Went there on a Thursday evening around 6 with 2 friends. Everything was very good: food and service. Place is quite small and NY cramped. I followed recommend ations from other Unilocalers and was not disappointed. Fried feta with sesame seeds and honey is divine. The eggplant Napoleon and lamb ribs were sumptuous.

Came here for dinner with a friend. There were maybe two tables on the inside… it was nice out so my friend and I sat outside. Everything was fine — food and drinks. Best suggestion is that anything with the haloumi(cheese) was a standout… so definitely start there!

3.5 stars Affordable, satisfying brunch. I wasn’t necessarily blown away by my brunch, but it was a nice find, with great service and at a price that can’t be beat. The brunch prix fixe is $ 15 for a massive entrée and a drink(mimosa, sangria, Bloody Mary). For another $ 12 you can get unlimited drinks. I got the three egg omelette, which was actually massive and I could barely finish it. My friend’s lox Benedict was similarly massive. The mimosa was pretty good, I didn’t have any complaints. Service was good and we all walked out feeling stuffed.

Unbelievable. Some of the best Greek food I have ever had. Highly recommend the Imam, which is eggplant with tomato sauce. They gave us free desert, which was a total surprise. Service was excellent. The server we had was very attentive and extremely pleasant. Next time we are in NYC, we will be back!

One word… AMAZING. I had the steak and eggs with home fries for brunch and it was out of this world. Their Bloody Mary was so tasty. I’ve eaten here before and everything I’ve had has always been delicious. My bartenders tonight were Chris and Alex & they are the BEST. They’re both very personable and very attentive. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed with this place. I highly recommend it.

I just came for lunch it was amazing. It was rainy outside and i just happened to stop in this place. The bartender was really friendly Harry I believe was his name… he suggested I try the Lamb Ribs with the sweet glaze. It was excellent! It was also Two For One Sangrias which are made in house. I was so happy with the drinks. They have this deal every Thursday! I than had the Spicy Seafood Orzo this by far is the best seafood I have had in a long time. All of the staff was really nice. I will def come back for Happy Hour and those amazing Lamb Ribs. Cant wait to try the Spicy Yellow Fin Tuna next time!

We stumbled upon Ethos Meze when in the neighborhood looking at apartments. I’m happy to say we can now call this establishment a neighborhood spot! Staff was the right amount of attentive, portions generous, ambience nice as well during the day. I follow a vegan diet so it’s nice to know me and my husband can coexist here! I ordered the Greek salad sans dairy with falafel and my husband ordered a pizza. Wine selection is decent too. We will no doubt be back here now that we’re locals!

Stopped into Ethos Meze after passing it a few nights ago… its a small happening place. Even on a Wednesday night they got busy fast and they seem very popular– so I recommend making a reservation. From the moment we walked in we we were treated like family. All of the servers were friendly. The bartender made us drinks while we waited for our table. I had the Mythos Mule it was excellent! My boyfriend had the Grand Old Fashioned which was made correctly– whiskey drinkers will appericate what that means. Because it was our first time we asked what dishes were best. All of her recommendations were fantastic. We started of with whole wheat pita and hummus. The hummus was amazing. Than we had the spicy yellow fin tuna it had a pineapple vinaigrette. It was to die for I wanted to order a second one to take home. We than had the Lamb Ribs that had this sweet glaze my boyfriend was in heaven. For our main course we had the Ethos Large plate for two this was excellent. It was a sharing plate of grilled seafood, lemon risotto, salad and aoli sauces. We ate every bite. To finish our night we had Ouzo and Greek coffee. Being a true New Yorker this place is an nyc joint. The staff knew most people as they were regulars. Everyone we spoke to at the bar told us how wonderful this place was. The food was amazing, the music and ambience are perfect for date night– I don’t recommend this place for kids. They also have TVs with sports games on. Everything was well priced. The staff from the host to the bus boy were fun and friendly. I will recommend this place to all my friends. Ethos Meze we will definitely be back we want to become regulars too.

Had lunch at Ethos Meze today… Ambiance is okay, the restaurant is a bit dirty and frayed(chipping paint, wobbly tables, etc). Could use some paint and a good clean. Service is very friendly and food came out quickly. Food is good for the most part: – Gigantes were excellent but such a small portion for the price. – Shrimp Saganaki(sp?) was excellent as well but $ 10 for two shrimp is ridiculous. – Husband had the chicken panini which he enjoyed. – Lentil soup is a bit watery and not too flavorful. – Complimentary pita is quite good. Overall the food is tasty but the quantities are too small to justify the high prices. I don’t think we’ll return.

