EARPIERCING: The older lady was very nice & the earrings affordable. It’s just like how they used to do em the old fashioned way… Nowadays you got so much sophistication w/a high price tag when why fix it if it ain’t broke. Meaning if the old fashioned way worked why pay so much more for a simple service? She was nice and efficient

Finding this place made my day! After over 20 years of having my ears pierced, I tried to put an earring in one of my ears last night and couldn’t get it all the way in. I panicked and thought for sure I would have to get it re-pierced. I walked in to this place today and explained my situation. The lady was so friendly, cleaned and disinfected my ear and earring, and simply popped it back in. I didn’t feel a thing and it took 2 seconds! My hero! The place is fairly small but clean and the jewelry looked pretty nice too. I definitely recommend this place.

It looked nice from the outside but when I went in the woman behind the counter screeched at me in a nasty way to shut the door behind me and something about her heating bill. I had no idea her door was broken. There was no one else in the store and I understand why. So much for a friendly greeting. Stay away from here unless you want to get yelled at!

The place is super tiny and cramped, but at the end of the day the job was done. My piercings are fine, no infections or keloids. The piercings are a bit uneven, but so are my ears. They do use a piercing gun, so if you’d rather not, go elsewhere.

I went in today and the women working there is so sweet I don’t care what anyone else said she did my piercings fast and she talks to you and she’s hilarious! I got three cartilage piercings and they came out great it was an amazing price too. I highly recommend this place.

This nifty lifttle store, which advertises that it deals in «estate jewelry & folk art from 50 countries,» is tucked away, a level down from the street and contains all kinds of art, curiosities and beautiful jewelry, from Native American pieces, to contemporary designs, to some sports/political memorabilia(I saw what looked like a Bill Clinton matroyska doll on the shelf, as well as some NY Yankees pieces). Beverly behind the counter is friendly and helpful, and I’d definitely trust her with my ears if they weren’t already pierced. An added plus – it’s right down the street from the Yorkville Housing Works Thrift Shop, another nifty browsing place with potential hidden treasures. So if you’re an antique/vintage/browser type, you can easily make an afternoon of it – and find a vintage dress and a brooch to match!

I didn’t buy any of the jewelry, though it all looks nice & fun. I love how random the store looks in its location, & that narrow crowded space overflowing with sparkly jewelry is very Harry Potter whimsical. I just needed second holes in my lobes, as the originals had closed up. The lovely lady who pierced my ears was very nice & very quick. Good price on the piercing, friendly staff, no complaints!
