard, and crisp tart apples was awesome. I’d order it again for sure. A couple other notes — — Price point was good, especially for midtown/right by the Garden… my burger with fries was $ 11. — Bathrooms were really clean! — Our waitress was great throughout the entire meal but was hard to find when it came time to pay the bill… we had to go and ask the hostess to send her over. Overall a really nice meal… wouldn’t hesitate to visit again next time I’m at the Garden for an event.

I had a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon, which was warm(way higher than room temperature), so it automatically didn’t taste that great. I also had the tomato soup($ 6), which was quite wonderful. It was creamy, and tomato-y, and included a mini grilled cheese with cracker to dip into the soup. I had the salmon($ 19) which wasn’t great. The salmon didn’t taste that fresh so affected my perception of the entire dish. It was on top a bed of corn, tomatoes, mushrooms, and fingerling potatoes, which was delicious. But the corn was definitely canned.

I love this bar! Especially when my Hawks are playing! For a Seattle girl, being this place feels just like home from the Dawg décor to the 12th man flag flying high(not to mention fellow 12s!) — stepping through the front doors I forget that I am in the Big Apple. This is my go to spot on Sunday to watch the Seahawks dominate. Don’t worry about hurting your neck or having to squint to see whats going on at a distance screen, TVs are visible at each and every angle that you turn in this bar. And during the game, each screen is playing the same thing!(Funny thing, during the Eagles game there was a moment when the game became unavailable and the bar became eerily quiet.) While I have been here on multiple occasions I have only feasted upon dishes on their game day menus. Primarily consisting of wings, burgers, chips, nachos, fries — the usual game day bites. Their wings are solid, unbreaded and very flavorful and juicy. I got the chips with salsa and homemade guac but wasnt too impressed with it. It needed a bit of salt and pepper to perk everything up and after a bit got a bit too watery for me since the two were served alongside in a single dish. One thing that I do love about Feile is how they weave little relics of Seattle into their menu and atmosphere. I have already mentioned their décor but they have also recreated some hometown classics in their menus. Last weekend I feasted on Feiles version of the Dick’s Special. And while it wasn’t as smushed up, gooey and artery clogging as the original it was pretty damn good. They also have a Seattle dog on their menu, which for those of you who haven’t had the drunken pleasure of tasting its essentially piled with the usual suspects and a healthy dollop of cream cheese. I have yet to try this but I saw one getting delivered and it looked great! Rest assured you will continue to see a cheering 12th woman during the next game!
