This place is awesome! I had visit others in the city and this is by far the best. The laser they use don’t hurt as much. Place is clean and modern. Stuffs are great! Specially the tech Victoria. Very professional, friendly, she make sure I was ok, she also did a great job getting every part of my body.(laser hair removal) Highly recommend this place.

The atmosphere, décor and service was excellent! I got a deal for two visits on Groupon and for sure I will be returning for my next appointment.
Inna was my specialist and she was so amazing and quick, painless and effortless that I didn’t even know we were done with my service! I was expecting loud drilling sounds but all I heard was restful music playing and she even left me to relax for a moment with my hot towel to sooth my skin and relax me.
It was a wonderful session and my skin looked great! I mean it wasn’t horrible before but just even better because of the service. I can’t wait till my next appointment!

Used My Groupon twice and have been quite pleased. Service is perfectly fine and staff is very amiable. Lori is a Wonderful Esthetician!

I couldn’t even make an appt because the phone didn’t work right, then the computers didn’t work right, 10 min on hold and I spoke to 3 different receptionist and known couldn’t figure out how to book an appt for me, what a joke! Good thing they won’t be touching my face

This place is pretty cool. I found it on groupon. First I came here for facial– 30 min microdermabrasion’s the esthetician was very nice, and informative. I’m not visiting for laser with another esthetician and she’s just as great. I want to try out their hair salon next!

The reception’s attitude was so rude and impatient. Actually the shop recently hired new manager and changed the reception staff.
I have been a loyal customer for over 2 years. Tried almost all the products and service they have. Honestly, I love the old reception staff and marketing manger. They’re so nice and considerate. What I’m complaining is only the current ones.

Purchased a Groupon for a package of Microdermabrasions and was excited to try out Deify. When I called to make the appointment I wasn’t given any specific instructions on how to prep. When they called the day before to confirm nothing was mentioned then either. Once I arrived for the appointment and was taken in to the room the tech asked if I had any creams etc on my face to which I replied yes (aczone a topical from the dermatologist that was used that morning). The tech told me that I would have not used the topical for 10 days prior to this procedure which was a shock! When I asked if I could have anything else done– facial etc. since I was already there and taken time off she said no, but she could put on a mask. This was a HUGE waste of time and really showed the inefficiency of the staff to properly inform customers of very important information.

I had my hair cut by Nadia. Showed her some photos of the undercut style I wanted, and she did a wonderful job, better than what I imagined. She said they will do clean up hair trims for only $ 20 between haircuts, which is helpful for undercuts.
A few days later I had my peacock hair color done by Jeanise. She is the best! I showed her photos and she got the brilliant jewel tone green, blue, purple hues that I love. She suggested adding a little bit of red which turned out really beautiful.
The bleach they use does not smell strong at all, and the hair dryers are gentle so they don’t fry your hair and scalp. Best of all, the hair color is vegan and smells like peppermint. She painted it straight onto my scalp and it didn’t burn at all. This is the very best hair color experience I’ve had after 20 years living in NYC.

I come here for all my beauty needs! Amazing laser hair removal treatments. I do full leg, Brazilian, and underarms with Cynthia and I love the results. I get my hair done with Jack and let me tell you a good haircut goes a long way. Not only are the services great but their loyalty to customers is something I really appreciate. They take good care of their clients and you always walk out feeling the love. I have tried many spots and I have to say Deify has my heart.

I went there in an impulsive search of a hair salon to get my roots done. The location is pretty convenient for me as well. And after having bleach on my roots for 15 minutes or so it came out great, super light with barely any damage what so ever.
I was super happy with the overall result. I believe Jackie (can’t find her card… But the lady with blue hair) did an amazing job! My only downfall was the blow dry don by the apprentice. I just wanted a simple blow dry but the apprentice kept trying to put me all together and fancy ish when I just like it messy.‘I will definitely come back though my next root touch up though! I was quite happy with it over all

I too discovered Deify via Groupon many moons ago. Since then I’ve completed laser hair removal treatments on two areas (total of six sessions per area). I would book two appointments one after the other and get both areas treated in one visit.
I really enjoyed (as much as anyone can enjoy having their skin zapped with lasers) treatments with Diana and Victoria (who I unfortunately only had for my last treatments!). Diana is as sweet as the other reviews say, and Victoria is great about distracting you during the process. If I decide to get additional laser treatments, I would consider coming back here. Honestly it’s not really a service for which I want to do a ton of shopping around — I also had a rather negative experience at a fancy midtown place before discovering Deify so I’m happy to stick with this place.
Additional perk for those who completed a full set of six treatments here is that maintenance appointments are at 50% of full price. Happy lasering!

