I know what you’re thinking: why is he reviewing a fabric store? Who does he think he is — Austin Scarlett?
I came with my mum because she is going to the Philippines and she wants to get some clothes handmade while she’s out there. So driving around the Fashion District, and after not finding Mood Fabrics, we came here.
My mum was able to find alot of stuff for $ 5 a yard, which I assume isn’t too expensive. And I was able to find some fabrics for $ 10 a yard, so I can get a couple of suits made. Can you imagine that? A suit that will only cost me $ 20 to get made (because it takes 2 yards of fabric for the suit jacket and pants).
But I did get a little weirded out by the salesman. I don’t know if he was being overly friendly in trying to make a sale, or he was trying to hit on my mum. I like to think it’s the former.
