VERY SMALL STORE. Only about 1⁄3 of the Duane Reade about three blocks up on Broadway.
So, if you think they might not have what you’re looking for… they probably don’t.
Also, if you’re claustrophobic, I’d suggest avoiding this location because the aisles are tightly packed in.

Oh lordy, I don’t know what pills the first reviewer had forgotten to take before writing the review, but I cannot go silent.
This place ain’t sweet staffed, it’s exorbitant prices are criminal at best, it’s selection is never constant. For me, living in the building, it is definitely a last stop in a real emergency.
Personally, Duane Reade needs to wise up, learn something about customer service and competitive pricing, or it will be out of business soon enough. Personally I would rather use
and see the current store replaced with a nice diner.

Duane Reade generally sucks, between their inflated prices, service with a grunt philosophy, and limited selection. This particular location has turned me off of all DRs. After waiting 45 minutes for the idiot in the pharmacy to fill my prescription, I got home and realized they’d given me someone else’s. And they weren’t even good meds.

I cant imagine working in this horrible environment. The staff and ambiance is awful. We just bought a loaf of bread, as our local bodega was out, and we got home only to realize we’d just purchased expired bread…
And the ATTITUDE of the workers… not that I can blame them, I’d want to die too if i worked there.

Pharmacy has limited meds and limited hours. I prefer CVS over Duane Reade. This is a good fix for when you need something right away if you like in the 1 West building…

I prefer the controlled prices and selection here compared to the other BPC pharmacy on South End Street.