AVOID MICRODERMABRASION HERE.
I had the absolutely WORST FACIAL in my life here. The technician Inna was extremely rough on my skin, repetitively sucking even inch of it with force. I told her a few times that it hurts, but she kept reassuring me that it’s okay and that my skin wasn’t reacting abnormally and she just kept on going. Two and a half days later, my skin was more RED, ROUGH AND IRRITATED than it has ever been in my entire life. It burns when I use the most mild moisturizer. I have done many facials before and have never got such horrific result. Now I’m just praying that it may go back to normal… I don’t like to leave bad reviews but as a victim I feel morally obligated to give a fair warning to other customers.

During my THIRD visit in August the receptionist (Rossell?) charged me an additional $ 230 ON TOP of the $ 379 I had already paid for my 6-session Laser Hair Removal Groupon.
I was told in August that since the previous receptionist had not 1) made note of my initial visit in April (even though I filled out paperwork) 2) registered my Groupon, or 3) requested payment for taxes that the promotional value of my Groupon would not be honored. I ended up being stuck with a hefty fee because of poor communication on the business’ part. As much as I love my technician (and the new receptionist Sharon!) I will most likely NOT get another area treated here…
My technician Hannah Sabas is wonderful though. She is friendly, patient, and accommodating. She even talks me through the session to take my mind off the sting.

I purchased the package deal on Groupon. This was my first laser hair removal facility and was a bit nervous since many people have different experiences.
I LOVED the fact that they send you an email about the dos and donts before treatment.
I had a total of 6 bikini line treatments. And the results are wonderful, I have to go back for a touch up only because hair is growing in only a little bit (fuzzy) –not much noticeable.
The atmosphere is chic and relaxed I wouldn’t mind showing up early and watching people walk by. Management has a great way of making its customers feel welcomed. Coffee, tea, and water is available.
The girls at front desk were both friendly and helpful. All technicians have their own personality and I recommend finding one that you prefer and tipping her well.
I will be going back soon. Setting up appointments are awesome since they even send email reminders.

I came to Deify for Laser hair removal with a groupon. I am SO pleased with the service and the results so far. I have light brown/blonde hair and they have the most updated technology which I have not found previously. Sharon at the front desk is so friendly and helpful. If i need to change my appointment I just email her and she is SO quick to respond. I have seen three different technicians all of which were SO friendly and professional. I recommend Gabby or Anna for laser hair removal. They talk about whatever you want to talk about during the session and make you feel comfortable. I loved my first experience so much that I bought two more laser services. They always seem to have great deals going on, most recently I bought underarms with the $ 100 bucks of $ 200. I definitely recommend Deify, latest technology and great technicians.

I was a loyal customer at this salon for almost 2 years. The gentleman at the front desk, Sergio, was incredibly demeaning and dismissive. The worst customer service I have experienced in the beauty industry in NYC. You would think after spending $ 1,000s at this salon, they would at the very least be polite to customers. I will never return solely based on how I was treated. This has happened to me multiple times with Sergio. Melissa the owner is great, but I unfortunately end up speaking with Sergio most often.
My results were spotty. It worked for awhile and then stopped working. I wanted to work with the salon to figure out how I could alter the laser settings to get better results. But like I said, not worth the hassle of being harassed by their front desk staff.

My first experience unfortunately also ended becoming my last experience! Was excited to try out this salon because it is so close to where I live. Had made a 9 am appointment for a blow-out and stylist was 45 mins late! I was so disappointed because I had a 10 am photo shoot and was counting on this appointment to be done on time. Both the stylist and staff apologized but didn’t seem to acknowledge how unprofessional it was on their part to be this late. I reluctantly ended up getting a blow out anyway since all other salons were fully booked. I wish they had at least offered me some sort of a discount for the inconvenience. Most businesses would do that to maintain customer loyalty but deify didn’t seem to care.
Utterly disappointed and would never go back or recommend this place to anyone.

My first session was with Inna. Forgot the name of the second girl.
This place seems to just cycle through people which at least means they’re likely to be on schedule. Likely also means you’re not really building a relationship with someone that you’d like to see on a regular basis.