Very posh looking spot with pretty good food and fast, friendly service. I loved my cucumber cocktail and the lamb ribs small plate. The haloumi salad was good, although could use more stuff in it. 10% off your bill when you check in on Unilocal

This place has one of the best bottomless brunches that I’ve had in the city. The food is awesome and the guys who work here are really accommodating! I recommend the 3 Eggs or the banana nut pancakes. Literally anything you get here will probably be good. Aside from the food, the servers and bartenders are super awesome and friendly. There’s this one tall dark and handsome bearded guy who really knows his stuff about making a drink. Also, speaking of greek food, I’d have to admit he is an Adonis among men. I’d come here for brunch every day just for that. Five stars. A+++. Shoot for the stars.

This is easily some of the best Mediterranean food I have had in my life. Everything we had was piping hot and absurdly delicious. Do yourself a favor and get the Lamb Ribs, grilled octopus, fried feta cheese and falafel sliders. Seriously, eat here immediately.

My lady and I sat down to enjoy a hearty breakfast before heading back home after a mini vacation. We picked to eat here because of the apparent low costs and seemingly OK reviews. Plus, meals came bundled with our choice of drinks! The décor was alright for a corner-side restaurant. There was plenty of seating, nice folk chatting away, waiters standing by to show us to our seats. This place wasn’t eye-candy but it was alright. I got the slight feeling of walking into a remodeled basement. I ordered a typical lumberjack style meal — steak and eggs(unfortunately, they didn’t have the option for bacon and the works). When the dish came I was slightly disappointed, because the portion seemed smaller than I would expect a steak and egg platter to look. The steak was juicy and prepared how I like it, but it was chewy, and my eggs seemed to be undercooked, although it was difficult to tell. However, my SO ordered the Lox and Egg Benedict, and suffice to say, the portion was nice and large. It made my mouth water looking at the eggs sprawled over a stack of cured salmon. She said it was nice and filling, and I was lucky to get a small share. Overall, this place is okay for what it is. The décor could use a little work.

I like! Seems like a quiet place, then again, we went on a Sunday morning for brunch and it’s not a particularly busy area so *shrug*. Despite how empty it was inside, the food was delicious! Service was so-so, a little lacking but given that there were literally 5 people dining in at the time, it’s forgivable. Décor is simple and modern, one side for bar seating and the other side for table seating. We opted for their tapas(normal dinner menu) rather than the brunch menu, and ordered 4 things — yogurt marinated grilled chicken bruschetta, grilled octopus, thyme-dusted diver sea scallop, and a grilled shrimp/sausage with curry sauce(I forget the official name). All the dishes came out surprisingly quick! We had to scramble around to move our plates so we could make room at the table. Sea scallops had a good sear on them, and were pretty soft. Really liked the grilled octopus — nicely seasoned and cooked perfectly. The octopus was cut into bite-size pieces and were super tender/slightly chewy without being tough, and coupled with some capers — delicious! The yogurt marinated chicken bruschetta is a super large portion… hearty pieces of juicy chicken with a liberal portion of fresh feta and sweetened tomatoes. It was a little difficult to eat though, given the size(and cutting it into pieces was kinda messy). Even though it was good, we agreed that if we had known it was going to be such a large portion, we probably would have ordered something else smaller. Oh well. And the sausage/shrimp with curry sauce combo was great — delicate char on both meats made for a crispy skin/shell, and the curry was both savory and sweet(hints of coconut). Solid food and decent prices. Oh and check in on Unilocal for a little discount! :)

Stopped by for lunch & had a delightful experience! Started off with the Red Beet Salad w/Grilled Chicken, which was everything I could have asked for. A large portion, which was fresh & filling but not too heavy. My friend & I also split the Lamb ribs which was nothing but succulent & savory deliciousness! On top of the great food, Ethos had a fun casual atmosphere with excellent service. I will definitely come back & would highly recommend it to others.

Last Friday I tried Ethos Meze for the first time(I had been to its sister«ethos» numerous times). We shared quite a few plates, my favorites were the lamb and stuffed calamari. The large octopus salad was very large, and also very yummy. The domas were okay — nothing special. And the dips(hummus, babaganoosh, tzatziki) were pretty tasty and accompanied by seemingly endless pita. We drank plenty of wine, but found the bottles to be overpriced for the quality. I used my 10% off Unilocal deal, which made me happy. Ambiance feels like a glamorous diner, but totally a-okay for a casual Murray Hill dinner. They also have a few outdoor seating options and tvs(for game watching).
