I just come here for the bagels. The staff is super nice and they seem to have a lot of neighborhood regulars. I also get their hazelnut iced coffee from the self-​serve stand which is far superior to that of Starbucks. A friendly, cheap, and quality breakfast! Don’t forget student discount.

Ordered the spicy Cajun chicken sandwich and it was the worst sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Completely drenched some Asian chili sauce in the sandwich and was way too salty for any human being to eat. Overall extremely disappointed and won’t be coming back.

Came to this place looking for udon. Saw the cook preparing make your own pasta. I ordered the same. Three vegetable and a meat and a pasta selection. I asked if i could make it two vegetable and two meat. The cook was okay with it. You get a soda and chip with it. The price is only less than $ 9.

My deli. Sandwiches are always so perfect and the service is polite and friendly. They always remember what your usuals are. The subs are made generously and always have fresh cold cuts and cheeses. They will make just about any sandwich u ask for if they have the ingredients, you can have it, no matter how crazy. Breakfast is fast and busy. The coffee is so good here. I sometimes have been there middle of the night and forgot my wallet or didnt have enough, they allow me to «pay next time– no problem» .
They deliver 24⁄7 and they will bring you food, paper towels, toilet paper– you name it. This is the definition of a CONVENIENCE STORE. I am lucky to have this place so close.

This place was closed for a few months and reopened in about June after a wholesale refurbishment. Prior to this refurb, I’d have given this place only a couple of stars. Now, there is no better deli around the Village. Clean, friendly, great coffee and the big winner is the sandwiches. Their sandwich make my mouth water just thinking about them. Big, tasty and made with care. Their tuna melt is the best I have ever had. The tuna salad is awesome and the guy behind the deli really takes pride in his work.
They also sold me a great Xmas tree! Love this place!!!

I don’t know how epicurean this place is but it’s been around forever. Probably in the days when it opened, there were no gourmet delis.
It has roughly the kinds of things that Gristedes carries, but it’s open 24 hours so that’s obviously a big plus. Also it’s within walking distance of me.
Gristedes is just the next block so daytime, that’s an option too. Also the A+ deli on the corner of Waverly & University has a huge selection of stuff!

This deli is as perfect a New York deli as could exist.
The sandwiches are big, delicious, and well priced. The cold salads are fresh and, unlike in most NY delis, look like salads you would actually be excited to eat. The market items (like cat food, ice cream, and tea) are usually cheaper than at the D’Agostino across the street. Finally, the woman who works the counter on weekdays is absolutely lovely and remembers her customers.
This deli won’t only make you a sandwich, it will make you smile.

Standard little deli. A little rundown. ‘Epicurean’ feels like a reach…
But their pick your own ingredient salad is the best value I’ve found in the area. 5 ingredients for $ 6.95 and nicely portioned.
(Amusing side note: Instead of their sign saying 5 ingredients, their sign says 5 ‘stuffings’. Didn’t realize you can stuff a salad. I picture a ‘stuff your own cornish hen’ place.)
I’ve also bought prepared fruit here. For $ 2.75, a good amount of cut up mango.
I’ll say this — I like it better than Bully’s…
