A friend of mine who lives in San Francisco had a great experience with Megan Zatko, and once she found out that Megan was also working in New York, recommended her to me. As a t-​shirt and jeans guy who only replacement shops, I was a bit skeptical of personal stylist/​shopping services, but Megan completely changed that.
I spoke with her Meg a week before our appointment. I described my limited wardrobe — work clothes, t-​shirts and button downs and she was beyond excited to work with me. We ended up chatting for quite some time, and she got me excited (well maybe not excited, but intrigued at least) to see what she could do. She followed up several times before our appointment with «ideas» and links to stuff that she was finding and thinking about for me.
We met in Union Square, and hit up many of the national stores in the area, J Crew, Banana Republic etc and then went to several boutiques in the West Village. I was trying on things that I would have NEVER thought about wearing, but looked amazing. Megan was very conscious of my budget and didn’t push anything (which I had expected from past shopping experiences my wife and former girlfriends). I got some great stuff which fit my style (or lack thereof) and also expanded into some new fashionable items. Megan kept within my modest budget, and my wife couldn’t believe the stuff that I came home with.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND working with Megan. She is an amazing, fun and diligent person, who wildly exceeded my expectations. I would recommend her to anyone I know. She can go as fashion forward or as conservative as you wish and completely respects and understands her clients and strives to give them a great experience and wardrobe. Thank you Megan.
