Delicious sweets, had the French toast here and it was amazingly tasty and generous in portion size. However my partner had the pizza burger and cheesy fries and found it a little flavourless– I can attest. That being said, good place to pop by for huge breakfast or brunch servings on the weekend. Nice and quiet too!

This is by far the worst customer service I have ever had. They screwed up my order and put it in as a pick up. Then said they’d deliver it. Then refused to deliver it because it was «too far». So I have to get in a taxi to go over there and pick it up or lose my money. So now a 25 dollar lunch is turning into nearly 50. They were extremely rude and unapologetic on the phone. I will need EVER order from here again. Absolutely unacceptable!

Great little spot hidden amongst the tall nondescript buildings of the UN neighborhood. The place is as narrow as a corridor but has a friendly staff with a fun chalked menu overhanging the servers– wish it had more description or a list of item options, but they are quick to offer a paper menu. i ordered the prosciutto signature sandwich (since I’m a sucker for prosciutto), featuring tomatoes, basil, and fresh mozzarella. I originally thought it was supposed to have peppers, but maybe I was mistaken. The helping of prosciutto was extremely generous. It tasted a little bit like thinly sliced deli ham. instead of prosciutto, but it was good nonetheless. Will be back here again on my walk home from work. There is literally nothing else here, so glad to see some life.

Food was good. Made well and good quality. Ordered a toscano panini with salad. A bit expensive for me and it was almost all oil for my oil and vinegar dressing so more of a 3.5 rating.

One of the top rated restaurants in my area on Seamless, so I gave it a shot.
I got the classic press panini for lunch, which came with their awesome thick cut crispy fries. The panini was on what looked like cuban bread which is better than that flatbread crap some delis use. It had turkey, ham, swiss, and honey mustard — a classic but great combo. The fries were my favorite part of the meal, and luckily they serve a generous portion.
Delivery was super fast and everything was nicely packaged and fresh. My only complaint is that it’s a bit pricey for lunch — about $ 13 for a sandwich and fries. They should consider a lunch special for a few hours.
This easily became bookmarked as a lunch spot.

For anyone who walks by this place would not know it has a great outdoor space at the back where you can order full brunch menu. The front is simply a small café.
My bf lives around the area, he took me there on a Saturday for brunch around 11am. Although you are surrounded by buildings, but you are away from all the city noises. Not crowded, definitely a good place to enjoy your quiet time and have a good conversation without being disturbed.
I ordered a grilled cheese with bacon. I’m picky with my grilled cheese, this place was okay. Bacon makes it better, it is a bit salty. My bf ordered omelet, and it was a bit too dry. The food was just okay.
Service is friendly. The lady works there also works at the counter in the front, but she would come to the back and check upon us and fill out water.
Overall, enjoyable experience for the privacy outdoor space.

I’ve had a number of client and colleague lunches here, and have never had a bad experience. It actually is the most pleasant lunch experience around the UN. From the outside it looks like nothing special, but they surprisingly have a lovely outdoor patio. While it can get full during lunch hours, 9 out of 10 times I’ve been able to dine outside — something I find solace in this crazy city!
The prices are reasonable if you’re looking for an inexpensive client lunch. I’ve had a few of the salads but the Elite Food Bar salad is by far my favorite — walnuts, blue cheese, cranberries — yum. I also had chicken on it and they give you a hearty potion! Only needed to eat half and was reasonably full. Could save half for dinner! Also I recommend the Santorini wrap very tasty. All soups have been delicious. Basically, this place rocks.

I love elite. I am here at least two to three times a week. Teddy the owner is great. I alternate between the sausage and egg sandwich and the bacon and egg sandwich. I’ve also had burgers and salads for lunch. A friendly and consistently delicious spot!

Pleasantly surprised by this place. Needed a quick bite to eat, and here it was. Ordered the Cajun Chicken Wrap that came with an abundance of fries and a whole pickle. Actually quite tasty. Not much to say I guess, except if you need a place to just grab something for a satisfying lunch near the UN, come to the elite food bar!

Wow, THANK YOU SEAMLESS for introducing me to this place. One Sunday after some night-​before-​shenanigans my body was in desperate need of eggy fuel, yet didn’t want to leave the bed for diner grub. This place had good reviews and a nice-​sized breakfast menu so off I went!
I ordered an omelet which was absolutely delicious, not runny, and packed with all the ham, cheese, and veggies to my heart and stomach’s content. A shoutout goes to the potatoes too which were equally plentiful and excellent.
The only reason I’m not giving a full five-​stars is because their iced drinks are way overpriced. Almost $ 7 for an iced cappuccino is a tad much in my opinion… though it was pretty good, just not worth a small fortune.

Love this place. I order breakfast from here almost every weekend. They do amazing egg sandwiches with cheese! I’ve also tried their pancakes, French toast, bacon, sausage and Omelettes. Everything is good.
For lunch, try their paninis or soups. My favorite is the chicken noodle soup — way better than my moms. The delivery guys are always polite and friendly.

I love these guys, I really do. They do the best diner breakfast in town. Especially the egg/​bacon/​cheese sandwich. The sandwich is hot. They don’t put cold cheese on a cold roll and pop the eggs in. Everything is warm. This is a major tic of mine. I hate when people do that. Their regular egg platters are very good also.
Anyhow, the delivery guy I get every morning is a treat. He works his way through the bowels of my office to find me (I always call way before reception is here), smile on his face and a pleasant greeting.
I’m only giving them 4 stars because I’ve never done lunch there, so I can’t speak to that.

This place is a diner, but with better quality control and a bit of pride. I got a veggie burger with fries and the fries were diner fries and I’m 95% sure the veggie burger was Dr. Praegers, instead of morningstar or something. Still, a frozen burger. Nothing to write home about.
The salads people were eating around me looked pretty good.
But, still, it’s diner food. Look at the food pictures.

Big portions with good food for a decent price.
I never sat in to eat here but I have order delivery from elite food bar during my stay in NY.
The delivery man came within 15 mins and I was surprised at how big the portions are. Definitely recommend trying this place out

Few of us decided to have lunch and we remembered we hadn’t been to Elite for a while. We love the outdoor casual seating.
We were there 12:30pm to avoid the luchtime rush. They were very helpful and didn’t rush us. The food was delicious. I had noticed the huge salad bowls and decided to have the small chicken salad. And it was way too much for me. It was very delicious and I couldn’t finish it! I also had ordered side order of fries. I was hoping they would have sweet potato fries, but they don’t offer it.
We’ll go there soon! I highly recommend it!
