Envy Nails

You can’t beat the prices. You definately get more than what you pay for. The staff always is kind. Not the cleanest, but again, the prices are great. I always get my acrylics/​fill-​ins at Envy Nails.

While this is not my favorite nail salon, I love coming here to get a pedicure — the Spa pedicure (which cost $ 20 compared to the normal $ 10 one).
I was not satisfied by their nail polish selection, so I usually bring my own polish or stop by the beauty supply store next door and pick up a better quality brand that will last longer. I prefer OPI or Essie.
The woman that did my pedicure brought life back into my feet! She removed all the dead skin from my feet as possible with a foot rasp and got ALL of the dead cuticles as well. What amazed me was when she buffed my feet. She had something that looked like it could have been a handheld floor buffer/​polisher. Don’t fright. It did not hurt one bit. Tickles? Yes! It really made my feet smooth and soft! She applied the perfect coat of nail polish on my toes that lasted a very long time!
I got a full set done here as well, but I am not a huge fan. Again, I am very picky about my nails. Yes, acrylic nails are not natural, but that doesn’t mean that they should look super fake. The nail was a bit too square for me and too thick. In retrospect, they probably could have fixed this if I asked again.
The staff here are super friendly. The full set only cost $ 17 and they have great designs for a cheap price too! I brought in a picture of a design I wanted done and the nail stylist did a great job replicated it. Great rhinestone colors!
In short, if you are not super picky like me or need a pedicure sent from heavy, I would go here in a heartbeat.
NOTE: You have to walk up a flight of stairs to get to the salon and BRING CASH.

This place is absolutely disgusting and coming from a hair stylist who knows the sanitation laws this place should be shut down immediately! I was the last customer to leave this evening and it was very quiet as she finished my fill in. We heard rats, mice, I duno but some kind of vermin making noises in the restroom! It was disturbing. This is the second time I’ve gone due to cheap prices & location but never again. Rude & dirty! This goes for all of the envy nails locations near 116^th. I felt like they were polite to all of the Spanish & black ppl but rude to the white people.

for the price … you cant go wrong.
I have been to many other salons that are double and triple the prices here.
Envy Nails is a chain that exists primarily in Harlem and the Bronx.
Its always clean, not decorated that nice,= a moderate wait to sit down with an expertly skilled staff. usually endearing Latins or Asians.
I am pleased with the quality of the work.
