Very honest and helpful people working at this store. Left my sunglasses on top of ATM machine around midnite. Went back about 12 hours later and the man and woman at cash register were both nice and professional. Handed me my glasses right there from the shelf behind counter in a minute! Thank you to the crew at DR:-)

Great products. Great location and unfortunately this review has to do with the lack of professionalism with one of their members of staff. This member of staff seems to have an issue with mixed race individuals. The constant racial remarks and racial slurs is very disturbing from one of the women behind the cash registers. I really like this company and I will still shop at this location despite the consistent negative comments that I am subjected to. The manager should perhaps take the time & effort to monitor her behavior. Truly sorry that they did not screen this person before hiring her, because she is giving this company a very bad reputation

Did mystery shopping, took some pictures and did some customer service analysis to help the owner of this store and I have to say, this store is awesome! Service is amazing! Very clean and well organize :) 2 thumbs up :) Keep up the good work!

I am a patient. I went to fill a prescription and the pharmacist thought the dose unlikely. While I was there, he called my doctor’s office and explained that it did not sound right to him. When they insisted it was, he repeated his misgivings, but they continued to insist the dose was correct. He then filled the prescription for me, saying that he was doing so because it was possibly, although unlikely, correct. But he cautioned me to call my doctor. When I got my doctor on the phone she agreed that indeed, the prescription was not what she had intended.
In general I find the pharmacy department professional and helpful.

I’m a doctor and I called this pharmacy twice in the last two days to discuss a medication. The first day the pharmacist basically couldn’t tell me anything and asked me to call back the next day because he wasn’t the «regular» pharmacist. The second day the pharmacist didn’t know what drug I was talking about and couldn’t comprehend what I was saying.
The final straw… They wanted $ 365 for a medication that another local pharmacy charged my client $ 65 for. Same medication, same dose, same quantity. The Duane Reade pharmacist had no explanation for the price difference.
Take your business elsewhere.

This Duane Reade is actually pretty awesome.
#1) Snacks and Beer are right up front on the 1^st Floor, so this is a wonderful grab and go location.
#2) Open 24 — 7
#3) Well lit, tall ceilings, great selection.
#4) Employees actually seemed somewhat happy to be there (a shocker).
All in all, I was impressed. This is going to be my go-to location from here on out.
