This is the worst eyebrow place I have ever been to literally anywhere in the world. The woman who told me her name was «Emma» even shamed me for being an Indian girl who talked back to her. I asked for a simple clean up for my eyebrows, without making them to thin or short. She proceeded to thin them out, add an idiotic arch and completely Destroy any symmetry. She is terrible at her job. I have been getting my eyebrows threaded every four weeks since I was 16 and have never encountered any one as awful as her. She told me to grow them out and never apologized for the mess she made. Proceeded to ask me to pay her and gave me a lecture about her professionalism. Maybe the others are better, but she is one of the worst people I have had to deal. What a nightmare!

It’s convenient because it’s right next to Penn Station and on my way to /​from work.
Went there for the first time today for eyebrow threading. I agree my eyebrows were a big mess but that’s why I’m here.
I would not go here again.
She took out 1 too many hairs on the top of my left eyebrow and the line is obviously not straight. My eyebrows have a nice natural shape to them, very straight at the top. She pulled out one too many and then told me that my eyebrows are shaped like that and I was already missing a hair there… No they are not and no it was not.
I know where I’m missing a hair — it’s right at the inside end of the brow and that’s just natural for me. This was just unsatisfactory. It wasn’t anything an eyebrow pencil can’t fix but it’s not enough for me to return.
There are a couple other places near the station I’ll try instead.

I usually love this place and would still say it’s great! They do a wonderful job and the wax they use does not irritate or burn my skin the way most places do, so, why the poor review??? What are your actual hours!!! I always go before work and for a week now the operational hours are not being followed. Wtf? Post your new hours of operation or follow what you have posted and stated on your voicemail message.

ive been here for the first time and i am okay with the results. got my eyebrows done and i already had a shape so not a biggie. price was fair enough in the city, staffs were nice. I ve tried few places around midtown and chelsea area, and this is one of the decent place. they get their job done and there isnt such a long waiting when i went. i will come back when im around the area.

I have been a loyal customer for years. The staff here are friendly, quick, as well as efficient. I never waited longer than 5 minutes before getting to a chair.
The staff listen to what you want in terms of shaping and I have not been disappointed. This is what keeps me coming back to them as well as the convenient location. Frequent customers don’t forget to grab your business card (by the register) and bring it back with you so they can stamp for after each visit. After the 7th visit (and stamping) you get a free eyebrow threading.

I went to this place twice to get my eyebrows waxed. The first time it was alright, this time I went and specifically asked them to just shape my eyebrows, I don’t like them thin, and I like them both the same shape. Not only did the woman COMPLETELY ruin my eyebrows, but she cut me with the tweezers when she was «cleaning up.» There is no actual shape to my eyebrows and there are stray hairs all over the place. On one eyebrow she must’ve gotten the wax on the wrong spot, because now there’s a BALD SPOT in the middle of my eyebrow. On that same eyebrow she also shortened it, so now the hairs don’t even extend past the corner of my eye! I wanted to cry and the woman kept try to assure me that she just had to «clean it up.» There is no cleaning that up, and now I’m going to have to buy an eyebrow pencil or powder to fill in while this grows out. I refused to pay and walked out.

I’ve been coming to Eyebrow Express for a year so far & love it. It’s in a really good location near the ½/​3 line, which is very convenient for me.
When you go in there are usually 2 or 3 ladies available to thread your brows. If it’s your first time going then I would suggest you go and wait for someone to get their eyebrows threaded before yours. That way you see the person’s technique. Some of the women tend to get a little thread «happy» and can make your eyebrows too thin.
I have my two regulars that I tend to go to if I just want a nice clean up & nothing new in terms of my eyebrow shape.
The price is really affordable too. It’s $ 7 bucks, which you can’t beat for the location.
Remember to get one of their business cards before you leave. Every time you go they punch your card & after 7 visits I believe you get a free threading.

I love Eyebrow Express and have been going there for more than three years. The staff are fabulous. Once, I lost my sunglasses and when I went back some three weeks later they had them for me as I’d apparently left them there. I’ve even had my haircut by Oscar and he does a great job and is affordable. The work they do is impeccable, the service outstanding and the prices can’t be beat. Sure, threading hurts but its so much better for your brows and skin than waxing, especially if you’re sensitive.

Discovered this place one day walking around, and I’ve loved it since, and whenever I’m in town and need some maintenance, I stop in.
I remember once, I was living in a city who had no threading services whatsoever and once I got in town, I went here before I could even be bothered to check into my hotel, that’s how devoted I am.
If you’re in the area, check these ladies out! By the way, the wait is never very long.

This place rocks! For only $ 7 you will get beautifully shaped eyebrows. I’ve been coming here for 5 years and the service is consistantly great. You won’t find better. I’ve never had any of their other services, but the threading is divine.

I’ve been coming here for a little less than a year now. I LOVE IT HERE!!! I go once a week and every single time my brows come out the way I want them. They shape and clean them so nicely and they take their time with you. They never rush and that massage is awesome. I’ve gotten threaded by probably everyone there and they all are nice and do the job well. Other places I’ve gone before this place, the girls would rush, talk on the phone while they’re threading you, will hurt, etc. This place is on the way to Penn Station, so if you’re on your way home and have 10 minutes to spare, go here. I live 5 blocks away so it’s convienant for me. Highly recommended

Have been coming here for a few years now and they’re really good at what they do best… Eyebrow threading. I don’t know anything about there other services but it looks like a «salon»
Have had a few bad experiences with «over-​pluckers» but overall they do a great job of creating a natural looking shape to your eyebrows.
Sometimes there’s a wait and sometimes when you ask for a specific lady they’re a little pushy in steering you to someone else… say NO!
make sure they give your eyebrows and temples a massage as they like to skimp on this… get your business card and get it stamped (per 5 sessions get on free WOOHOO!)

I came here because I heard it was only $ 6 from a friend. However, when I went there they said $ 7? They didn’t have a price sheet so I wonder why they decided to raise the prices. I posted some pictures of my eyebrows, so you can see their job. I don’t think they were completely even and the shape was just OK.
It was just like any other place, nothing too special except they kind of gave me a mini 30 second eyebrow massage which was nice.
Oh and don’t look for a place that says Eyebrow Express, it’s actually a salon I think that says Unisex Salon.

I’ve been coming here for 4 years now to get my eyebrows done. I used to work around the corner, and this is where all the girls with the thicker eyebrows would go. I never had very thick eyebrows so I never really had anything done with them. One day, a coworker convinced me to try threading once. We came here together, and it was surprisingly far less painful than I thought it would be.
While they’re used to girls with thicker and darker hair, they have no problem doing an excellent job on my thinner, lighter hair, giving my eyebrows a beautiful shape. I’ve tried a few places and most were horrible. This is one of two that I am willing to subject my eyebrows to.
