Fantastic late breakfast(brunch). The signature French toast is finished in what is reminiscent of an authentic New Orleans bananas foster and is delicious. The fresh berry crêpe with homemade whipped cream was unexpectedly light and expectedly delicious. The smoked salmon and crème cheese crêpe was mouthwatering. Delightful! …5 stars

We’ve eaten here multiple times for breakfast. Based upon today only, it would have been 3 stars, but all of the other times, 4 star experience. There is always quick service here and a fast turn around. Today, coffee and service was 5 star. All of the egg dishes were overcooked. Omelets and egg sandwiches don’t have to be browned to be cooked through. Also, potatoes were a bit greasy, less crisp, and less flavorful than usual. Still planning on breakfast here again next year when we are in the area, but if that hasn’t picked up, there are definitely multiple other options in the area.

Went to this disgrace of a restaurant about a year ago for breakfast. I don’t recall ever being served a warm hot chocolate before. The name says it all: HOTCHOCOLATE! Why did they serve me warm chocolate? When I complained nothing was accomplished. My husband’s breakfast also left a lot to be desired. We’ll never return to this dump, we did not leave a tip. Nasty wait staff. Save yourself the aggravation and instead spend your money at Petrossian’s Café across the street or at Le Pain Quotidien nearby. Excellent service and food at either of these two establishments.

Since the home of burnt coffee and plastic food combined with poor service known as PAX on 57th and Broadway closed, I figured I would try this place for a quick breakfast with a work colleague. Until I found out PAX owns them. I wouldn’t wipe my behind with what these people call food. Terrible service. A completely overpriced and laughable dining experience. Burn your money somewhere that PAX Ventures doesn’t own… you’ll be way better off for it.

Cheap and occasionally cheerful. Breakfast on a paper plate and coffee the same, maybe if you are in a hurry but not exactly inviting. The food was delivered to the table only just warm, the staff tried but obvious standards are set by the owners. Not an experience to be repeated

Nasty service, stay away. You order at the register and pay the food never arrives. They then insult you and say it is common sense to order. At the grill. When you were at the grill thy ignored you. Go someplace else

Came here to pick up a breakfast craving… a croissant. I honestly would have supported the cart guy outside my office, but I wanted to have it toasted, so I stopped here since it’s just outside the train station. I ordered a croissant, toasted, and the man I spoke with shouted the order down to a woman by the baked goods. I noticed the woman took my croissant from somewhere else, not where all the croissants were. It was also very small… not what I was imagining in my head. So I thought, «well maybe smaller is better since this is already unhealthy.» Well the man I placed the order with hardly toasted it and threw it at me wrapped in foil. I thanked him and headed to see what I’d be charged… $ 2.45. Not worth it. It was small, maybe left over and in a separate batch they try to get rid of first(speculation), and definitely not worth the price. I would never come back as it seems to be a tourist trap and they would overcharge for everything. Back to the cart guy, or my other breakfast place on 8th Avenue.

Lines are shorter than the Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts further down 7th Avenue. The place is clean and fairly efficient. I’ve only come for coffee so can’t comment on the food. There aren’t enough napkins near the sugar and things when you’re fixing your coffee.

My husband and I went here on a whim due to our other breakfast locations that I had bookmarked were not open due to the weekend. I ordered the breakfast special number 3. The bun consumed my whole meal and I was like where is the meat and egg? My husband liked his omelet(number 2) so i can give this 2 stars. We ordered a dessert to share and it looked better than it tasted. That is a common theme in Europe, especially German. Maybe I should of got the delicious looking cupcake? Serious they had a cookie dough cupcake!

Such a great corner shop bistro. Ample selection of coffee and espresso, Danishes or make your own omelet! Tasty! Lots of sandwiches to choose from with lots of meat in them. Nice staff and very clean. Good value for the money.

The premade yogurt with granola was delicious but the $ 6 smoothie was disgustingly bland. How? How can you go so wrong with a smoothie? Like an idiot, I got the large one, expecting it to be great and had to toss it. They get an extra star because, at least the people behind the counter were friendly but that smoothie. Ugh

This place is perfect if you’re in the mood for a quick and easy breakfast or lunch. They make your food right on the spot and for the relatively cheap price, the food went down just fine.

Look, I hated food service work like everyone else does, but I have never seen attitude like this. These people will not look you in the eyes or speak a word except for the price. It was astounding. I don’t need cheery, I just don’t want to feel like you’re going to go home and kill yourself that night because I was your customer. Also, I would get their mediocre sandwiches for lunch sometimes and it always gave me digestive problems like an hour later. I gave up a couple months ago and will never go back. Not even up to par for a highway robbery Midtown lunch place.

I was in Manhattan with a friend just for the day to see a show and spend the afternoon at MoMA. We needed sustenance and figured we would find something decent somewhere in between the museum and the theater. By the time our hunger pangs got the better of us, we spotted this place on the corner. We were looking for something we both like(a challenge) and that didn’t cost an arm and a leg and a first born child. This fit the bill. Decently priced and you can build your own salad/pasta/what have you. I put together a delicious salad which turned out to be exactly what I wanted. My friend enjoyed her pasta creation. I also treated myself to some tiramisu, which was not spectacular… but whatever. Filling, fairly priced, and the ingredients I encountered were fresh and delicious.

Things I Wonder About Europa: (this post sponsored by my lunch break) –How can bread be burnt and soggy in the same bite? –Why is the chicken so rubbery? –Why did I pay $ 9 for this sandwich? –Why do my supervisors order from here almost every day? –Why is the best thing about this place their speedy delivery? –Why are you still reading?

Kicked off my trip to NYC with breakfast at Europa Café! My husband, brother, brother’s girlfriend, and I stopped in for breakfast after checking into our hotels… drawn in primarily by the convenience and the signs in the window advertising crepes. Having just returned from my honeymoon in Paris, I didn’t necessarily expect the crepes to match up, but I had the nostalgia and the craving so I was all for it! The crepes were nothing special, but were decent… my spinach and feta crêpe definitely satisfied the itch, and I liked the olive tapenade spread on top. We ordered the nutella, strawberry, and banana crêpe to split for dessert, and that was obviously yummy. Service was friendly and quick, and the place was busy and energetic. Over my next few days in NYC, I saw probably half a dozen other Europa Cafes throughout the city. Seems to be a quick, convenient, reliable option!

I came in looking for delicious, European crepes. What I got was decent, ordinary crepes. I got the strawberry, banana, nutella crêpe. It was cold when it got to the table — negative. It was small — negative. It was not proportioned with an inadequate amount of nutella — negative. Overpriced for a bunch of negatives. I don’t recommend going. Something to keep in mind… if you’re coming in for a crêpe, order at the counter. It’s about $ 1 cheaper.

Stopped in for breakfast while walking around Manhattan. Had planned on going to Le Pain Quotidien, but have been to their restaurants before in LA and London so tried something new. Europa has a nice ambience, very European, with tables and a counter. I ordered the Gotham combination which was scrambled eggs, sausage(or ham or bacon), potatoes, a bagel, coffee and OJ — all for under $ 13. Great deal and the food was solid, nothing spectacular but the regular scrambled eggs staple. I sat at the window and watched a nice New York day. Service was good. Nothing outstanding but a good option.
