I’ve been a loyal customer of Dor L’ Dor for years, but I’m afraid my relationship with this store has come to an end. I bought a pair of snowboots at the end of the season and stored them away until the snow came again. Once I put them on the other day, I found that they were way too big(despite being my size). I took them back for exchange and the store refused, after initially telling me that I could exchange them. I’m walking around with feet getting soaked each time it snows because my sneakers aren’t built for snow. NOW I DON’T HAVEMYMONEYORMYBOOTS& I can’t afford to buy them twice! I’m so disappointed in this store. I expected more given how long I’ve been a good customer, but I guess the loyalty was one-sided all along.

This was far the worst experience I have ever encountered at a clothing store. The people who work here are rude and do not accommodate customers needs. They charged me two times for something I did not buy and made me come back to the store three times for their mistake. As well, the saleslady gave me the wrong shoe size and I did not realize until I came home and put on the shoes to realize they were too tight. When I went back to the store to return them, they refused to make an even exchange when it was clearly the saleslady’s wrongdoing. I was a loyal customer who shopped at this store on a regular basis but now I am no longer a customer here. I have told my friends who shop at this store about my experience and they were in complete disbelief and will no longer shop here as well.

Let’s call it your«Big Girl Forever 21 Boutique«. The store is packed with trendy merchandise below $ 40. The staff keeps to themselves. The racks are packed to capacity and completely disorganized. You are very lucky to find something you like in a the correct size. However, the disorganization of the store actually gives it more of a boutique feel which makes every item you find a little bit more special and unique. The store is without a question a big hit-or-miss spot. There was a time where nothing in the store fit me(I’m a size 6)… But, the next time I went I purchased a large bag full of items!

Located on the corner of East 41st street, Dor L’ Dor sells cute clothes to working women. The style ranges from day wear to night club. It looks like an elevated Forever 21 store for women who want something a bit more mature. A small store, much of the clothes appear sloppy. The clothes pile up on the racks. Given the time, you can find some cute clothes for a good price hidden in the racks. The clutter makes it hard to shop. I find the sales clerk lacking any zeal and appear tired. They look like they don’t want to be there. Perhaps if they were trained properly, they will project a better attitude? On the positive side, the window mannequins look wonderful. Tastefully done, it draws patrons to this store. Once in a while I like to pass by this store to see the window mannequins. I think this is the best part of the store.

Great store! I originally found them on shoptiques and decided to check them out in person. I was definitely not disappointed! they have a wonderful selection of trendy clothing all at a really great price. I like that the girls that work there don’t bother you and aren’t pushy. overall, would totally recommend this store.

Dor L’Dor is like a glorified Forever 21. What I like about it is the amount of cute clothes for the price. They have very trendy items that won’t break your wallet or heart if they fall apart after a couple of washes because let’s face it Forever 21 is a one-time wear store. I shop this store online a lot through Shoptiques which is super convenient for me living in CT. Whenever I’m in NYC I do like to stop in to see if they have anything cute they didn’t have online. If you’re looking for traditional store service like«hello’s» and«how can I help you?» then go somewhere else. This place is definitely a self-serve store. I don’t find the employees to be friendly here. I guess they don’t hire people with friendly personalities.

I around here all the time and pass by this store often. I been meaning to go in but for some reason always found this store intimidating so I just get passing it. I decided to be brave and just venture in. I came in and they had some nice clothes but I was looking for dresses since I have several weddings this year. I was very happy to find 2 dresses that fit really nice and weren’t super expensive. I also checked the shoes upstairs but they didn’t have anything that I really liked or wanted.

Really kind staff Super cute clothes for women in late teens to twenties mainly, located conveniently but not very busy that you need to wait like 20minutes to use the dressing room, varied types of clothes so there’s something for everyone. Everything’s organized by color and pattern. The price is also reasonable; I’d say little more expensive than H&m or Forever21 but less than Express

I used to come here a good amount on my lunch break until one day I want to know the size of a jacket that was on display. I unzipped the jacket to look and lucky me it was my size! I went and asked the African American man who was styling the clothes if I could buy the jacket, he then began to YELL –literally shout– at me telling me I can’t purchase clothes on display, how dare unzip the jacket, look at the amount of work I’m creating him and continued to belittle me in front if other customers –who stared at him in disgust. When I asked the sales associate if I could speak to the manager, she told me that she was busy, I then asked her for the number of the owners. She proceeded to give me a business card –no number– and told me I could email the information email and someone might get back to me. It was clear all the employees, including the manager, were afraid of this stylist –who isn’t even good– and we’re not properly trained on how to handle the situation… I wonder what the better business bureau would say? What lovely customer service and business ethnics they have

fabulous store if you need a last-minute look for less. it’s an awesome alternative for those that live in midtown and don’t want to deal with the mess of forever 21 in Herald or Times Square!

Cheap, terrible fitting clothing! The people who work there are all miserable and have no energy. They are completely unprofessional and unhelpful. I really disliked my experience shopping here.

i found this store when i started a new job nearby. its great for when you need an outfit last minute, i am always able to find something. most of the items are very reasonably priced and it is much easier to shop here then chain stores. also a nice bonus is if you need an item in a different size, they can locate it at other stores and it can be delivered to this location. so the customer service here has always been excellent!

Great boutique type of store, unique pieces, well organized, nice staff and great pricing. I recently discovered it(by accident) and am in love! The chandeliers and great location are also a super big plus!

My friend described this place as «a grade up from Forever 21» and she was exactly right. The clothes they sell are for going out/work clothes. The store is not nearly as messy as Forever 21, but you still have to dig through the racks. Great place to find basic clothing necessities as well– colored tank tops, cardigans, skirts. I bought two tops there, $ 20 a piece, which I can wear both out and professionally. The prices are reasonable and the quality seems to be better then your average Forever 21 wannabe store. The true test will be when I wash them. Def worth the visit if you need to buy something last minute.

This place isn’t quite my style, but I still kind of love it. I worked for a year on 41st and loved walking by it every day, looking at the dresses in the window. This is a great place to get an item for a party or an interesting piece for your wardrobe. They also have a few basic items and I’m unfortunately revealing how boring I am, but I love them! I bought a bunch of plain heathered t-shirts from Dor L’Dor that were from a company I had never heard of before. I also bought two cardigans to go over tank tops and a pair of tight black pants. Maybe one day I will work up the nerve to buy a dress here because I think they are funky and cooler than I am …

Walked by a couple of times in a rush and kept reminding myself to make a note to visit it one day. Never found the time to go until today and they had some cute fashionable items. Quality is ok, but definitely can find a unique piece in there. There are 2 floors. Clothes on the main floor along w/jewelry. Shoes, sales and fitting rooms are on the 2nd floor.
