I’ve been here many, many times and they tend to be pretty inconsistent. When no one’s in the salon, as expected they’re more attentive. The whole experience is very relaxing and I leave a very satisfied customer. When more customers come in after you and start filling up the chairs, they start rushing and neglect the little things that I obviously notice right away. Thankfully, the end result for my nails is pretty much the same, but it takes the pampered/relaxing aspect out of the entire experience. It’s a bit disheartening because I’m a loyal customer and always tip well. Admittedly, I will still probably come back because it’s not far from where I live and it’s cheap.

Good mani pedi. The woman who is the owner is the best. No frills. Would go back. $ 8 manicure and $ 18 pedicure, $ 30 gel.

Not a huge OPI gel selection(about 20 colors), so opted for Shellac #19 with white tips. They do a brief massage while your nails are drying, which was nice. Paid $ 35 including tax for a gel French manicure plus tip. Pretty good deal – will definitely return!

I’m visiting NYC from Los Angeles, staying on the Upper East Side and I just happened to stop by this salon on my way back to my hotel. It was 5:30 on a Friday and there were a few customers there but Lee just had me pick a color and wait. He started my manicure and a woman named Rosa finished. Both of them were friendly, and didn’t argue when I said I wanted my nails oval-shaped rather than round or square, which is what usually happens. It was quick, high quality, and they have this great quick-dry thing that I haven’t really seen in LA a lot. It cost $ 9.50. $ 9.50!!! I have never ever ever gotten my nails done for this cheap, much less on the UES. Anyways, I’m very happy with how my nails look and definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a quick manicure!

When I entered it was only me and another customer there. Silence and just the sound of a fan. Awkward and not very relaxing… Then I got a woman that almost didn’t communicate with words, which made it hard to understand what she wants and kind of impersonal. Many things felt as if she’s just doing things to get them over with, like the 5 second hand massage I got. The final result was nice, but the whole experience was not relaxing and enjoyable. I will not be back.

I’ve walked by this nail salon many times and have always wanted to try it. The salon is small –3 pedicure chairs and 4 manicure stations– but very clean and extremely well staffed. I made an appointment for a manicure the day of, and when I arrived, was taken right away. After seeing the sign for their $ 25 mani/pedi deal, I asked if I could please add a pedicure to which they said no problem! That is one of the best deals on the UES! Both the manicure and pedicure were very good and thorough — service took a little over an hour but it was well worth it. FYI: they give out rewards cards so after your 7th manicure, you get one free! Other notable deals: $ 23 for manicure and 15 minute massage. $ 30 for gel manicure or shellac.

I got shellac done to my nails and loved it, but now it’s been almost 1 week and it’s falling apart and my cuticles seemed as if they were just pushed back not really taken care of. I probably wouldn’t go back it cost me $ 33 to last a week.

All employees were nice, and I’m very happy with my manicure! Prices can’t be beat…$ 8 mani! I got a simple design for $ 5 more. Do wish the place was a bit bigger, and I can see that being an issue if the salon got crowded, but I was in and out so it didn’t bother me. Can’t wait to go back.

Fast and efficient. I had a shellac mani/pedi and a full leg wax. The place was empty so no need to book. Will definitely be going back

Great service! Quick and extremely clean. I wish it were bigger in size, but it makes up for it in their customer service.

My second trip for a pedicure. The first time was good but went again yesterday and was worst pedicure I’ve ever had. Half of the massage chair did not work and nail tech did not appear to be experienced and did not put effort into it. Will not go back again for pedicure. I did get a 10 min massage waiting for my toes to dry and it was good!

Manicure was great but when I asked for change for a $ 20, for tip, since you can only tip in cash, it wasn’t until I got home after the salon was closed, that I realized that they only gave me $ 10 back not the $ 20! Will reach out tomorrow when they open and if they rectify this will change review. Be careful with cash and count, I know I will be more conscientious from now on.

I can’t speak about every technician in this place, but I can say that Cecilia has given me the best manicure I’ve had in recent memory. She shaped my nails beautifully and did what most salons fail to do: Get all of the cuticle out(after asking if I preferred this, of course). The rest of the staff was friendly, and the place seemed clean. They accept all major credit cards, except Amex. I did hear though, that soon they will only be accepting cash, but that would never stop me from visiting this place. It’s my new favorite in the UES.

Don’t go here! Had NOCLUE what they were doing! Went in w pics of what I wanted, a blended 2 tone on my fingers and a polka dot(black dots on white) on just the big toes and black on the rest of the toes. They looked at the pictures and assured me that they can do it, that they knew how to do it. The boss and 2 of the female technicians assured me. They did my toes first. They had to redo the big toe twice. And still it looks horrible. The dots are all crooked and spaced unevenly. A couple are smudged. There is a large open white area on one toe. And that’s the best they could do. Because I had them redo them twice. On to the nails. As the women is prepping my nails, I look behind me and notice all the workers(I am the only client in here at this point) are huddled over at a desk watching YouTube videos of how exactly to do the design They assured me they knew how to do. Then they started practicing on their male boss. One of the women came over to me after she felt secure, I guess, but after laying down a bottom coat it became apparent that she had no clue what she was doing. I recognized that she was doing it all wrong. At this point I had already been in there for 2 hours!!! I told her to forget it, take it off and just put on a nude color so I can leave. After all that they still charged me extra money for designs on both feet and hands. Place is the worst. DONOTWASTEYOURMONEY!

My friend and I came here on a Saturday afternoon for manis and pedis. We had appointments but got there a half hour early because we finished lunch earlier than expected. The place was empty so we were easily accommodated. Everyone was nice and the service was great. I used the Unilocal check-in offer and got $ 2 off. My only issue is the place is so tiny there’s no room to walk

Not sure how I never found this place earlier as it is literally across the street. I have never had anyone pay closer attention to my nails and their condition than Diamond Spa. They are clean, friendly and professional. It was not until after I left that I realized there was a $ 10 coupon for every visit, so I believed the prices to be pretty steep. The $ 10 puts them right on par with other upper east side establishments. Super sweet, nice, caring individuals and I will ABSOLUTELY make this my «homebase nail salon»

Although a small place, it’s packed with professionalism and friendliness. With all the nail salons in NYC, I found myself following them since they moved from 47th St. They are that good.

I love this nail salon — everyone here is so fun and friendly! Such lovely ladies. My manicure and pedicure(and it had been a while since my last pedicure) were absolutely impeccable. So much attention to detail, kindness, caring and the spa massage chairs during the pedicure are just awesome(as an added bonus)! Plus the price is totally reasonable at $ 29 for a mani-pedi. Highly recommend this wonderful salon. Keep up the great work ladies!
