I’ve been getting my hair cut by Joseph (Joe) for over a year. Awesome haircuts every time. He gives the attention and care to your haircut 100% of the time — even when I have an appointment, and he’s finishing up with someone in the chair, he won’t rush them. Instead, he gives his attention to his customer, and makes sure he gives an amazing cut. Likewise, when I’m in his chair and he has customers waiting, he still makes sure that he’s given me the cut I want. 100% care and attention to the person in his chair.
The point is, he has high standards for his work, and he’ll make sure you walk away with a great cut. He delivers every time.

I was a walk-​in and David cut my hair. Very nice guy, but damn did he mess up my cut. I didn’t realize it until after I left because I was in a hurry, but I asked for a 1-​to-​2 fade and he basically did a 1 trim all the way around my head, with a little blending and took way more off the top than I asked for. So yeah, it’s going to look a little stupid until it grows out, which is a bummer.
The hot shave was nice though.

This place was recommended by a friend and I know a lot of other people were really happy, I left unhappy. Here’s the details:
Some barbers are good and lovely, nice and get the kind of hair due your looking for. Some are great people but don’t. In my case I give general instructions and leave out the details. If mid way in I see they don’t get it, I start giving specific instruction like trim this cut there… But it usually happen when I am already not happy with the work.

Was unable to get a cut in my home town before traveling to NYC. Im don’t just go to any barbershop, I’m really particular about my hair. After using Unilocal and google I choose to come here. Joseph cut my hair and it great cut. Told him exactly what I wanted and he delivered, price was good. Can complaint about a thing. Give them a try.

I started going to David’s during the last 10 months or so. At first I had David cut my hair, then on busier days, I’d try out a few others. After a few rounds, and knowing how my hair is — I went back with David. He knows exactly what I want every time I walk in. Super-​friendly and runs a clean operation.
Word of advice: Although they take cards, bring some cash to tip.

Terrible haircut. The Barber didn’t speak any English and he messed up my hairline so bad. I am pissed. He charged me $ 30 and now I have to go somewhere else to get it shaved off. Do not go here. They are crooks

I had a decent haircut at David’s, but nothing outstanding.
The guy who cut my hair had a good style so that gave me hope. But ultimately he did the «typical guy cut” – shortish on top and short on the side; even though I asked to keep it «kind of long» on top.
My beard trim was good – and that guy can handle a straight razor – but he took my beard/​neckline up way too high.
Interestingly he didn’t speak the entire time, which in theory was cool but felt kind of unnerving.
Price wise it was decent, but not nearly as cheap as Edy’s.
