Fast Delivery fast, maybe but awful food. Ordered shrimp parmigiana hero(came as half a hero) and soggy and tasteless and a side order of spaghetti(3 tablespoonfulls at MOST that covered half of a small container). So many great takeouts in Tribeca. Pass on this place.

We were approached by our server within 2 minutes of seating. Granted it was not packed but the service was great throughout the meal. We even had a nice visit from the owner Joe! There are 2 things on the menu that I have tried that I die for. 1– baked eggplant parm. It comes with veggies and a potato croquette. The sauce is perfect and has the right amount of cheese too. That’s my go-to. I wanna say a healthier option because it’s baked not fried but… yes let’s just go with healthy. 2-Bufalina pizza. The dough(which I imagine is the same for most of the pies here) is absolutely perfect. Chewy and crispy. I’m practically drooling right now. Then on top of this heavenly crust you have the sweet and tangy pizza sauce with dollops of buffalo mozzarella. Other important things– full bar, great service, indoor and outdoor seating, family owned! I can’t think of what else to say. Check it out for yourself.

I found this place by chance. I was with some friends and were all in the mood for brick oven Pizza and drinks. Pizza was awesome especially the truffle Pizza. Drinks are well priced and staff are very friendly. Good choice for anyone in the mood for great pizza.

Okay so I had to downgrade them because they decided to stop giving free refills on soda. The waitress mentioned it so I said I didn’t want it and she came back with it any way and then copped an attitude when I said that I didn’t want it. I basically got 4 ounces of soda because I have a cup full of ice for $ 2. This is also the second time a wait person here has copped an attitude after screwing up my order. I actually come here pretty frequently. The pizza is good but the pasta is uninspired.

The pizza is great — thin crusts, crispy from the wood fired oven. The cocktails are great, too. The further out into the menu you get, the more ordinary it becomes. And, there’s no real ambiance — high ceiling, televisions on the wall, loud music. But the prices are reasonable, and if you stick to the basics it is a solid neighborhood place to drop in after work or on a weekend.

They had me at «wood fired pizza» and they will have me again! This spot is great for lunch and I’m assuming dinner(next time). My coworker and I started off with a tasty Caesar salad and ended with the pepperoni personal pie that we also split. The flavors were on point and the burnt crust was exactly what I’ve been craving. Their wine selection was tempting but I was on duty… until next time!

Ambience is cute, staff is friendly, prices are affordable. The food is where it falls short. Stiff bread, bland flavoring… And a lot of the dishes we ordered did not have a homemade authentic taste. I’ve had A LOT of Italian food in my day, and I can tell when marinara is from a can and not even really seasoned to try to jazz it up. Why go out and pay to dine when I can just boil some noodles and throw a can of tomato sauce on top? Way too many other great Italian places in NY to end up eating here.

Ordered from here and they sent the wrong food. Called them and got the typical lie about how the right food just left(why do the restaurants always lie about when/if the food has left? It gets proven a lie right away!) they seem to be totally disorganized, but in this case they’re stealing customers money and not doing anything to fix it. DONOTORDER

Good Italian food is so easy to find in New York City that the bar is high for me. Perhaps this is more«pizza» than«pasta». If so, I would cite several examples of pizza houses that make fantastic lasagna. Tre Sorelle did not really cut it for me. My veal parmigiana was OK. Her penne vodka was not as good as vodka sauce I’ve tasted at cheaper restaurants or, out of a jar. The pasta was sticky, gooey. The décor is attractive, which is part of the reason I wanted to try Tre Sorelle. However, the large screen TVs create a cheesy and contrasting atmosphere. Peroni beer on tap was the best part of the experience. The wine list has affordable options.

I work around the block, so we’ve ordered lunch from here MANY a times, and the delivery has been decent, if not good. Sat in for lunch for the first time yesterday, without given any time for all of us to even open our menus, the waitress would like to know if we’d like to have any drinks(how about offering the wine menu or drinks menu first?). No water given to our table or even offered, mind you, there was NOONEELSE in the restaurant. Not to mention, the waitress is a little standoffish(doesn’t understand what we’re saying, but so quick to correct our pronunciation of Italian items on the menu — she obviously had an Italian accent) Now for the food — I feel bad leaving one star because, as I’ve mentioned, food we’ve gotten delivered has been satisfactory thus far. But this has happened once before when I’ve ordered the lobster ravioli and what I received was a container of ravioli filled with baby shrimp. Promptly called to inquire and was told to hold so they could speak to the chef. Someone else got on the phone and provided the explanation that THAT was what they had on hand and an apology. Firstly, why was I not told when placing the order, or given a callback to ask if the replacement would be ok, given«that was what they had on hand»?? Should’ve learned my lesson the first time… Ordered their lobster ravioli for lunch and got 5 ravioli with baby shrimp in each one. A joke. $ 15 for baby shrimp stuffed ravioli… Are they serious?!? We’d ordered a lot of apps and had our fill so I took my pasta to go, so can’t say how annoyed I was to find this nice surprise(?) once I got home. Not even going to bother calling. Obviously they don’t have enough respect to think their customers might know the difference between baby shrimp and lobster. Won’t be suggesting this place any longer for our office lunches. What a shame.

