Deweys Pub

The food was terrific. I had bbq on a roll along with fries which were terrific! They also have a good amount of beer on tap.
The only downside was — the food took over an hour to get to us & the restaurant wasn’t even crowded at all.
All in all a nice spot close to MSG to hit up before or after a game. They have a ton of tvs so it would also make a great spot to watch a game or 2.

I had typed in brunch and this place came up. Although it had nothing to do with brunch I was very happy with my burger. The place was clean and quiet and it was nice not have to wait. Throughly enjoyed the food!

Not typically a reviewer but great service needs to be recognized. A group of my friends literally invaded this place following a concert at MSG. Staff was great! The bartender that night handled the influx with grace and efficiency and no one waited for a single drink at any point. He happily accommodated my friend that asked for hot water for her tea, and didn’t even make too much fun of my drinking Amaretto Sours (said being Italian he couldn’t make fun of the Amaretto, but could laugh at the sour) Barbacks kept tables cleared, even after a broken glass led to us all being served in plastic :-)
The impromptu dance party we had here was the highlight of the trip.

Went here for dinner and really enjoyed it. I ordered the chicken and waffle which came with a side salad. The food was delicious. My friends really enjoyed their food too (they ordered the burger, fish & chips, and chicken sandwich). The price is reasonable considering where the place is located. The actual pub is very large with lots of TV screens so it is definitely good for watching sports or eating out. The desserts were a bit overpriced though and the service wasn’t the best. Would definitely recommend this place for the food and the atmosphere.

Great place to unwind, relax, and or to go for some after work drinks. I’ve been here on several occasions with coworkers, with friends, and for some alone time and I must say the service is up to par every time. Jen is pretty amazing, and EVERY bartender have always been conversational and inviting as well as amazing mixologists.
Heads up: Must try their wings

I came here last week for a work event and I was surprisingly happy about the service and the way management treated us. The food is a definitely above par of regular pub food. The chicken tenders, nachos and guacamole were all excellent. Plus, even though we had open bar, the bartenders treated us like regulars. I will definitely coming back to deweys in the future!

Good staff good beer and great food. Combine that with a ton of TVs to watch your game and you have a winner. We inundated this place with about 300 fans arriving almost simultaneously and they did a bang up job taking care of us.

A new pub located in a new hotel in midtown.
Went here for an office party the other night.
Decently sized space with multiple tv screens.
Live acoustic guitar player/​singer for entertainment.
Average pub grub food and average pours on the mixed drinks.
No gastro pub epiphanies, but no complaints either.

Great food! Great casual atmosphere. Food is far above typical pub fare. Excellent choice for a casual dinner.

Food was great! Came here on a Saturday night for my boyfriends birthday and it was awesome. The restaurant really accommodated for us. Try the empanadas!

Looks like a chain but is very New York local. If you are reticent to branch out from Applebee’s but you’ve grown some cojones today check out this place. It’s well organized (like a chain) but still true to eating local. Great food. Decent beer selection.

Went here to meet up with a family member in town for the weekend. It is a newer place, that is not going to be going anywhere. The food was amazing, great selection of drinks, they have rotating beers on tap which is awesome. The staff is very friendly. Place has a great atmosphere!

Good bar food. Dewey’s is right next door to the hotel I stay in for my business trips, so it’s super convenient to grab takeout from. I ordered a sandwich done up like a wrap and they were able to accommodate that with no issue. Sweet potato fries were pretty good. Hostess was very nice. Seems like a good spot to go and watch football, as they have tons of TV’s, beer, etc.

Loved this joint. Hanging watching football before hockey and live the vibe. Server was engaging and funny and the food rocked. Short Rib sliders were juicy and delicious with a bit of heat on the back end. Same for the bourbon BBQ wings, good size with some heat.
Great stop for pre concert or games.

My husband and I went to Deweys for dinner before going to see Kinky Boots last night. This is a gem of a place. The food was excellent, it was clean, and our server Jenn was awesome. They have outside seating, but we chose to sit inside because we loved the atmosphere. It feels like an upscale sports bar/​restaurant. Thanks Jenn for your awesome suggestions. The mussels were delicious!!!

Have been here 3 times now and each experience has been more lacking than the last.
I was really excited for this place to open as it’s only a block away from my office and we were void of decent pubs. Prices are a bit steep, but you wouldn’t mind paying a little extra for really good food. I found the wings to be hit or miss and each visit the «hot» sauce had varying degrees of heat. Short rib sliders on pretzel rolls are pretty good. The fish and chips were bland and a bit soggy.
Service has been spotty. The first visit it was great, we had a waiter and his apprentice in training servicing our table. The drinks came up quickly and the food was not far behind. Second time I sat inside and service was just OK. Most recent visit we sat outside again and the place was completely empty. Drinks took over 15 minutes and the food took a lot longer than expected especially considering we informed the waiter that any chance of getting us out by 1PM would be appreciated.
Dewey’s definitely has a lot of potential and this visit won’t be my last.

Amazing ! Loved the Buttermilk Fried Chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun. The food here is fresh and delicious. I also tried the spiked root beer for the first time. It obviously just as good as everything else these guys do. I have been back several times already this week.
