I was referred here by my eye doctor for a second opinion for an eye problem that I was having. Everyone here were professional and courteous and I had no issues.

The same thing that happened to Marta happened to me. I was charged up front then had to find out ONMYOWN that I was owed back a portion of the money. It took several calls /months to get back the portion. The staff informed me they were keeping the money«on file for me as a credit for next time.» No thank you. While I like the doctor and really liked the guy there who used to help with contact lenses(I forget his name), the staff seems to make my experience there less than desirable.

I went to see a doctor at this office who is «in network». The office charged me upfront for a procedure that is covered by my insurance company. Despite of several requests, they have never sent me a detailed bill that would be acceptable by my insurance company for reimbursement. According to the insurance company, charging«in network» patients up front is a violation of their provider agreement, and they sent notices to the office telling them to reimburse me. According to the office(Julianne), it is their«policy» to charge patients upfront, and if I don’t like it, «You don’t have to come back». Needless to say nobody informed me of the so-called«policy» when I set up my appointment or when they called to reconfirm it. It is an unlawful but creative way for the lazy, ignorant and uncaring office staff to minimize paperwork at the patients’ expense. My advice: Get your prescription glasses someplace else.