Met a good friend for a catch-up dinner and found this place. The place has a large bar in the middle of the restaurant with tables on either side of the bar and behind the bar so it almost more bar than restaurant. When we got there, there was a large crowd at the bar(for happy hour specials) so finding a table that was out of the way of the bar took some effort. Good variety of Italian dishes — salads, pizzas, pastas, and mains. Reasonably priced as my pasta dish was $ 13.95 and also came with some Italian bread. We split bruschetta($ 6 for 4 pieces) through the bread was a bit soggy but the tomato topping was generous and well seasoned. I had linguini with white clam sauce for my entrée. Well cooked pasta, not too oily or garlicky, and a bunch of full clams. My friend got ravioli which she liked. They gave about 6 – 7 big ravioli which was a good portion. The service was great as the food came promptly and they were happy to let us linger and talk after we ate our meal. They also have a good selection of reasonably priced beers and wines. A good spot for a quick reasonably good priced meal.

Upon walking in we were quickly seated which is always an added plus in my book… The staff was attentive but not to the point where they are overwhelming… We had a prosciutto and mushroom pizza that was made to perfection !! A beautiful crust that was in no way soggy !! Soggy pizza usually means either the cook is shitty or the oven is shitty… Obviously not the case here… So any way. our main courses came out in a timely manner, we shared the stuffed shrimp with crab and the chicken scarpariello. Both were to die for and great portions. Upon leaving manager wished us a good night which I think is also great… I will definitely be back soon.

Fast delivery — but it’s 4 pm on Friday. I’ve ordered from Il Mattone for 20 yrs and this appears to be its new name on Seamless? So confusing. Anyway, I was so hungry I opened the vat of chicken limone they sent. It’s loaded with huge pieces of over cooked broccoli(broccoli is cheap) and canned artichokes — PLUS cherry tomatoes thrown in whole — for what reason I do not know. The sauce was bland and gel like — the chicken tasted like nothing and the dish is completely not integrated. It was disgusting — but I was starving so I ate the chicken and left the rest. The smoke mozzarella rice balls were good. I won’t be going down this road again — waste of money — I could’ve made better chicken than this myself. Very, very disappointing.

Wow tremendous food. We were headed to another restaurant but when there was no Ac on 95 degree day, we found this pearl on Reade Street. We had penne nostra, pollo scapariello and linguini seafood scampi. All were delicious. Anabella, our waitress, was outstanding. Her recommendations were on the money. Will return many times again!

A great lunch splurge. This is my special occasion work place. The food never disappoints and the portions are quite big. Good friendly service and good cocktails too. The restaurant is a casual wooden-table atmosphere. It’s always busy so call ahead.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant since it first opened. It use to be a buffet style Chinese restaurant that closed down about 3 – 4 years ago. We patiently waited to see what would take its place. Lucky for us(work close by), it was this fabulous place. My office orders delivery 2 – 3 a week from here. If we are not too busy we go enjoy 1 hour of peace and quiet with delicious food. The delivery is always quick and the person taking orders is attentive even when we hear it that it’s a madhouse based on background noise via phone. Our favorites include penne pesto(we have grilled chicken added), chicken scarpariello, chicken fettuccine, veal scaloppine, the fried meatball appetizers, 3 cheese noochi, calamari app, burger, chicken Caesar salad and the garlic bread. I have gone to dinner there and their bar selection is not that large but it’s adequate for italian restaurant. They make pretty good mojitos when mint leaves are available. During the summer they have kareoke on thursday nights. We would frequent this last year. I hope they bring it back this summer again.

After my doctor’s appointment, I was starving and decided to walk and find a good place to eat. I came across this place. What drew me in were the prices of the lunch specials and on the menu they had Italian herb mac n cheese. I was sold!!! I walked in and realized how cute and unpretentious this place was. As soon as you walk in there’s a brick oven in the middle of the bar. I sat at the bar and was greeted right away. After placing my order I was given bread, unfortunately the bread was cold… weird since they have a brick oven… anyways, I ordered the mac n cheese and it was fantastic! I can’t wait until the next time in in the neighborhood, there’s. So many things I want to try off the menu.
