Great Oasis for a peaceful cup of coffee or lunch. Love this place– thank you NYC Parks Deot.

I am of the belief that NY needs more parks, even little ones like this one. Nice peaceful oasis in lower Manhattan. Great place to see pretty office girls nibbling on their salads at lunch time or watch piceons chase each other around. Word of warning about those feathered fellas is watch where u sit, look down at the bench and up to see whos hanging above you.

Hat tip to Tina C. for reviewing this cool little park. I had no idea it was here but now I stop here whenever I am in the area. A little oasis from the noise of Lower Manhattan. Great place to sit and enjoy a nice cup of joe.

DeLury Square is a 8,850-square-foot, 0.21 acre local park with a functioning water fountain that sits on Fulton Street between Ryders Alley and Gold Street of Lower Manhattan. It encompasses of a modern slate-like path of shrubberies and man-made rock formation to masquerade traffic noise from a busy Fulton Street. I really like the modern slate-like path. Modern metal benches befitting the slate-like path scenery. DeLury Square materialized, I believe, circa 2010 as I do not recall its existence known during my undergraduate days pre-2010 nearby Pace University. As per NYC Parks Department, DeLury Square was created to align an intersection to remove a perilous turning lane, which this turning lane was indeed extremely dangerous from my many years of walking through Fulton Street. It serves as a good resting place to intake a day in life. «Whole world seems to be too busy now days. Nobody’s got time to just enjoy their day anymore.» Angel of Death, Season 6 — «Charmed»
