Elevee

Note: this review is not about the brick and mortar location for this particular Elevee store, but the overall quality of Elevee’s tailoring. I ordered from Chicago IL.
Bespoke clothing should fit better and consist of higher quality materials, finishing, and tailoring than off-​the-​rack products. I have several excellent bespoke suits from a company that is not in business anymore. Based on that overall positive experience (slow though it was), I went with Elevee.
Overall, the quality of Elevee’s tailoring and materials was startlingly poor. The stitching of the lining was very uneven, even going extending beyond the external shell in some places. It actually looked like someone who had never tailored a suit before had worked on it. The pants did not fit well – way too tight at first and then way too loose in the seat after the alteration. After the second alteration to the pants, I just gave up and stuck with what I had (each additional tailoring required several weeks to complete – on top of the 8 weeks for initial delivery). After four wears, the pant started splitting up the seam at the cuff. Absolutely unacceptable for a tailored suit.
I gave this two stars and not one because the Elevee rep that I worked with was generally very willing to address my concerns about the product and the initial product selection was reasonably efficient. The fit of the jacket was excellent in spite of the lack of quality of the stitching.
I would never recommend Elevee to anyone – it was more expensive than off-​the-​rack and the quality was worse – a bad combination.

Fine men’s clothing. Shop in style with the designer. Many of their customers include professional athletes. They have been featured in Esquire Magazine and appropriately voted the best suit makers in the country. I am planning to get my husband a custom made tux and they walked me through their assortment of textiles. I absolutely love this shop and Bijan the designer/​sales manager who is such a professional! They also sell off the rack shirts ties and golf attire.
