Some of the best healthy drinks I’ve ever experienced in my life. They had this one with lemongrass, some lemon flavor some other stuff. Duddde phenomenal! Just phenomenal. After that you take a short walk to the plaza for the Friday Night festivities. Probably the best refreshment while listening to some Brian Eno at the plaza. But a bit pricy though but worth it.

Wanting a smoothie with a bit more umph(like yogurt), I came to the wrong place. They really only use juices and I’d rather they just use all fresh fruits in their smoothie. Asking the semi-unpleasant guy what would be most filling, he pointed me towards the peanut butter and jelly but the last time I had a smoothie like that I couldn’t get it down. Shocking, I know, since I love peanut butter. But honestly, we can skip the jelly. –Acai Smoothie(acai, banana, apple cider, blueberries): It just tastes like a mix of the four and like your average smoothie – nothing special. FINALVERDICT: $ 13 for a smoothie(I got a shot of wheat grass which was extra) but that’s EXCESSIVE and for the way this tastes – uh no. Head to the smoothie carts all over the place: because it’s fresher and cheaper.

I can’t afford to eat lunch the day I get Juice or Smoothie here. For a small sized basic smoothie, they charge 8 bucks. You can easily get the same quality or the better ones for under $ 5 from places that are not labelled Elixir. However, even though this place is outrageously expensive, I am still giving it a 3.5 star cause the staffs are nice, the quality of their food is descent, they have cheaper Hale and Hearthy soups, they have less caloried salads and sandwiches and they have daily special smoothies for 5 bucks.

Pretty good juice/smoothie bar, but really hard to justify spending close to 10 bucks on a smoothie or a juice here

two words… juices and smoothies this hot spot in the world financial center is one of the most expensive places for lunch and after almost 2 years, i decided to try this place they have smoothie specials but its mostly some combination of OJ, pineapple, peaches, bananas, or some other fruit for $ 5, some of the more exotic fruits or something similar are not covered they have other specials which includes a smoothie and soup for about $ 10 or a smoothie and salad for $ 12, this DOESNOT include the acai smoothie they have many varieties of salads which satisfy people with all diets, including vegetarians and pescatarians i had the salmon salad and it came with an egg and greens, not bad at all, not sure if i ever want to spend that much money for lunch, but all of the excitement is over after the first time if you have the money and can afford it, come here, its pretty healthy

Their juices and smoothies are yummy, but good lord they are pricey. So I bring clients… :)

Good smothies and prepared sandwiches, but definitely a steep price and a location that’s out of the way for most. I recommend the chicken curry wrap which is in the pre-prepared refrigerated section. Smoothies are actually really good and you can tell that they are packed with fruits /veggies as opposed to artificial flavors and fillers. More of an occasional treat than an every day thing, especially since a smoothie doesn’t fill me up for lunch.

Overpriced smoothies! For what you get from other smoothie places, this was just not worth the effort to go to. They have interesting concoctions but for what you pay for, you might as well have an entrée somewhere.

Good juices, but way too pricey. Something I’d treat myself once in a while… since I work in the area. Otherwise, I’d save my moolah for Jamba Juice.

This is a self-important version of Jamba Juice with more of a medicinal spin to it. So, yes there are some tasty smoothes and juices, but c’mon how bad could a bad smoothie get. It’s a healthful alternative to «grabbing coffee» in the World Financial Center, but hot damn it’s pricy.

If I were reviewing the smoothies, This place would be getting 4 or 5 stars. Cool, tasty, and satisfying smoothies are served up here, with a variety of choices and add-ins available. I believe they try to cater towards a healthier crowd, so you can pick from things like wheatgrass, protein, energy, and relaxation supplements. It seems like a bit of a marketing ploy in my opinion, but for those who want these things, they are available to be added to the good tasting drinks. Now the bad. Things are way too pricy. The five dollar daily special is the only thing I can afford to order from here. Otherwise, smoothies start at 6 dollars and the price can skyrocket from there. They also sell healthy-ish lunch foods like wraps and salads, but these start at 8 bucks, and are generally smaller than something you could order from elsewhere. Overall, not a bad place, especially if you take advantage of their«Buy 10, get 1 free» smoothie card, but the value of this place is a bit questionable.

Had a few smoothies… they were good… but expensive… Service is a little slow… I like that they have small food items to choose from… The Curry Mango tuna wrap was quite tasty… But!!! they took forever to make my wheatgrass shot. I miss my Jamba Juice very much… and there is no comparison. If they were here… I probably wouldn’t visit Elixir at all… so that wraps it up my friends…

It has a good amount of juices and smoothies to choose from, along with some packaged salads. I usually go with the green juice and a quinoa salad for lunch. Green juice price is on par with other juice bars in NY — but that being said, this becomes a very pricey lunch if you get it everyday. i should really think about investing in a juicer…

A smoothie is a poor way to blow your lunch money. I have to admit, though, that I’m guilty of doing it sometimes because I get the occasional craving for something with apple cider and pineapple in it. The thing with Elixir is that the service is spotty. One day they’re the nicest people in the world, and the next day they’re annoyed that you walked into the store in the middle of a conversation. When their credit card reader breaks, it takes weeks upon weeks to repair, and they like to roll their eyes at you everytime you forget to tell them what size you want before ordering your drink – what gives?
