The Dubin Breast Center is an EXCELLENT place to go if you have breast cancer or told that you need a biopsy to see whether you do or not. All WOMENMUST choose a BREASTCENTER, please!!! Do NOT let a local radiology office conduct any steps other than an initial mammogram!!! I am currently receiving chemotherapy at Dubin. My breast surgeon was kind, professional, knowledgeable, & kept me at ease as well as my oncologist. The staff is wonderful, especially the infusion staff! Everyone has been courteous. An important factor is that your doctors @ Dubin are involved with direct cancer research, gathering new & breakthrough information and treatments. This outweighs any slight problem or inconveniences that may arise, it happens everywhere @ some time or another, we all strive for excellence. God bless!

Let me preface this review by saying that for some people this place would probably be five stars but for me it was a horrible fit. I was referred to them for surgery after receiving a concerning biopsy result indicating that I had a «high-risk benign mass.» The type I had was rare and not even my usual Dr had heard of it, so I walked through their doors completely confused and terrified, especially since there was a chance malignant cells were hiding in the mass and there was no way to know until it was surgically removed. The office itself is very nice, although it made me a little uneasy because it’s almost like they’re trying too hard to make you relax, complete with a huge TV playing scenes of nature and music. All the staff were very nice and the wait wasn’t too long. But my surgeon did not make me feel at ease. She wouldn’t give me any info no matter how much I asked, just kept saying«don’t worry, you’ll be fine.» For some people that’s great, but for me, I want information and the less I have, the more panic sets in. So, I did some research on my own, not on google but through peer-reviewed academic literature. When I called to ask more questions, I got a huge lecture about how I shouldn’t go on google. No answers, just a lecture. Luckily I had a colleague who had gone through breast cancer the previous year and she was able to put me in touch with her PA from Beth Israel who was able to speak with me for 5 min and answer all my questions. That was all it took! The surgery itself went well technically but again was much more stressful than it should’ve been. I was given a date for the procedure but no other info. When I tried to ask more, I kept being told we’ll discuss when the date’s closer. The day before my surgery, I still didn’t have any info, including when I had to stop eating or what time the surgery was. I kept calling, being told someone would call me back. I really lost it when I got a call at 2pm from the billing dept telling me how much money to bring for my copay. Finally, I was able to find out details of my surgery at 4pm the day before. Overall this place caused the process to be much, much more stressful than it needed to be. Luckily I didn’t have cancer, but if I ever do get breast cancer, there’s no way I’ll be going here. But if having information makes you worry and you just want to be told you’ll be fine, this place is five stars.

Had an MRI performed and the staff was just unbelievably friendly. Tip: if you are having a breast MRI, avoid eating too much or drinking too many fluids as you are lying on your tummy for ½ hour practically and you may feel everything creeping up. Eat lightly and digest before exam.
