Quick. Simple. No Frills. This is a small local business made for a quick bite. 2 Cheese Pizzas with a Soda = $ 5.50.
Cheese Pizza — sweet sauce, thin crust, crispy bottom. I enjoyed it.
FYI– Not a place to set up shop and do work.

guess the saying goes you get what you pay for… or in this place’s case what you overpay for.
how hard is it to get an order of pepperoni right AND how long should it take for my slice to come out warm? if the answer is more than 5 minutes than you’ve got a real winner (loser) here.
not going to come back.

There are SO MANY great little pizza joints in New York, but for me, this is not one of them. Their sauce is very sweet and runny. It tasted like I remember Spaghetti-​Os (by Chef Boyardee) tasting when I was a little kid. It seriously had a sweet taste and was pretty thin.
This is also a «dirtier than most» place. NY pizza places aren’t exactly spotless, but when we walked in we were the ONLY customers, yet there were NO clean tables available. I started to walk to a table toward the back, but when I saw crumbs and liquid on the last table, an employee said, «Oh, I’ll move that». Thinking he was going to wipe it down for us, he simply removed the cleaning bottle and rag that were sitting on the table! It was funny.
The entire time we were there — around 20 minutes — no one cleaned any of the tables.
I’d easily just get this pizza to go but the sauce is so yucky that I’ll skip this place and keep walking next time.

Was just in here last week to pick up a few pies. It’s my family’s favorite spot in the whole city. The bread crumbs on the bottom of the pizza are so delicious and unique. I highly recommend the fresh mozzarella margarita pizza or buffalo chicken!

Always love grabbing a quick slice from here. Two regular cheese slices and a soda 5.50 with tax can’t beat it when you’re trying to grab lunch in TriBeCa. Noticed they really fixed up the place since the last time I checked it out. Looks nice

Terrible Customer service, employees seems like they are talking to the wall + don’t hear well… Pizza is good I have to give them that. Oh one more thing do not order a delivery because you will never get it.

Do not eat pizza at this establishment if you are a New Yorker or know good pizza. The sauce is candy sweet. It almost tasted like something from a Prego can. The crust had this weird crumb that I am assuming is semolina to prevent sticking. yuck.

Wandered in here in our trip and got a slice of grandma’s pizza as it came hot out of the oven. It was fantastic and the the crust was perfection!

I usually stay away from pizza places with tons of already cooked pies sitting in there case. But I was on a limited budget. The white slice was delish and the slice I asked to cut from their fresh regular cheese was also delish. The crust was and is amazing. Just crispy enough without it being too crispy. I think the language barrier with the pizza guy made it seem like he was rude, but prolly didn’t understand much. And the owner or manager was a little rough around the edges. But a true new yorker Italian and it didn’t bother me since I’m from Brooklyn and I’d rather real than fake. I cab see how some people might be rubbed the wrong way. The pizza is great! And they even let me add garlic oil from the knots on my pizza. ILL DEF. GO BACK

I tried ordering food during the lunchtime rush. Asked if there was a menu aside from the ad for 2 slices & drink for $ 5 + tax. I was told no in a brusque manner but still decided to get in the line which seemed to have no end.
I then attempted to ask one of the workers pricing of a slice 3 times and received no response. I was excited to see they had slices without cheese (rare in NY) but walked out due to the poor customer service.
IF YOU DON’T LIKE PEOPLE CONSTANTLY ASKING FOR PRICES, THEN PUT UP A MENU!
I ended up going to FAMIGLIA up the block where I was able to get a plate of delicious pasta with garlic knots for the same price as their pizza special, the customer service was on point, and THEY HAVE A VISIBLE MENU.
Now I don’t want to judge them off of one negative interaction so I will try again and update the review.

Love this pizza! I’m from Chicago and this has to be one of my favorite NY style pizzas. I always stop in here when I’m in Tribecca. The owner is a great guy. He’s always real nice and remember me when I come visit.

Horrific customer service! My pizza tasted like it had ketchup instead of sauce!!! I took 1 bite and threw it out, not even the rat on the street liked it. (Truth)

Two slices of cheese pizza for $ 5.00. Crappy crust, sugary sauce and tasteless cheese. Just garbage. Also saw flies in the seating area. I also don’t like food places that keep their doors open. Street pollution, etc enters the shop and falls right on the food. No one knows how to make pizza anymore. Seems like a new crew working there, two middle eastern dudes slinging pizza. Authentic right?

This review is for horrendous customer service. I called this pizza place because I believe I was erroneously charged $ 42 from an order on their website. When the person who answered couldn’t help me, the owner came to the line. He said I had to call Seamless or GrubHub. I reiterated that I had made the order directly through his site and he proceeded to tell me that the website does not have online ordering. I asked him to please go to a computer and look at his own website so he could see that they do in fact have online ordering, and he said he would not. I now have to refute the charge through my credit card company.
UPDATE: The owner finally reached out to me, after the credit card refute was settled (in my favor) and offered to make it up to me next time I’m in NY and can come into the restaurant. I’m therefore upping my review from one to two stars, but I won’t be going back.

Solid plain slice. If you like your pizza well done and your crust crunchy, then this will be enjoyable. Not the best I’ve ever had but the sauce was tasty.

Was here for work and while chatting with some co-​workers about finding a place to eat a local business woman suggested this place. It was a good call to listen to the random stranger.
Pizza was good. The 5 of us had 7 different slices and we were all happy. Hard to sit and standing was a challenge too at about 12pm on a Friday, For me $ 9.50 for a fountain soda, eggplant parm slice and a peperoni slice. Not bad.
Two complaints. One is probably an anomaly. There was a leak that made a big portion of the floor slippery,
2^nd is an easy fix. My eggplant parm slice was not fully warmed up. My bet is that it was so busy that they just wanted to churn us out fast as possible.

Two Stars
I was craving a slice and decided on this place. It smelled decent but that was the extent of it. A quasi homeless ask for a slice of cheese and clerk held one finger. Then this amazing conversation happen.
Woman: Can I have two slices?
Clerk: okay, that will be $ 5
Woman: I thought the slices were a dollar
Clerk: no they are two fifty
Woman: but you held up 1 finger
Clerk: I held one finger asking if you wanted 1 slice
Woman: I only have $ 2
I ordered a pepperoni and sausage. The slice was okay. The crust was crispy. The sauce was sweet. The meat was salty. The cheese tasted old.

Pizza was giant and pretty good, definitely worth it for the price. We also got the sausage and pepper roll which was loaded with sausage but just lacked a little in taste. Overall would order again!
Service is terrible sometimes and decent other times.

Annoyed.
Ordered a Pepperoni Slice with Extra Cheese.
Guy said they were out so he threw some Pepperoni on top of a Cheese Slice, and threw Cheese on top of the Pepperoni.
Got to the Job, took 2 bites and was Raw.
I WILL JUST HAVE $ 1 Pizza from Joey Pepperoni.

I love their grandma pizza. The sauce is sweet and thick. Love the chewy salty crust.
Their plain slice is good but the crunchy things on the bottom is too much for me.
Good for quick slice, reliable.
