Dreamer’s Pizza

I’m having Alexander’s Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day and needed to eat my feelings away. A friend recommended Dreamers since the pizza is good and the service friendly. Boy did it hit the spot! Two regular slices and a can of soda for five bucks was just what I needed for my emotional eating binge (look it really was that bad of a day). As I was waiting, another incredible looking pie came out. It was bubbling and oozing with cheese and grease and BBQ chicken goodness. As if I can’t see the ingredients with my own two bug eyes I asked what it was. The guy proceeded to name every single ingredient and the love with which it was made. He earned by extra three bucks. I walked out with three slices of which I ate one and shared the other two. I’m not mad about it. That BBQ chicken slice was sweet and scrumptious. One of my students described the crust as «crunchuous.» Is there a better compliment for a pizza crust?! Dreamers is my new pizza spot in East Harlem.

Their pizza is pretty amazing. I have family members who come over just so we can order the buffalo chicken pizza from dreamers :) I love that they have so many options AND especially love their organic whole wheat dough!

Literally the worst pizza I’ve ever had in New York. It was like bad frozen pizza. Don’t order their pizza.

Long (10 minute) waits for the most basic orders (ie, regular slice, pepperoni slice). Pizza was saltier than I prefer, but the slices are big.

Pizza is ok, but wings are not good at all. Wouldn’t order again on Sunday/​Monday night football. Game was good, food was below average.

Filthy. While waiting at the counter, saw 5 or 6 little mice scurrying in and out from under the oven. Needless to say, I walked right out, never to return. Ew! Just gross.
Should get 0 stars and a visit from the Department of Health.

It took me 8 months to find a great pizza place in East Harlem. I won’t go anywhere else!

Typical small New York pizzeria. Greasy thin slices of pizza. Front counter person friendly and fast. Nothing special or momentous.

Very quick but too greesy for my taste. They have a lot of other choices than just pizza, which are a lot better tho. Don’t think I’ll be ordering from them again but I wouldn’t totally call them off for the future.

Without a doubt, the most abominable pizza one earth.
Pizza arrived cold and a grayish-​white color. The cheese was the texture of cake frosting and, literally, glued to the pizza dough. I knew right away something was wrong and therefore, didn’t risk tasting it. I immediately called Dreamer’s and the moron who answered, insisted that he just made the pizza fresh. Ha! I told him there was no way he did b/​c there wasn’t even grease stains in the bottom of the pizza box, which would indicate it was just made. I don’t know what alley dumpster they pulled this pizza out of, but these bastards need to put out of business before they poison someone to death.
Oh, and I ended up having to go through Seamless to get my money back b/​c Dreamer’s REFUSED to come get their pizza and refund me.

Had Dreamer’s for the first time today (delivery). Holy moly! This might be the best pizza I have come across yet. Lots of toppings, fresh, and delicious. Will definitely order again soon! Highly recommended.

Absolutely worst delivery. After going down twice and back and forth phone calls they got to my door. With cold, carboard pizza absolute worst pizza ive had. Skip this place and try elsewhere-​ANYWHERE. it will be better than dreamers

Fantastic Eggplant! Just moved into neighborhood from Brooklyn where I had 26 year relationship with a local pizzeria who had wonderful eggplant. I’ll be starting my new relationship with Dreamer’s. Eggplant was tender, light, and sliced perfectly. Sauce was tasty and just the right amount of parm. Generous portion and priced right. Delivery on time and courteous.

Never again. I was super excited to find a spot in the neighborhood offering whole wheat pizza. First time I ordered a pie with pineapples, ham, and sausage. The sausages were good put the ham was gross I had to throw it out. Also, my pie was burnt on the bottom. The delivery guy who was chatting on the phone when he came to the door initially have me the wrong pie but luckily I checked it at the door.
Today, I was desperate and decided to try again. I order the veal parm sandwhich and the chicken roll. The veal was super chewy likely from being frozen and defrosted multiple times. The chicken roll simply was not something I would recommend. I got it with mozzarella and tomatoes. The bread was brushed multiple times in butter and was very greasy; even for a chicken roll. The chicken seems to be is a reg frozen patty chopped up and not seasoned. The tomato appeared to be fresh.
Still waiting to find decent pizza with fresh ingredients in the neighborhood.

Somebody told me to hit up the local taco truck nearby, but I love pizza, so when I saw DREAMER’S pizza, I was drawn in like a superconducting magnet.
The place wasn’t too busy, but the guys behind the counter were pizza making pizza. They seemed so bored. Or unhappy. Maybe they could turn a radio on back their and liven up the place. It also took forever to warm up my two slices, and they came out extra hot, burning my mouth because who wants to wait for pizza?!
The white pizza was quite good, but there was way too much ricotta cheese on it. Ricotta is so bland that it needs garlic salt on it or something. Not a bad white slice though. I got a slice of pepperoni was well, and it was unmemorable except for the vast amount of orange grease that dripped from the slice and pooled onto my paper plate as I ate. The sauce was weak and thin, the cheese was okay but the slice was too hot for me to taste it well. The crust was probably the better part of the pizza, and OH, the slices are quite large. Now I know why the gentleman ahead of me specifically asked for his slice to not be «too warm.»

Decent enough pizza since there is next to nothing to choose from in this neighborhood. However, the fact that they don’t have slices available on a Friday night at 10pm is just pathetic.

Pizza was decent except that when I took a bite into it I bite into a hard shell that after some investigation looked like a piece of acorn shell… not one bite but 2 with the same result before I called them…1 hour later I am still waiting for my replacement pizza.
They also charged me for a 2L Diet Coke but sent a small bottle.
NEVER AGAIN.

i rate this place a three because it is good but I did have this one problem.
I come and order my pizza then another man comes and orders the same thing. ok the guy puts one slice in the oven I’m thinking its mine. he gives the pizza to the guy who came after me and I thought that he put another slice in their for me. I look at the man who took my slice like what? i ask the man is my slice in there? he says yes five minutes later he asks me oh did you order? this place sells good food but should not make the same mistake again

From my tips
2.8. Had a single cheese slice which was OK. Was 2.40 Which is not cheap for the quality. Crust cheese was fine, too little sauce. Not good enough to spend that cash. Lowering it down a notch as I have had better pizza for half the price.
